I am loving this Body Armor series! Justice has always been a colorful character with his brightly colored faux-hawk in the cage. Although he has toned it down a bit to work at the agency, he is still a prime male specimen with the same alpha protective, gentle giant characteristics that the other fighters possess unless duty requires a stronger response.
Fallon's parents are a bit stunned when he arrives but Fallon is intrigued. She has been fairly isolated at times over her life due to her father's status and wealth, and it only became worse over the past 5 years since tragedy struck the family. Now she wants to try to start experiencing so many things that she has missed out on, and Justice is going to keep her safe while she does it.
Initially it seems as though her parents are just being overprotective, and it is clear Fallon has been very sheltered and is innocent in many ways. But she has a sensual side that stirs up all kinds of inappropriate feels in the big guy that have no place in a professional relationship. When threats suddenly appear to be real, Justice's protective instincts are firing on all cylinders and close proximity breeds some very unprofessional sparks!
It took a few chapters for me to start warming up to Fallon, but then I started to enjoy the easy banter between her and Justice. She may come from a wealthy family but she is down to earth and values some of the simplest things in life. She fits in well with the Justice's extended family of the fighters and their significant others too, and I always enjoy seeing more of Cannon, Armie, Stack, Denver, Leese and other favorites from past books too.
Hard Justice has some heart pounding moments on both the danger and sexy scales, and it kept me turning the pages so that I finished it in one sitting. I can't wait to see what comes next!

I actually had a hard time with this cover. I was thinking, dude this isn't how I picture Justice. The deeper I got into the story, I was like okay now it make sense. Now to get the good stuff of Hard Justice. We learn that Justice is still having a hard time coping he's no longer MMA fighter. He still believes he has some fight in him, but he knows he's never going to be a great one. He's slowly accepting the fact that he's going to be a bodyguard. Now he's getting to his second assignment which involves Fallon Wade.
Justice is trying ever so hard to keep it all professional, but he seems something in her. However, he's trying to have the hands off in his mind. While Fallon is trying to spread her wings cause she's led a shelter life. At first they have a communication issues. He's trying to do his job, while she wants to have fun. On top of that Fallon is trying to find herself, because she hasn't much experience in life. The one time she did, well, it didn't go too well.
I adore Justice, because deep down he's a big ol' teddy bear that can kill if needed. Fallon is so sweet and innocent. I enjoyed Hard Justice. I'm excited about this series. I like that you see the guys come help Justice when he needs a little more help. Overall, I thought this was a pretty good read, and I can't wait for more.

Hard Justice has all of the suspense and the romance that I've come to expect when I read a Foster novel!

Justice is definitely my favorite so far!!! If someone could tell me where to find a man like Justice for myself, I'd greatly appreciate it lol. Justice is hired by a wealthy couple to protect their very sheltered daughter, Fallon, who wants to get out and become independent from her parents and finally experience life. Justice is not what Fallon expected when she learned her parents hired a new bodyguard, he's a gorgeous muscular giant with a fauxhawk, not the usual stuffy guys in suits. Fallon has a list of things she wants to do and experience, things normal people take for granted but thinks her parents are overreacting by hiring Justice, she's in no danger. Justice has to continually remind himself not to cross professional boundaries with Fallon, her innocence and wide-eyed wonder for the little things most people take for granted is an irresistible draw and soon Justice realizes his and Fallon's feelings are more important then professional boundaries. As their personal relationship starts heating up, the nonexistent danger to Fallon becomes more of a reality as little incidents start to occur. Justice has the most important fight of his life trying to solve the mystery of who wants to hurt Fallon and why. Justice is so sweet, gentle, sexy and romantic with Fallon, he was also really funny and alpha, all at the same time lol, it's like he was the epitome of my perfect man. Fallon really grows into herself and I enjoyed watching her confidence and independence bud throughout the story. They were the perfect couple. I can't wait for more of this series!!!

