The first novel in the Extinction Cycle series.
EXTINCTION HORIZON is a fast-paced military/horror thriller. It reminded me of Adam Baker's Outpost series - although there are plenty of things that are different, it's perhaps the best comparison I could think of.
If you're looking for something gripping, action-packed, and unsettling, then give this a try.
