Lori Foster’s stories have me coming back for more. She always has likeable characters with a great plot and story to keep you entertained. The Body Armor is my new favorite series by Lori. Incorporating hot alphas, instant chemistry and mysterious plots make for a perfect book.
Justice is big and badass with a death stare while Fallon is sweet and innocent. If not for Body Armor these two most likely would have never met but they are perfect for each other. These two were adorable together. I loved the instant chemistry and connection.
This story was cute and sexy with a mix of mystery and suspense. It had little angst with a mysterious plot and touching moments. I loved Justice’s sweet side with the woman in his life. It made him that much irresistible. I give kudos to Fallon for putting fear behind her and getting her life back.
I love how Lori blended together characters from her Ultimate Fighter series with this new series. We got to see some of our favorite fighter’s from Cannon’s gym. I look forward to more in this amazing series.

3 1/2 Stars. Justice was a MMA fighter and even though he won his last fight, he realized he could never be at the top of the heavyweight division, so he joined his friend Leese at Body Armour Security Agency as a bodyguard. Fallon is overprotected by her wealthy parents because her sister died in an accident and she was badly burned. At 25, Fallon wants to be more independent, so her parents agree as long as she has a bodyguard. Justice is hired for the job and there is an instant attraction between them. But is Fallon in danger because of her parents wealth or because of something else entirely?
This book is good, but I found it predictable. Justice is the typical good looking bad boy and Fallon is the shy virgin.
I received a copy from Harlequin through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

A solid story, likeable characters, and a well-paced story. Nothing new or revolutionary here, but if you enjoy the bodyguard/princess trope, you'll like this one.
Justice and Fallon bond after being forced in close proximity. Justice has the expected background considering his job, and also the expected baggage, as does Fallon. Somehow, though, Foster manages to make these characters and their relationship charismatic and interesting; I really did root for them from the beginning.
3.5 stars.

I received an ARC of Hard Justice by Lori Foster in exchange for an honest review; and honest, I shall be.
I have LOVED every book that I have ever read by Lori Foster. Justice and Fallon’s story was no different for me. I fell in love with Justice I think while reading the Ultimate series, then my adoration was strengthened tenfold just within the first chapter. I mean, right at the beginning with his intensity!
I nearly melted.
Any of you who have read some of my previous reviews, know that I am a squealer. I don’t mean a cute little squeal. I mean, I squeal and do a happy dance no matter where I am that causes very odd and sometimes disturbed looks from those around me. I’m pretty sure the little old lady sitting in line at the DMV thought I was possessed LOL. That was just within the first 3 chapters. Later that night I continued to disturb my furry baby (cat) and hairy baby’s (hubby) sleep. I regret nothing.
I LOVED this book. It is an absolute wonderful addition to the connected series by Lori Foster, all of which I bought in a kindle splurge that my husband couldn’t return. Bahahaha! I look forward to see what comes next. I do believe Miles and Brand will impress me as well.
In closing, read this book! In my opinion, you won’t regret it. Happy Reading!

Hard Justice
Body Armor Series - Book 2
By Lori Foster
HQN - April 2017
Contemporary Romance
Hard Justice is the second story in Lori Foster's Body Armor series. This new series follows Ms Foster's Ultimate series and is tied to additional ones. If you want to read everything in order, start with her SBC series, then read the following, Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor series, Love Undercover series, the short story Hard Knocks which is the prequel to the Ultimate series. Then comes the new Body Armor series.
Justice Wallington had begun to enjoy his new career. He had gotten out of fighting and was now protecting others. A good gig, especially if he liked the client. And boy did he like his new client. Fallon Wade was fun, attractive and unique. Rich, to be sure, but down to earth and simply wanting to be able to go out and experience life. Her father had hired him to protect her, but her plans consisted of doing, pretty much basic things most people her age had already done. Go to a bar, movies, shop, and so many more mundane activities. But Fallon's reactions to such simple pleasures were anything but mundane, and intrigued Justice all the more.
Fallon knew her father was being overprotective, but she didn't have the heart to make her parents worry. They had already been through so much, and if having Justice around to keep her safe kept them happy, then Fallon was more than willing to please. Especially since having Justice around made Fallon happy. Oh, she knew she would never be able to keep his interest, but he definitely was entertaining, had fascinating friends, and made her wish for things she knew she would never have. She knew he was there for her protection. She didn't need protection, but soon knew she needed him in her life.
Hard Justice was an entertaining romance between two people who initially seem such opposites. Fallon is rich, Justice, not so much. Fallon has been introverted, private, Justice has been a professional fighter. But they are both caring individuals who are dedicated to the people that they care about. I loved reading their story and seeing Fallon overcome her past. There were some fascinating secondary characters, and I am curious to see who is next in the Body Armor series.