4.5 It's Not What I Expected Stars!!!
I've been reading Lori Foster books for a long time and you'd think that I'd know what to expect from her. This is one of those books that I got more than I was expecting and am so happy to say it's another winner from Ms. Foster and for this series.
This book is Justice's story and his assignment to protect Fallon a 24 year old young woman that we come to find out is quite naive...wasn't really sure why she needed the guarding, but we do find out and it all makes sense.
Talk about opposites attracting. Justice is a man that has a completely different background than Fallon but in a way these two make sense. He has the need to protect and he's good at it, and Fallon needs to have someone who'll let her feel her way into new situations without letting her get hurt or having the situations get out of hand. Of course a lot of the time they spend together is in her "world" which is quite wealthy, not something Justice is used to.
This story was so wonderfully written. I loved the pace, the character development. I became invested in both their lives and wanted them so desperately to find their way to each and making their happily ever after a reality and not a dream. Bravo to Ms. Foster for another winner!

This one was just plain fun. I read it in a single day. I stayed up until 2 am to finish. Admittedly, not on a “school night”. But still. One day. Because I couldn’t put it down.
And it proved that all of my fears about the series, after my read of Under Pressure, were totally and completely unfounded.
Like Under Pressure, Hard Justice is also a variation on the classic theme of The Bodyguard, where the guard and his protectee fall head over heels for each other. But this is one where we really do see them both fall, not just succumb to the intensity of being on the run together, because they aren’t. On the run, that is. They definitely fall for each other.
There is a bit of a mystery in this story, but it isn’t any of the expected ones. At first, Justice Wallingham can’t figure out who or what Fallon Wade needs to be protected from. Her uptight parents, particularly her father, seem to be adamant that Fallon needs to be protected from pretty much everything and everyone in the universe.
Fallon, on the other hand, is a surprisingly down-to-earth 24-year-old who just wants a chance to finally experience the things that people her age normally do, or have done. The reason for all that overprotectiveness isn’t obvious, except for the continuing reappearances of Fallon’s douchebag ex, Marcus, a guy who can’t seem to take “no” for an answer.
And can’t seem to overlook the scars that Fallon hides under her all-covering clothes. Marcus is just sure that their shared backgrounds make them perfect for each other, and that any man would be put off by her scars. He’s sure that he’ll get used to them in time, if he makes an effort. Of course he’s wrong on all counts.
Justice, on the other hand, wants to flatten the guy from the word go. Because Fallon’s scars, and her survival of the trauma that caused them, make her even more precious, and more beautiful, in his eyes. Which he’s having an increasingly difficult time keeping on the lookout for possible threats, because he’s too busy just watching Fallon.
Until it starts looking like someone is really out to get her. Or him. Or possibly both.
Escape Rating A-: It may be a case of the right book at the right time, but I just plain loved this one. Sometimes books are like that.
Part of the charm of this series, and the Ultimate series that it spun off from, is the rowdy bunch of fighters, and their wives, who make up the close-knit group who live, work, and train in or near Cannon’s gym in small-town Ohio. It’s always great to see the gang again, and find out how everyone is doing. They are great people and always wonderfully accepting of anyone new.
But the success of this particular book rests on the characters of Justice and Fallon, and their developing relationship. And they are absolutely adorable together.
One of the things I liked best about Hard Justice is the way that it set the woman in danger trope on its head. There’s an unfortunate tendency in romantic suspense, and it applied to both Under Pressure and several of the titles in the Ultimate series, that the way to put a woman in jeopardy and in need of protection is to give her a creepy sexual predator stalker, whether the asshat is her ex or just someone who is fixated on her. I am really, really tired of that trope, because it always ends up robbing the woman of her agency.
Hard Justice was fun because it doesn’t go there. Even better, it makes you think it’s going there, and then it actually doesn’t. Marcus does turn out to be a bit of a douche, but not that big of a douche. Instead, the real villains were revealed as a bit of a surprise, and the motives for threatening Fallon were not sexual. For this reader, the story worked much better this way.
I can’t wait for the next book in this series, which looks like it’s going to be Close Contact, coming in November.

