Justice Wellington is still figuring out his place at the Body Armor agency when he's assigned to guard Fallon Wade. Although there are no specific threats against her, her ultra-rich, ultra-protective parents want a body guard with her when she takes some time off work. Fallon's been mostly hidden from the world after a family tragedy and just wants to experience a little life as a normal young woman: going to bars, dancing, visiting street fairs. She's not so sure about dragging a heavyweight ex-MMA fighter around with her, but she and Justice hit it off right away. When seemingly innocent accidents turn into danger impossible to ignore, it will take Justice, Body Armor, and their MMA friends to keep Fallon safe.

Lori Foster hits it out of the park again in her second Body Armor novel. The attraction between Justice and Fallon is immediate and magnetic. Fallon is not just sheltered, she has little confidence in herself and it was wonderfully sweet watching Justice help her blossom as a person. It was also great to get to see Justice in the main role and come into his own. He tries to learn from watching Leese in Under Pressure and balance to role of body guard with his developing feelings for Fallon, even trying to quit so that he can date her.

You would think that two such nice and regular people wouldn't have anyone potentially trying to kill them, so the fact that you spend most of the book debating between three or four suspects is a little alarming. Who's behind the vandalism, Fallon's accidents, and trying to set Justice's car on fire (with him in it)? Should we be worrying about the new MMA fighter that Justice KO'd in his final fight and won't give a rematch? Fallon's jerk ex-boyfriend? The jerk ex-boyfriend's creepy "business" partners? Foster masterfully braids it all together so that any (or all) of them seem like viable suspects until the very end.

Readers new to the series and Foster's MMA world won't feel lost starting here and Foster devotees will enjoy seeing Leese, Cannon, Armie, and the rest of the fight club again in supporting roles. From main characters to supporting roles, everyone is believable and multi-layered. Hard Justice is a wonderfully written, fast-paced mix of romance and adventure that will grab you and not let go until the final page.

Lori Foster must have some kind of super power, because there is no other way she could deliver the exact type of heroine I've been aching for! Just one chapter in and I could already claim how much I love Hard Justice.

The second installment in Lori Foster's Body Armor series features fighter Justice Wallington and young, sheltered Fallon Wade. Justice is hired to protect Fallon as she explores the world she shut out after a traumatic incident 5 years ago. Even though Justice doesn't know Fallon's past, or what could possibly be a threat to her, he vows to protect her as if the danger were obvious. As the assignment moves along the dangers to Fallon become more apparent and Justice won't rest until the threat is neutralized.

The story moves quickly but Foster manages to show Fallon and Justice's relationship grow over the course of months. It may be attraction at first sight, but readers get to see how the two forge a deep bond. As Justice brings Fallon deeper into his world, she finds a sense of camaraderie with the other MMA fighters. The Body Armor series is a spinoff of Lori Foster's Ultimate series, so fans of that series will see a lot of familiar characters. I applaud her ability to create so many rich and realistic characters that all fit well inside this story. There's a nice line of tension between Justice and another fighter that keeps you on the edge just waiting for a brawl.

I haven't read the Ultimate series, something I must remedy immediately, but I can whole-heartedly say that fans of that series will enjoy the Body Armor series. Hard Justice is the kind of story that I'll read over and over again, because I love it and it'll always give me that little shiver of satisfaction when I finish.

I am throughly enjoying this spin off series from Lori Fosters Ultimate series. That series was my first foray into MMA based writing and I love that she is taking a turn and giving some of these guys a new life as bodyguards in an elite agency.

I quite enjoyed the first book in the series, we all know how nice it was to see Leese, bad boy (and not the good kind of bad boy...really just a bad. boy) the Hero in book 1, Under Pressure (click link to see my review) get his final redemption and HEA, but there was just something special about Justice and Fallon's story. I'll admit when I first met Justice in this book I thought 'oh crap, he's going to be a smart ass with a chip on is shoulder in this book.' but man I was so happy to discover my first impression was way off the mark. Justice is a truly sweet, kind, and loving Hero and Fallon, with her sweetness, insecurities and guilelessness, is the perfect Heroine for him.

I will admit that at times I found Fallon frustrating with how trusting she is and how 'proper' she believes she has to be. Allowing one character to continue to basically harass her out of some feeling of 'duty' or 'honor' bugged me. Justice had it right every time he tried to tell her to let him deal with the guy. Of course it all works out in the end but that doesn't stop the frustration when you are working through the story. On the other side of that frustration was a feeling of pride as we watch Fallon work to take her life back. After a horrific event her once 'hovering' parents become overbearing in their fear for her safety, and really while you can't blame them, they are honestly doing what every parent deep down wishes they could do in order to keep their child safe, they take their concern for her safety to the extreme which leads to Fallon being overly sheltered and at the age of 24 almost child like in her experiences. I loved that she fights to gain control over her life but at every turn she is still thoughtful and respectful to her parents feelings. It is not just about her being free but it is about them learning to let her go.