Loved the story of Justice and Fallon in the latest Body Armor series by Lori Foster. Justice is a bodyguard assigned to protect Fallon by her overprotective parents. He tries to remain professional but Fallon is unlike anyone else he has ever known. Unfortunately, someone is out to get Fallon and Justice is determined to keep her safe. Sweet hot romance read!

Ah Justice. He's been around in several of Lori Foster's previous books. Always in the background. Book one in this series he stepped up a bit and now in this book he gets his chance to shine. He comes across as a bit of a doofus in previous books but now we get to find out who Justice really is. Finally getting to handle clients on his own Justice gets assigned Fallon Wade. Beautiful but innocent and with secrets. Job seems pretty easy until weird things start happening. Your left wondering if someone is messing with Fallon or are they messing with Justice. Just when i thought i knew what was happening something happened to make me doubt what i knew. I loved justice and Fallon together and seeing all the MMA guys from Justice's time as a fighter. Fallon's mother steals some good scenes and made me laugh a time or two. I liked book one but book 2 for me is much better. The series is really shaping up. I can't wait to see who is up next in this series.

If you would ask me to describe this book in one word, that word would be SWOON!
I had no idea that Justice could be so endearing, I loved his relationship with the women in his life and also the relationship he began to form with Fallon.
The book has this mystery element that I really liked, it kept me guessing throughout the whole book and that allowed me to get lost in the pages and finishing it sooner that I was comfortable with because I was really getting attached to the characters.
I was also pretty cool that we got to see little pieces from the Ultimate series.

A hero with a Mohawk and a sense of humor - I loved this story! Hard Justice is book 2 in a series, however it stands alone well. Lori Foster strikes a nice balance between action/passion/romance in this fast paced, entertaining read. Her characters speak with really clear voices and are layered and interesting. The dialogue is snappy and really seems to fit the characters and the situations. I really appreciate that Ms. Foster seems to make her sex scenes so integral to the plot, they never seem gratuitous. The bodyguard trope makes for a really compelling and entertaining series.

Hard Justice is book two in the Body Armor series. This book brings us bodyguard Justice's story.
Justice has taken on his first official major bodyguarding jobs but at first it seems little more than a babysitting mission. The target of his protection - Fallon - the seemingly overprotected adult daughter of rich parents. But there's more to the story than Justice knows and as he starts to gleen pieces of the past, he's also finding himself feeling more than a little protective - and not just in a work-motivated way.
Fallon has been through a lot in her short life, but she's also missed out on things. Her parents take worry and over-protectiveness to the extreme and she's allowed it for years, but now she's looking for a little freedom, a little independence and to get that she's got a new bodyguard; but Justice isn't at all what she expected and the more time she spends with him, the closer they grow.
The chemisty between these two is palpable - there's a definite pull between them from the moment their eyes met the first time. But Justice is struggling with doing his job the right way and not allowing himself to take advantage of his client, no matter the feelings he's developing. When there are signs there might be lurking danger, Justice's instincts force him to make his move on Fallon quickly and also force him to look further into where the risk is coming from.
Hard Justice was teh story of a couple who found their perfect match in each other, though neither was perfect. I loved how Fallon worked through her issues of rejection and opened up to Justice about her past - something she hadn't really done before. I really liked how these two worked together to figure out why the incidents were happening and coming up with a plan to put an end to it as well. The fact that Justice allowed help from not only Fallon - but other people he had a little bit of trust issues with showed just how important it was for him to see the danger taken away.
I loved getting glimpses of Justice's friends and seeing more about the body armor agency and look forward to reading future books in the series as they are a wonderful combination of romance and suspense.

This book is love at first sight, steamy, and sexy.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading them first:
Under Pressure (Body Armor, #1)
This is Fallon and Justice's story. Fallon has lead a sheltered life. But now she wants to experience all that she can. Her father has hired Justice who is a protector body guard for Body Armor. He needs to stick to Fallon and make sure nothing happens to her. After one night things get out of hand. Danger is lurking, Justice wants Fallon, and he needs to keep his hands off. Now they must come to an understanding about how she is going to be protected. Can Justice keep her safe? Will she still get to experience all the things she wants to? Who is after her? Can they figure it out before she is harmed? Or will she need more than just Justice’s brand of protection?
This story also pulled in some of the men from the Ultimate Series. Always nice to get a few updates on some characters we love and miss. I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

Hard Justice: A Steamy, Action-Filled Bodyguard Romance (Body Armor) is a sexy, hot book! After a tragedy, when she was younger, keeps her sheltered from society, she is ready to spread her wings. Her parents are worried for her and has hired a bodyguard for her. Justice is a former member of the MMA, and has decided to go into the bodyguard business. Justice helps her to spread her wings and experience everything that she wants. When her life is in danger, he is there to help her. I loved this book! All the MMA fighters are very HOT!!! I always enjoy reading about them. They always seem so tough, but when these women come into their lives, they are putty in their hands. I recommend this book and series. I give HARD JUSTICE 5/5 STARS.