As a longtime reader of Lori Foster, Hard Justice is a wonderful reminder why I continue to pick up her books.
Hard Justice is the second Body Armor book. Justice Wallington is a fighter turned body guard and his new client is Fallon Wade. I really enjoyed the opposites attract trope. Add in a few twists and the pages kept turning.
I'm looking forward to reading more of Foster's Body Armor series. I very much enjoyed how she mixes the MMA characters with the security agency. It is always fun to catch up with previously read characters.

Fallon is very sheltered. She is trying to spread her wings but her parents will only let her if she is protected due to something that happened to her in the past. Justice is her sexy protective bodyguard that is intrigued by the unique contrast that is Fallon. She is adventurous but cautious. She is innocent but curious. She is open to new experiences but somewhat held back by her past. These two have good chemistry and they have the opportunity to explore it while working together.
I enjoyed the story because the connection between the characters felt genuine. The plot was interesting though it could've done with a little more insight into the antagonists. The book fit well with the current series and brought with it some cameos from characters in the Ultimate series. The previously established characters felt true to how they were portrayed in their own books.
The writing was strong and the pacing on point. Safety: No others for either, though Fallon has an ex featured in the story. No rape. Yes to abuse.
ARC received in exchange for an honest review.

HARD JUSTICE is the second installment in Lori Foster’s contemporary, adult BODY ARMOR erotic, romance series focusing on the men and women of the Body Armor Security Team. This is former MMA fighter Eugene ‘Justice’ Walington, and interior designer/heiress Fallon Wade’s story line. The BODY ARMOR series is a spin off from Lori Foster’s MMA romance series ULTIMATE. Several of the Ultimate characters cross-over for cohesion and familiarity. You do not have to have read the previous series to understand or follow Body Armor.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Justice and Fallon) HARD JUSTICE focuses on the building relationship between bodyguard Justice Wallington and sheltered heiress Fallon Wade. Fallon is a twenty four year old young woman who has been sheltered from the outside world for several years following a tragedy that all but destroyed her family and her life. Enter Justice Wallington, a bodyguard from the Body Armor security agency, and the man with whom Fallon will fall in love. When a series of accidents and threats against our couple becomes personal, Justice and his fellow Body Armor and Ultimate MMA fighters set up a sting to take down the people responsible for threatening their lives. What ensues is the building love between Justice and Fallon, and Justice’s struggle to keep separate business and pleasure.
The relationship between Justice and Fallon begins as a business arrangement by Fallon’s father. Hoping to protect his daughter from everything and everyone, Fallon’s father hires Justice Wallington, then immediately fires him when things don’t go according to plans. Throughout the story Justice views Fallon more than a job but a woman that calls to his heart. The $ex scenes are intimate and seductive without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.
There are a large number of secondary and supporting characters including Leese Phelps and Catalina Nicholson (Under Pressure #1), MMA fighter Tom ‘Tomahawk’ Nelson who wants a do-over with Justice, fighters Brand and Miles, Fallon’s ex boyfriend Marcus, Fallon’s parents, Justice’s mother and grandmother, and the boss and owner at Body Armor Sahara Silver. Several members of the Ultimate MMA fighters cross over for cohesion and familiarity. The requisite evil has many faces.
The world building looks at the family and friendships between the Ultimate MMA and Body Armor security guards; the fights, the fighters, and the camaraderie; the loves, the laughter and the happily ever afters. The premise is moving; the characters are realistic and tangible; the romance is a quick build to love and forever. HARD JUSTICE is a provocative look at one woman’s struggle to move on with her life.

