Thought the beginning was slow but it picked up quickly. Have always enjoyed this author and I am looking forward to the conclusion of this series.

My review of this title will be short, sweet and straightforward.

The first book in the series, If I Run, was "unputdownable"and I anxiously awaited book 2. However, it seemed to me to just be a kind of "filler" book before we get to the end of Dylan and Casey's story in book 3. I guess authors sign a contract to write a three-book series and that's what they have to do. But in this case, guess I wish we could've just cut to the chase and had a conclusion to the story. Book also seemed quite short.

Only reason I would get it for my library is that it's part of a series and I already have book one.

This is #2 in the "If I Run" series. The first book builds suspense.
This book continues the excitement and will keep you running.

Love the inspiration and reminders of God.
I have shared many of her same feelings sitting in church or reading my Bible.
PTSD is an important element of this series and we need to learn more how to help PTSD victims.

Terri Blackstock's books are filled with inspiration.
I am looking forward to her next one.

ANOTHER ACTION PACKED ADVENTURE!!

"If I'm Found" grabs you from the first sentence and holds your attention until the last period!! The plight of Casey continues as Dylan tries to find her before crooked police officers Keegan & Rollins do so. Casey just can't stop herself from helping others who are in serious trouble. Will that ultimately cost her freedom? How long can she continue to hide and travel back and forth among different states and with multiple identities?? Keegan & Rollins have some Wins in this installment. However, Dylan has some Wins, too, which may prove to be the Bigger Wins in the long run. Is there a romance blooming? Very intense from start to finish!!! Truly a great read!!! I was furnished an ARC by NetGalley and the publisher. This review is my own personal opinion.

If I Am Found is the second book in the If I Run series, and continues the story of Casey Cox who is on the run for a murder that she did not commit. This sequel focuses less on the suspense and action and more on the mental and emotional struggles of guilt, PTSD, and search for justice. Unlike its predecessor, readers can finish this book and feel a sense of resolution rather than wanting to throw the book across the room with its dramatic ending. I would highly recommend that readers buy both books and binge read. My library buys any Terri Blackstock book in multiple format as patrons love her books. The holds list is growing as the publication date nears.

If I'm Found by Terri Blackstock

Casey Cox is on the run, fleeing from a murder she did not commit. She is being tracked by Dylan Roberts who was hired by the victim's family to find the murderer. Dylan has been contacting her by email giving her the impression that he might believe that she did not commit the murder. In fact, he has let her go on at least one occasion. Casey while on the run continues to come across folks that are in situations that have put them in harm. She puts her own safety and freedom aside to help them when she can.

This sequel to If I Run is a page turner! It can be read as a standalone and still make a great read. Terri Blackstock has the ability to write characters that the reader begins to care and root for in her stories. The mystery of whether Casey actually murdered is the main plot and unfolds through Casey's point of view, Dylan and the detectives on the case for the police. These points of view help flesh out the story a little but the conclusion will have to wait until the third installment. The secondary plot, happens when Casey discovers a child being abused. This plot is not as much of a suspense but a call for justice. The characters of Casey and Dylan show how a new relationship can lead someone down their faith journey and to accepting Christ. Hand this book to anyone that like a quick and fun suspense but doesn't mind waiting a bit for the final conclusion. Fans of Terri Blackstock will not be disappointed and new readers will be drawn in enough to want to go back and read the first book in the series.

Note: I was given an electronic copy via Edelweiss and the publisher, Zondervan for an honest review.

There was a time not very long ago when I would have told you that I'm not a huge fan of thrillers. The main reason for that being that secular thrillers are often filled with language and situations that I don't care for. Christian thrillers sometimes seem like they are trying too hard to be thrilling, and throw in every twist and turn imaginable, making the story hard to read. But in the last few months I have identified a few authors who do the Christian thriller thing just right, and I will literally devour anything written by these authors.

One of the queens of the Christian thriller is certainly Terri Blackstock. Her books easily top my all-time favorites list. Her Restoration series, is incredible, and the novel Predator is one that every person on social media should read--especially if you are one of those people who like to post every little detail of your life online. You may remember that her book If I Run was on my 2016 favorites list. Now, after what seems like forever (but really hasn't been so long) there is a sequel!

If I'm Found picks up moments after If I Run ends, when Dylan let Casey escape after she rescued the kidnapped girl. Now she' on the run again from the ruthless men who murdered her father twelve years ago, and more recently stabbed her best friend to death. But now, Dylan is secretly on Casey's side, and they are working together to gather enough evidence to bring the dirty officers to justice. They are getting close, but Keegan is always just one step behind, and he will stop at nothing to kill Casey and silence her forever. He's beginning to grow suspicious of Dylan, and, although he can't prove it, thinks he may be helping Casey. Casey is on the trail of a new piece of evidence, when her life suddenly becomes entwined with that of Cole Whittington, who she discovers is contemplating suicide. Determined to prevent some other little girl from suffering like she has after finding her father's body, Casey attempts to help Cole, while also rescuing a little girl who is suffering abuse. But she ends up exposing herself in the wrong place, and the danger to both her and Dylan escalates. Casey is running out of disguises, and places to hide, but she's finally beginning to see and feel the God that Dylan and Miss Lucy serve. In the end, she can only trust Him for safety and guidance.

