Leaving the traditional faith communities but remaining a fan of Jesus is not a welcomed perspective for many conservative churches. This was my own journey and I have often been told I was 'back-sliding. In a time where faith, and even more so, Christianity, has been politically polarized, Stellman's memoir presents a different view - we're right where we're supposed to be and that's okay.