This is actually a cute, sweet book. Justice had preconceived ideas on his new assignment, Fallon. Once he met her he found out he was so wrong but it in a good way.
Justice is actually a very sweet man. He still has the body from his fighting days and Fallon can't help but notice it. I especially loved the way he was with his mom and grandma and how he treated them. He also always does the right thing no matter what.
Fallon just wants to be normal and her dad is crazy protective of her. I can understand his feelings after everything they've been through but he needed to loosen up.
I loved seeing everyone from the Ultimate Series and I can't wait to see what happens in the next book of this series.

"Amazing how something so wrong could feel so right."
I was so excited when I found out that Justice's book was next! He was such a great character in Under Pressure.
Now getting to see his story, makes me love him even more!
He might have been hired to protect Fallon from any threats, but he had no way of protecting her heart...or his.
"Beautiful, sexy and a real sweet-talker. Damn, Fallon, could you be more perfect?"
"I'm not perfect. You know that."
"Close enough to level me."
In great Lori Foster fashion, she takes us on a ride full of suspense, drama, sexiness, and love.
All wrapped up in a wonderfuly written package!
Justice and Fallon fight their attraction at first. It would go against proticol to fall in love with a client. But the heart wants what the heart wants.
No denying that.
I loved every twist and turn in this book.
I'll admit, I didn't know where the story was going to go because it was twisted in such a way that you never knew what was coming next.
It was amazing!!
"You're beautiful ."
"Justice..."
"Every part of you, Fallon. I'm going to keep saying it until you believe it."
Not only was this an epic love story, but it was also a story about finding yourself again.
Fallon has went through so much in her life. She still deals with her past every single day. She carries the burden of bad decisions on her back constantly. Justice helps her realize how amazing she is.
I honestly loved every aspect of this book! I'm so in love with these characters! I couldn't get enough!
I can't wait for the next Body Armor story!!
"He'd had many fights, but this would be the biggest fight of his life because this time, there was more on the line than recognition in a sport he loved.
Regardless of the risk, he couldn't stop smiling."

Book #2 in the Body Armor Series is a vast improvement over #1. We have hot, insta-lust coming off both H/h, a mystery that is slow to reveal itself and secrets that will take time to uncover. I just LOVE it! Nothing is as it seems and Justice has his job cut out for him protecting Fallon and at the same time keeping his hands off her.
Fallon, poor, little, rich girl. At 24 her overprotective parents have agreed to allow her some freedom but have hired Body Armor operative, Justice, to protect her. After their first "date" Justice has to dispatch 3 street thugs who try a purse snatch and gets fired. There is a really good reason for the overprotection, but the book is slow to reveal it. Fallon's family suffered a tragedy five years ago when her sister died. All Fallon wants to do is live a normal life and she wants to start doing that with Justice.
Justice was a good MMA fighter, but not great. When his friend, Leese, left the fight world for Body Armor he encouraged Justice to give the personal protection thing a try. Justice has finally found something he is great at. When he is hired to protect Fallon it all the willpower he can muster to keep his hands off her. Client, innocent, inexperienced. Those three things make her as taboo as a woman could get. But, Justice can tell himself that all he wants, the heart wants what the heart wants and Justice's heart (and body) want Fallon.
When acts of vandalism and other strange things start happening, Justice begins to think that there is something more then overprotectiveness to the Wade's concern for their daughter.

Lori Foster has done it again. With this latest installment of the Body Armor series she delivers a new favorite book boyfriend and a heroine I wanna be friends with! Justice has retired while on top from the MMA and is transitioning into his role as bodyguard. Fallon is struggling to break free from her sheltered home and a painful family secret. When her wealthy family hires Justice to guard her she's dreading the intrusion. Soon they find a way to work together and then it becomes more. As Justice comes to find the threat to Fallon is real he realizes his feelings for her are too. I loved watching as this definite alpha helps Fallon come into her own with tenderness and calm. And laughed and cried as Fallon learned to be her true self. A great love story come to life!! I highly recommend all of Lori Foster's books and especially this great addition. An awesome stand alone that will make you want to pick up the series.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This one has some great humor in it, a bit of heartbreak with Fallon's past and of course some suspense to keep the reader on their toes. Add in the chemistry between Justice and Fallon and we have a winner! Loved this one! Here's to hoping the series continues to blossom from here!