I had forgotten just how good If I Run was until I read this book. Even with all of my chores, writing and general child-raising, I read it in about two days. It's heart-stopping, edge-of-your-seat sort of reading. I've been trying hard to go to bed earlier, but I absolutely couldn't put this one down. I finally forced myself to close it up, and then I lay in bed and wondered what was going to happen next! The characters in this series are a bit unexpected, and even flawed. Although Dylan is determined to help solve this crime, and ultimately get a job on the Shreveport Police Department, he is suffering through PTSD, and it sometimes gets in the way of his judgment. Casey is running for her very life, but can't seem to leave well enough alone with other people's problems. It nearly led to her capture once, but she won't stop. While this makes for a great story, I couldn't help but think how stupid she was sometimes. I don't know if I would have made any different choices than she did, though, if a little girl's life was in danger.

You need to read If I Run and If I'm Found as soon as you can get your hands on them! I don't usually give such strong recommendations as that, but I'm telling you, I love this series! I cannot wait until the sequel is published. I hope Ms. Blackstock is typing her little fingers to the bone! Actually, I would gladly volunteer to type mine to the bone for her, if it meant I could find out what's going to happen to Casey and Dylan sooner! Don't hesitate, read now!

I am so pleased to read and review this book that I have been waiting to read for months. Terri Blackstock's book, "If I'm Found" gives readers everything they need to immerse themselves into an outstanding story.

The action starts on page one and continues until the last page. The likeable characters, realistic dialogue, and unexpected twists added to the suspense.

This is one of the best suspense series I have read. I highly recommend it. I look forward to the next book.

“I don’t know where I am, but when you have no destination, it doesn’t really matter if you get lost” (location 79). This sentiment conveys some of the despair Casey feels as she flees her home town in order to protect her loved ones. When crooked police are trying to keep you silent, there aren’t many options to turn to for help.

As Casey lives in hiding, she is again drawn into someone else’s injustice and pain. Intervening will increase her risk of exposure. But she is “so tired of evil winning.” Cases become entangled and the danger keeps escalating. It’s an exciting ride from start to finish.

Dylan is still on the case and is more convinced than ever that Casey is innocent. He’s in a race to find evidence against the crooked cops before they find and eliminate Casey.

I admired Casey in how she put others before herself even when it came at a very high cost to herself. Her life is so complicated. It was fascinating to listen in as she talked to someone in crisis to hear how her own experiences affected her. We learn great lessons in times of our greatest pain and they often are the most helpful as we talk to others who are suffering.

While you can read this book as a stand-alone, it would be so much better if you read “If I Run” first. You’ll have a greater appreciation for the characters (good and bad) and will understand the backstory so much better.

This was a great read. I can hardly wait for the next book to find out what is going to happen next. Thank you to Zondervan for providing me with a free e-book. No review was required. All opinions are my own.

Very book page turning book. Exciting and fast paced. .

I was so eager to read “If I’m Found” after reading the first book of the series “If I Run”. It was difficult to wait because I wanted to know what would happen next to Casey Cox and how Dylan Roberts would handle his pursuit of her. I am happy to say that I was not at all disappointed. Once again, my only complaint is that it ended much too soon.

The story is a unique one in which the man hired to find and arrest Casey suspects her innocence and stays just close enough on her trail to protect her from the true murderers and keep them thinking he hasn’t caught up to her. There are plenty of close calls, often because Casey just can’t keep herself from helping others which frequently places her in danger. I like both Dylan and Casey more with each book. Their integrity and faith are strong in the face of nearly hopeless circumstances.

Terri Blackstock is one of the best when it comes to riveting mystery and suspense. I loved “If I’m Found and can’t wait for the final book in this series but will certainly be sorry when it is over.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. If I'm found is book two in the If I Run series by Terri Blackstock. This book was very fast paced and not a dull moment in the writing. This book focuses on the perspective of Dylan and Casey.

In the first book, Dylan had been hired as a PI to catch Casey Cox who has been accused of killing his best friend Brent. By the end of book one, Dylan doubts that Casey did the things that she is being accused of. In this book he continues to build a case on who killed Brent and does so by working with Casey. In the process we get to dig deeper into the possible corruption that has occurred in the police department.

