This story has interesting characters, they take the small town attitude to far. People in a small town aren't going to behave the way they do in this story.

While the book is well write and entertaining, it just kinda starts and ends in the middle of a thought. Jericho one of our main characters is dropped into a very shaky situation. He has a very innocent view to be an LA detective. All throughout the story he is still determined to believe the other characters tell the truth, and law enforcement agencies are honest.

Wade is the local bad guy, into drugs and gun running, but he is friends with Jericho and goes out of his way to help. I like him, but he just doesn’t come across as the bad guy that they play him out to be.

Overall well written just not my favorite story.
