ARC provided by the Publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
Hunting with the SEAL was just an okay read for me. It wasn't the best military romance book I've read.

The writing was okay - fairly simple in style - but it's not the best military romance I have read, by a long shot. This book is obviously part of an ongoing series, one I haven't read unfortunately, so I was a bit lost. I would say if you are going to read this very fast paced novella, please start with book one so you won't be confused or bombarded with stacks of information in the first chapter. My thanks go to NetGalley and the publisher for the e-ARC in return for my opinion.

Kyle Matthews won’t rest until the man responsible for his brother’s death is caught. Unfortunately, it looks like he will have to work with his brother’s widow, Special Agent Natalie Matthews, to complete the job.
This was the first book I read by this author. I wasn’t really sure that I would get into it, but it was surprisingly good. I would like to read more from this author as well as read the other books in this series that involved the other members of the seal team. I recommend.

Didn't finish this one. Very iffy story, it felt like the plot existed for the plot itself and nothing more, I felt no connection to the characters, and the narrative style was rather amateurish.

Almost in the vein of an enemies to lovers story involving Kyle who is obsessed with finding the person/s responsible for his brother's death and vengeance. Natalie, his brother's wife is working for the CIA and has been tasked with capture alive. Kyle does not trust his sister and has good reason for those feelings. An appreciation for the story requires that you recognize that this is fiction, not true to life and many inconsistencies with realtiy. A good, suspenseful story, regardless.
