A great first novel witch deletes into the depth of relationship between four brothers. Hannon’s character development is rich and deep. She keeps you engaged and turning each page in expectation.

A story of a childhood marked by brotherly bonds of mischief and ongoing abuse at the hands of an alcoholic stepfather, Shannon Hannan's "Living Under a Rock" is detailed and simply told. A bit hard to read, both because of the content and the slow-paced writing style. However, this could be a good source of encouragement for others who've experienced similar circumstances.

Five Star ***** Review!

This book is overall a great read! I saved this book to read on my vacation. I didn't want to put the book down.

Since I grew up in the late 60-70's, I could definitely relate to the lives of Shannon, his brothers and mother. It brought back many sibling memories for me. I have not grown up with alcoholism in my family, so it was a little upsetting to read about some of the abuse that the family lived through. Author Shannon Hannan’s writing style keeps you connected to the story line and you wont want to put this book down either. I would recommend this book! Thanks!
