A great read. I requested this book because I interviewed the author, and after finishing it, I'll definitely be checking out more of his work in the future.

I like this novel. I felt as if I wanted certain things to happen and I never knew which way it would go. Very unique premise.

Humorous, world weary people coming to terms with their worlds the best way they know how, Never been to the area but seemed realistic and enjoyed the characters.

I received a free electronic copy of this novel from Netgalley, Michael Reed, and Black Rose Writing in exchange for an honest review. Thank you all, for sharing your hard work with me.

Songs from Richmond Avenue is a laugh a minute retelling of life in Houston, Texas from the viewpoint of young transplants. After spending 30 years on the outskirts of this enormous city,
I was able to sympathize and 'see' all the snarls and misconfigurations of this fine novel. I would recommend to anyone feeling left out of their current social situation - it could certainly be worse. Michael Reed is an author I will watch.