As Casey travels and works to clear her name under different identities she once again finds a situation she cannot turn away from. A child that is being abused for an exchange for other things and also encounters a man that is possibly suicidal and learns more about him in the process. Not only does she have to continue to hide in this small town but she has to help her friend Cole who gets wrongfully accused of a crime and then gets his children taken away from him and also save a small child from being abused.

Once again Blackstock is able to leave you dangling at the edge of your seat till the very end as she wraps up the injustices that are occurring. This will leave If I Run series fans begging for book #3.

If I'm Found is the riveting sequel to If I Run. As you know, in book one Casey Cox was accused of murdering her best friend. She's uncovering something bigger, and even saves a kidnapped teenager along the way, why would a killer do that?

I thought book two was even more exciting. You can easily see that Casey has inherited her father's keen detective skills. Thankfully the private investigator hired by the Pace family to locate Casey believes in her innocence and will stop at nothing to keep her safe from the crooked cops.

This book has heart pounding, nonstop action. The kind of book that keeps you up at night unable to stop reading until the very end. Which by the way, leaves us eagerly anticipating the next installment.

This book has all things awesome in it! I was so excited to continue Casey Cox's story. Opening this book was like revisiting a friend to make sure she was all right and I wasn't disappointed.
This book had me biting my nails, sighing with happiness, and crying in shock. Ms. Blackstock made me experience all the emotions necessary in a romantic suspense. I cannot WAIT until book 3 comes out.

My recommendation for reading Terri Blackstock's If I Run series is to read them in order and one right after the other. I read If I Run right when it came out, and I remember the story ending in a cliff hanger, so I picked it up again when I had a copy of If I'm Found. I'm glad I did because I don't think the second one would make much sense if the first one wasn't fresh in my mind.

Again, Blackstock understands what her readers want, and she delivers. I really like the pace and movement of this series. I like how each individual story doesn't place Casey in a safe place. Instead she is on the run at the end of the book, begging me to come back to the next installment and see what she is up to. I really like the fast pace of the novel. I enjoy watching Casey, who is on the run of a supposed murder, still take the time to show her true nature. In each novel, she solves a mystery to see justice done. I admire her for thinking of others even when she is running for her own life. One of my favorite parts is that Blackstock does not solve the overarching mystery that has Casey on the run in the first or second book. I have to keep reading the series to see what happens. I wish more books did this. In addition, Blackstock has brought back Dylan, the hero, who proves even more in If I'm Found that he truly trusts and believes in Casey. I like Dylan. He makes me smile and glad to see him on Casey's side.

Don't worry. There is some romance blooming toward the end of If I'm Found, but nothing that takes away from the constant running from the men trying to capture Casey. I like that the romance has taken a while to bloom. Casey and Dylan weren't forced into a romance in the first book, unrealistically, and allowed me to suffer through their budding relationship.

The writing is concise and clear. Blackstock starts each chapter with the character's name, so I don't become confused whose point of view I should be in. It helped a lot. The settings appeared realistic. I could draw the houses and motels in my imagination and see Casey hopping around from place to place. The one issue I had with the story is the amount of hidden CSI type things Casey has done to reach her sister or stay one step ahead of the bad guy. I know I read A LOT of mysteries, but when it comes down to running for my personal life, would I remember to do half the stuff she does? Probably not. Seems unrealistic to me.

If I'm Found is an original and unpredictable story that kept me on the edge of my seat. I finished it in one day. As for the spiritual element, Blackstock does have Dylan as a strong Christian who rubs off on Casey. Not preachy. Just offering some forgotten advice to help her. I think this book is okay for fans of any age. There is nothing offensive or disgusting for younger audiences.

In conclusion, Terri Blackstock's second installment in her If I Run series, If I'm Found captures my attention from the first page with the fast pace and characters I have come to know. I highly recommend rereading the first book, If I Run right before sitting down and reading this book, so the story flows more smoothly.

I received a complimentary copy of Terri Blackstock's If I'm Found from Thomas Nelson Publishing and the opinions stated are all my own.

My only complaint about the book is that it ended! The second in a series (If I Run is the first title) picks up right where the first left off (warning--this one will end abruptly making the reader stew for months on end until the next one comes out). Casey has been accused of a crime she didn't commit and the victim's parents have hired a PI to track her down. The only problem? The longer he hunts for Casey, the more convinced Dylan is that she's innocent. If only Casey could stay hidden until the truth comes out. But she can't. This time, a haunting encounter with a little girl convinces her that she has to reveal the truth--even if it means her capture.

I'm a fan of Terri Blackstock, but not a fan of books that don't have a clear ending. Apparently there is a sequel coming later. Ugh. As a story (the second in this series) it was very well done with lots of twists and turns from characters that remain true to themselves. Don't look for the happy ending in this one. It hasn't ended yet.