Justice Wallingham thinks that he is just going to guard heiress Fallon Wade but little does he know that she will made this assignment a fun adventure. Fallon is finally to spread her wings and Justice is just the man to experience life for the first time. One is adventure is visiting Rowdy's Bar (Getting Rowdy) where she meets Justice's MMA friends Cannon and Armie. I will say that there is a hint of suspense where Justice saves the day and does get the girl.
Lori Foster seems to always write exceptional books and let's just say I would love for Justice to be my bodyguard. This is the 2nd book in the Body Armour Series but it does have characters from some of her other series which makes this a fun read.

4.5 Stars
This is the second book in the series. I highly recommend giving this series a read because you'll fall in love with it and won't be disappointed. I loved Justice. I loved how he was with Fallon, that just made him even more attractive. Justice is going to be tested to his limits when it comes to his new assignment Fallon because the attraction he feels for her is flaring hot! Fallon is not the stereotypical heiress much to Justice's surprise. What I loved about her is her heart. She is dealing with a tragic past that has left scars on her, but Justice makes her feels whole and that is truly beautiful. After reading this I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Potent sex appeal at it's best! Really loving this series by Lori Foster. Former MMA fighters turned bodyguards ... they bring the lethal edge of power that their bodies exude, along with the steamy, raw passion they put into their work, as well as their women. Generally nice guys that warm up the pages! Looking forward to more to come!
Justice Wallington left his career in MMA fighting to join his buddy Leese Phelps as a bodyguard at the Body Armor Agency. He's really enjoying his job, but he's not sure how to read this latest assignment. There seems to be no danger, but extremely over-protective parents to a not so young daughter.
Fallon Wade suffered a huge tragedy and her parents sheltered her from as much of life as they could afterwards. She adores them and they her, but she really is ready for her chance to live ... and just breathe! She just wants to try the simple things ... a drink, talking and mingling with people in public, going to the movie, etc.
Justice doesn't expect to feel drawn to her, but she's a really kind person, and she just touches something in him without even trying. The fondness and attraction is very mutual ... and Fallon begins to blossom under the new experiences she is sharing with Justice. When actual danger comes knocking, will he be able to keep his personal feelings in check while he keeps her safe?

Have I mentioned that I love Lori Foster's novels? Her series', her characters, her writing have always captured me since I was a teen sneaking her books. Every one of her fighters has been larger than life but also the sweetest and that is what makes me fall in love with each of them and their stories.
After we met Justice in Under Pressure, I knew he was my guy. At least more than Leese was. And how right I was! Each of these fighters is a tough guy with a heart but Justice just was a little more sensitive. He was tentative with Fallon but at the same time challenging her. And Fallon had already determined that she wanted out of this bubblewrap world her parents have kept her in. And after meeting Justice, she really wants to get out of the box she's been in. And after meeting the other fighters and seeing their camaraderie, she flourishes.
I can't wait to see which fighter's story is next. I'm hoping it's Miles. We met him here and just had enough of a teaser of him.

