Some books start out slowly and then the plot thickens. Some books grab you by the end of the first or second chapter. This book grabs you on the first page. Pursued by Lisa Harris tells the story of special agent Nikki Boyd who survives a plane crash, but that’s only the beginning. Nikki never gets a chance to recover because she is quickly catapulted into a search for a missing person, her specialty. This is the first book that I have read in the Nikki Boyd series and I cannot wait to read more in this series. I received a digital copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for my honest review.

What an action packed book? You never felt like a certain part was filler, the story was entertaining throughout. But I have to say, Nikki the main character had to be exhausted with all the events of the next few days.. To start off with a plane crash that you survive, then head up a hunt to find the passenger who was seated beside her. Nikki had to put aside personal problems concerning her boyfriend, Tyler and stay committed to find the lady. She was fortunate enough to have a capable team work with her and an understanding supportive boyfriend in Tyler. I enjoyed the book and didn't want it to end.

Pursued is the third exciting adventure in The Nikki Boyd Files written by author Lisa Harris. This is an excellent series. Can't wait to read the next book. Thanks to NetGalley and Revell publishing for the advance copy.

I gave book four stars because even though I enjoyed it, and even though it kept me intrigued and kept me guessing, I felt that there were just too many crazy things that happened to this one agent. Besides that, the story moved along nicely and the touch of romance was just right. I wish I had read the second one in the series first, but overall it seemed to recap nicely and it didn't diminish my enjoyment of the book. I would recommend this to friends.

Fans of police dramas will enjoy this fast moving story! From the first scene to the end, it all takes place in just a few days.
Nikki leads an exciting life as a missing persons officer in Nashville. She is a good character, tough and smart, but compassionate when needed. Plenty of action and suspense with some gritty scenes, yet also some touching moments squeezed in that add inspiration and a little bit of a romantic interest carried over from the other books. Nothing sugar-coated or too sappy here.
Third book in the series, but easily reads as a stand alone. Recommend!

Nikki, Jack and Gwen are back! This is the third book in the Nikki Boyd series and not only have I loved every book in this series but this book was by far the best of the three! Starting from the first chapter where Nikki gets into a plane crash this book takes you on a thrill ride as she tries to find Erika then Erika's daughter Lilly. So much suspense and non stop action this book was great!!! IF you love a good suspenseful mystery that you will be up all night reading then this book is for you! Highly recommend.. You won't be disappointed!

PURSUED by Lisa Harris the 3rd in the Nikki Boyd Series. Nikki having a turbulent airplane ride, that had to make an emergency landing. Finding a passenger dead, and the woman in the middle seat, seemed to have vanished. They check the flight manifest and that seat was empty. Nikki found the woman's watch after she left, even though airline staff didn't believe her. Why would the air Marshall be on the
plane, and now dead. FBI agent come and ask Nikki to come with them, they inform her, that Ericka was on the plane, and the air Marshall was escorting her. There is a leak somewhere, and chaos of plane crash. Nikki job is missing persons, they want her to find Erika, within 48 hours. Love is a powerful motivator, Nikki wants to get case close and be with Tyler, now knowing he loves her. Good flowing plot, that lets you into the characters, and the steps to solve this mystery. As all her books , this too is a winner, for all to enjoy and read. Given ARC by Net Galley for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

I enjoyed reading the 3rd book of this series. Each book has felt like a chapter in life, with each chapter building on the other. I love the main characters and their interactions. I hope Lisa Harris has a few more books left in this series (fingers crossed), because I want to travel through more cases with Nikki! ☺
