Thank you Netgalley and Aria for this digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.
So I can't say too much about this without giving loads away but essentially Amanda and Will are apparently a blissfully happy couple until she receives an innocuous wrong number. Within 24 hours Will is missing and Amanda has to turn to her ex Shane (who is rather helpfully a detective) to find where he is and why he has vanished.
So first the good. This is a great story with a main character that is a bit of a go getter - Amanda isn't fearless exactly but she isn't willing to sit back and wait for events to unfold for her. She has her own set of skills that she is ready to use even if it means been on the wrong side of the law.
And then the bad. There's a fair bit of padding in the guise of unnecessary descriptions. The book ended very suddenly, leaving me a bit confused only to realise there will be a sequel. Well obviously I don't know what the author intends to happen but it did feel as if this was stretched out already so splitting the story seems unnecessary.
I you like thrillers you'll like this but probably won't love it. A good and undemanding read.

I enjoyed this book, it was an easy read nothing too heavy. The premise is good. Amanda receives a mistaken call asking for jake burton and when she tells her husband will he seems worried. He disappears the next day and when the police have no leads amanda resorts to her hacker past to find him with the help of the ex boyfriend policeman. Amanda knows very little about her husband and his background which is intriguing. The twist was abit predictable for my liking but there were other plots to keep the reader interested! My main gripe is i feel the story could have been finished within one book but there is a frustrating and abrupt end although a sequel will be out in the summer.