My expectations for Justice's story were high, and Lori Foster delivered on every single wish and hope I had towards the HEA I wanted and dreamed for Justice. Dare I say over exceeding them?! I'm in a serious book haze here, but I try not to blubber too much. But when a story has sweet, adorable love by a tough as nails former MMA fighter turned bodyguard, when there's grandma who is full of sass, friends and family who are willing to stand by you and for you, there's passion, love, devotion, action, danger, professional fighting, deranged stalker, and so many moments of adoration that had me swooning and seeing hearts - I guess the blubbering and a bit haze is understandable.
Justice Wallington is the ultimate dream. He is so genuine, solid, caring, and protective man who loves and respects the elderly and takes care of his mom and grandma when needed. He says what is in his mind, he doesn't put on smoke and mirrors to anyone, what you see is what you get. I loved him, loved him in the previous books and now more than ever. He is the ultimate dream, indeed.
And Fallon Wade is the perfect woman for Justice. Fallon is a lot like Justice when it comes to personality and values, there's not an iota of a rich princess in her, she cares about people around her, is considerate and sweet, and lacking a lot of experiences in life. She has scars, both emotional and physical, that had hindered her to live fully, and Justice is more than willing to fulfill every dream and wish she ever had. I loved the chemistry between Fallon and Justice as it was so natural yet scorching hot. The love and passion between them were touching and captivating, the way they finally came together was so beautiful I think it was the first time ever I had tears in my eyes during a love scene.
The plot is built in a clever way, it pulls you into the world of the characters, and builds up, escalating the tension and the development of the relationship so that it was impossible to put down once I started it. The threat and danger turn out to much more than expected and soon there are lives in danger and hearts in peril. Yet the best part of it all was that Justice was more than willing to give his heart and risk his life for Falon and a future together. Absolutely loved Hard Justice, savoring every moment yet racing to the end to be able to cheer for Justice and Fallon.
~ Five Spoon

Holy hot pants Batman Hard Justice was a-freaking-mazing! If this book could have even possibly been better I would have never gotten out of a book hangover. Seriously amazing.
Fallon Wade has been through a lot, but at the same time she hasn’t. She’s never had a beer or been dancing. Her whole life she’s been sheltered and protected by her family. Now that her family is firing a personal bodyguard for her, everything is about to change. She’ll be safe to explore the world the way she was never able to do. Then she meets Justice Wallington and she knows her world is about to change in more ways than one. Now she gets to explore more than just the world but Justice too.
Justice Wallington is an ex-fighter turned bodyguard. When he gets to new assignment to be a babysitter to an heiress he thinks this case is pretty straightforward. Except things are becoming super complicated for him now that he’s met Fallon. She’s not spoiled or snotty and she understands him. When Fallon’s life gets threatened Justice will do any and everything to keep her safe.
Okay first off this story was amazing. I seriously am hitting myself over the head for not reading Lori Foster’s books earlier. I like them a lot.
Justice and Fallon start off as bodyguard and client. Very quickly they become friends, and then more than that. I like that the two of them actually date and it’s not just about sex. In the previous book(s) I’ve read by Lori Foster, she did an excellent job of making sure the characters had relationships that were realistic and not too quick. Now that’s not to say there were some very sexy hot scenes in here, because seriously, there were, but that wasn’t the entire focus of the book. That being said bring a fan with you when you’re reading.
Justice is a super great character. I liked that he grew throughout the story to find what he loved about not being a fighter anymore. He had depth beyond fighting and being a sexy hero. He loves his family and that plays out in the book. He’s super protective, and strong, but also smart. I like that his friends were in this story and weren’t just some play boys while Justice was the first to settle down. His story felt real and had multiple layers like a real person would.
Fallon’s story was a little more of a mystery. I think Lori Foster did a great job of laying down clues as to what was going on with her, but she let me think on it for a little bit instead of giving it away immediately. I really enjoyed Fallon’s character. She was sweet and naive without being dumb or completely out of touch with how the world truly is. I loved how she grew throughout the story and that she had a strong will to do anything she set her mind to.
Seriously loved this book. Multiple POV switching mostly between Justice and Fallon and sometimes you get two other characters, but it’s supposed to add to the story so it’s not distracting. The characters were amazing and had depth. The sexy scenes were steamy, and the romance was adorable. Lori Foster’s writing is beyond amazing and I am seriously adding all of her books to my MUST-READ list ASAP.
