I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I have to say that this is the first time I have read anything by this author and I absolutely loved it! Action, adventure, magic, shapeshifter etc. it is all here! This book is full of characters that just keep getting better and better as the story progresses. A must read!!!

Thieves World spawned several offshoot series, wherein characters who'd first flourished (or at least survived) the mean streets of Sanctuary ventured out into the wider world. This is one of several such adventures penned by Janet Morris, and they are rousing sword & sorcery. Good fun.