Justice was a fantastic body guard and Fallon was so down to earth. Fallon had a history that left her with scars, but Justice was the man to get past them. This book had suspense and love, as well as a lovable cast of characters. We got to touch base with some old favorites and there were two possibilities for the next book. It really was a great story and I recommend it.

Foster’s latest novel (second in the Body Armor series) offers up delightful romance with a touch of suspense.
Justice Wallington’s latest assignment seems like a cake walk- but guarding Fallon Wade at the request of her wealthy, overprotective parents turns out to be more involved than he first expected. While trouble seems to follow Fallon, Justice finds that he’s in a bit of a bind himself- the mutual attraction between him and his client is impossible to resist!

Hard Justice is the second novel is Lori Foster's Body Armour series and she's certainly consistent. I gave the first novel in the series, Under Pressure, a 4.5 star rating, and I'm giving Hard Justice the same 4.5 star rating.
If you've read Under Pressure, you've already met the hero, Justice Wallington, an alpha hero MMA fighter who, knowing he's too competitive to settle for anything less than the championship, and is introspective to know he'll never achieve it, retires from cage fighting and is a fairly new hire at the Body Armour security agency.
His new assignment is to bodyguard wealthy, smothered and reclusive heiress, 24-year-old, Fallon Wade. He was hired by Fallon's father, a stern, overprotective, and wealthy man. At age 24, Fallon hasn't even had a beer yet, let alone taken a lover, never even been to bar, gone out dancing, or any of the other commonplace things most women do and have done by the time they're that age. Her former fiance, Marcus, so damaged her self-esteem and confidence when he discovered the secret she'd been hiding--the loss of her sister in a fire that left her physically and emotionally scarred, that, in addition to making her wary of ever having a normal relationship with a man, she's wary of even trying again, but when she sets her eyes on her new bodyguard--huge, hunky, mohawk-haired Justice, she's as fascinated by him as he is with her.
Justice is drawn to Fallon like a moth to a flame. She's small, timid, pretty and has big doe-eyes that draw him in--so they are most definitely an odd couple, but the contrast between the two works. Justice is a gentle giant when it comes to Fallon, yet he's large enough to be intimidating to the men who attempt to meet her. Fallon is a tiny bird, just trying to spread her wings, establish her independence, try new experiences and meet new people.
The threats to Fallon's safety, both the ones imagined by her wealthy parents, and the actual ones that are real enough when it comes to her family home being vandalized, the ex-fiance who wants her back, someone pushing her down a flight of stairs, the MMA fighter, Tomahawk ("Tom"), who can't accept that Justice beat him in a cage fight and wants a rematch, and the two obnoxious, gambling brothers who want to bet on that rematch, form the basis of the plot that propels this novel forward. While the plot isn't the strongest or most angst-ridden one I've ever read, the real charm of this novel is the budding relationship between Fallon and Justice, the gentle way he protects her, his willingness to risk his job to pursue a relationship with her, their sexy times together, and Fallon's introduction to his family, all of which make this novel well worth the price of admission.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel, despite a couple of small issues, the main one being Justice escorting Fallon out of her home for the first time by saying, "Ladies first," something no protective bodyguard would ever do, but, since I was voluntarily reading an advance reader copy, I hope that little glitch was caught in the final edit. Finally, I'm loving this series so far, and cannot wait to see which of the many characters I've met will be featured in Ms. Foster's next Body Armour novel.

Fallon Wade wants only to spread her wings and to appease her overly protective parents she allows them to hire a bodyguard to help her enjoy life. She was pleasantly surprised with her father's choice. He's a former MMA fighter now a member of the Body Armor Agency and he is yummy. She never imagined getting a chance to live a little would bring her such a HARD JUSTICE and so much fun.
Justice Wallington gave up the cage fighting, not because he didn't have the skills but knew he wasn't champion material, so he turned to Body Armor and in turn to Fallon. Expecting a spoiled rich girl, ready to throw temper tantrums to get her way he is very amazed; she is level headed, down to earth, and innocent in a number of life experiences. After being fired by her father and then rehired, Justice wants to help Fallon enjoy life. His main problem is ... separating his feelings from those of a body guard to the way he is really feeling. Because truth be known one thing that Fallon inspires in him is love.
As always with books by Lori Foster I run out of adjectives to describe them and HARD JUSTICE has me tongue tied. I loved it. I loved Justice and adored Fallon. I loved that Ms. Foster brought back the boys from her past series' and their wives and children. I mean what better place to be than with the guys at Rowdy's bar and go on a “date” to see Stack fight in the cage.
I won't say what the danger is or from where it comes from, you will have to read HARD JUSTICE to find that out, but I will say it fit well with the scheme of this whole story line. The dialogue between this couple, their friends and family members is so realistic it was like listening to real people discussing everyday life. I did enjoy the slow pace of the romantic side of this storyline as it built up, sometimes you just have to feel the tension to know that this couple has earned each other. Romance readers have no fear the love comes and wraps them both up beautifully as is expected by this author. If you are looking for sweet, steamy, action packed, with everyday interactions and camaraderie then HARD JUSTICE is the book for you.

Hard Justice is the second title in the Body Armour Series. I really enjoyed the first book in this series, Under Pressure but in my mind Hard Justice completely surpassed the previous book.
Justice and Fallon's story was a heartwarming read with the perfect blend of romance, intrigue suspense and heat. It was really a quite sweet and lovely story with a unique plot and twists and turns that kept me completely enthralled and intrigued with the story line.
Fallon is an intriguing, yet endearing character. She is sincere, sweet, innocent, yet guarded and she has secrets. She is desperate for fun and craves independence from her over protective parents who keep her quite sheltered. Fallon's character is completely relate-able with her insecurities and self conscious thoughts, that most women can definitely relate to.
Justice is a former MMA fighter and appeared in the first title. This character definitely piqued my interest and I couldn't wait to read his story. Justice is an honest character, who tells it like it is. He's a big, bad-ass gentle giant with a heart of gold, who is stubborn, well meaning, loving and caring.
This pair are inexplicably drawn together, despite their very different backgrounds. Their relationship is a slow burn, that starts with a friendship, built on trust and understanding. I loved the chemistry between this pair, and the banter this pair share which is fun, flirty and at times has elements of humor.
It was lovely to see the characters that appeared in the previous title and in the Ultimate series, appear so frequently in this book.
I really adored this fun, sweet and sexy book, and cannot wait for more of this series. Hard Justice is an enthralling, engaging and entertaining read that I thoroughly recommend to lovers of contemporary romance or romantic suspense.

Hard Justice is the second book in Lori Foster's Body Armor series and after meeting Justice in the first book I was definitely interested to read more about him. Lori Foster always manages to focus on the main couple in a story while giving you tasty tidbits about secondary characters that keep you coming back to learn more about them.
Justice wasn't quite what I was expecting-he was much more fun. He attempts to resist being attracted to Fallon but there's definitely chemistry between them from the very first page. Justice was different than the first hero in this series, which I think it important. Yes, he's ex-MMA and a bodyguard but his personality is different. He was a bit more of your average guy-in my opinion-with a big heart. I liked that he stayed true to himself while dealing with Fallon's somewhat snobby family, that he wasn't trying to impress them by being something he wasn't.
Fallon is a more sheltered heroine than I'm used to reading-and because of that I had a bit of a hard time connecting with her initially. I didn't understand exactly why her parents wanted her to be guarded, but if I HAD to be guarded I wouldn't mind having Justice as my bodyguard. Fallon did grow and flourish, coming out of her shell a bit and so I did like her even if it took me a bit to connect with her.
There was chemistry between these two from the start. From the moment the two speak to one another alone for the first time you feel it. It didn't feel forced in any way and I enjoyed watching them come together.
I enjoyed getting to peek back at old characters from the first book, but if you haven't read it you can still enjoy this book. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

With the second book in the Body Armor series, Hard Justice brings us the story of Justice Wallington and Fallon Wade. Right from the beginning we see that this is not going to be your "typical" bodyguard job- there weren't any threats to Fallon's life, no one was out to get her, and quite honestly I was a little confused as to why exactly she needed a bodyguard. To me it felt more like an date-for-hire kind of situation- her parents wanted someone to be there with her as she ventured out into the world, to experience things that as a 24 year old you would have already expected her to have experienced. It's apparent Fallon has led a very sheltered life- she's never been to a bar, or out dancing, or done any numerous things most 24 year olds take for granted. In the beginning I found the way her parents coddled and treated her to be a little off putting, and very old-fashioned. As the story went along and we find out more as to why she's been treated this way it was a little easier to accept.
Where Fallon is naive and innocent, Justice is everything you'd expect to find in a Lori Foster leading man- caring, protective, strong, dominate, commanding. He's not what you'd call refined, and next to Fallon and her parents that was quite apparent. But Justice is not one to stand on appearances so he doesn't let this hinder how he does his job, or as time goes on, his feelings for Fallon. He's very patient and tender with Fallon, allowing her to set the pace once he makes it known to everyone that there's more between them than just bodyguard and employer.
Hard Justice was not what I expected, when it came down to the storyline, and that was a nice surprise. Overall I enjoyed the mystery in this one, and without giving away the twist, I will say there were times the bodyguard needed a bodyguard. I loved how once again we're treated to appearances by many of the Ultimate gang, and how they jump right in when needed. Ms. Foster did a great job keeping me on my toes, not knowing what to expect next.