I'd like to say right now that I LOVED Fallon's mother. I kept thinking how like Justice I found her to be and then had that confirmed near the end of the story that made me want to punch the air and shout YES! While I am on the topic of 'family' I just have to mention Justice's grandmother....I want her in every book! Talk about a woman with pluck and spirit. I need her out there digging into everyone's business and bringing smiles to my face when things get tough. She was hilarious and I plain and simple did not get enough of her!

Not only do we get a sweet love story full of depth and character growth, Lori gives us the suspense I have come to expect from her stories, and I think that this time around this has to be one of the more devious plots to come out of this series or the Ultimate series. I will say I wish that we got more of an understanding as to why, other than the simple explanation of entitlement and arrogance. Maybe that's just my desire to believe that people can't be so horrible just because they feel like they have the right, that there has to be something deeper to their reasoning, it is simply hard to understand the I have the money so I have the right concept.

I love that we get so much time with the Ultimate characters, it always makes me smile to see their updates and the fact that Lori brings us back to them every book for that glimpse gives me major happy feels. I miss that group so much so it is wonderful seeing that their stories really haven't ended. We also get a big look into Miles who I am guessing has to be our next Body Armor story and man am I ever curious about his mysterious love interest. I am also wondering in the back of my mind if we may see Tomahawk as a hero in the future. I missed getting a little snippet about Sahara's brother...in the first book I got the impression that there is quite a story surrounding her brother so I kept looking for a maybe a little hint that something would be happening there, but nothing this book. Also, what is up with Sahara and Brand, *temples fingers together and hums with giddy curiosity*.

Hard Justice is a great addition to the Body Armor series, I am definitely hooked and anxious for more! If you love contemporary romance with an MMA background, if you love alpha guys who aren't asshole alphas but plain and simple alpha males who protect their community and the ones they love then you will love this series!

Hard Justice is the second book in Lori Foster's Body Armor series. It can be read as a standalone.
Fallon is a 24 year old woman who has been sheltered by her parents after the tragic death of her sister. She allowed this because she loves her parents. So when she finally decides it is time to explore new things, her parents hire her a bodyguard. In walks Justice, who is an ex MMA fighter now working for a security firm. There is instant attraction for both and both decide to ignore it. Fallon has had so little experience with men she just doesn't know what to do about it. Justice is because it is quite obvious they are from two different worlds.
Justice is determined to help her safely experience new things, but when he falls for her and she him, they both realize this may be harder than it looks. She wants to live life and explore all options and enjoy her freedom, and he just wants to keep her close.
I found this story enjoyable, although slow in spots. There were no real wow moments, or angst to deal with.

This is the first book by Lori Foster that I have read. It is the second in the Body Armor series. They are stand alones, so I wasn’t lost or confused or felt like I was missing anything by starting with the second book.

This is a series I will continue to read. What’s not to like? You have MMA fighters. Some are still fighters and some are now bodyguards.

Justice was a heavy weight fighter. He was good, but not good enough to ever be a champion. He loves being a bodyguard now for Body Armor Agency.

Fallon is his new client. She’s rich and has been sheltered. Her parents are way overprotective because of the loss of her older sister. She wants more independence, so she gets Justice to watch her back.

She starts to really live.

I loved how Fallon isn’t the typical rich person.

Throw in an ex that knows he messed up, a fighter that would do anything for a rematch and some idiots…this makes for a good story.

This was actually a really sweet book. Justice may look and act like a big, bad MMA fighter/bodyguard on the outside, but on the inside he has a heart of gold. Fallon was a fun character to watch blossom from mousey and timid to a vibrant young woman as she got to experience more of life.
These two were a lot of fun to watch together. Their chemistry was almost instant, but Justice's honor keeps them from acting on it. They were also surrounded by a fantastic supporting cast. Some are familiar faces that great to catch up with while others are new. Justice's Mom and Grandma are especially entertaining.
This is definitely another winner from the dependable Ms. Foster.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of Hard Justice by Lori Foster that I read and reviewed.
This book was full of romance and also had a sub plot of suspense that was also enjoyable. I loved the characters of Justice and Fallon together because they were complete opposites but they complemented each other so well they made this book extremely interesting.
I would highly recommend this book if you want a light hearted romance that has some edge to it as well. Hard Justice gets five out of five stars from me.

Every time Lori Foster comes out with a new book, I like it more than the previous one. They're just always so good. But guys, this is it. I've found my all-time favorite Lori Foster book, ever. Justice is perfect. I lost myself while I was reading this. I got so into the story, into Fallon and Justice's relationship, that this book just flew by. It's hard to explain, but I think this was the smoothest/most seamless Foster book I've read yet. Even if I wasn't too familiar with all the characters (I wasn't a dedicated reader until the Ultimate series), this still just flowed beautifully.

There was just enough suspense in this book to add an edge to Justice's job. It moved the story along, but it didn't overshadow the romance that was building. And you could actual feel these two coming together. These two are perfect together, and I just want to coo and gush all over them. If you're a long-time reader of Lori Foster's books, you'll be happy to see former characters show up and help out, or just hang out. And there's several more unattached characters I hope get their story soon!

Cover Lovin': Heck yes. And I appreciate that they went with a muscle-y cover guy, since Justice is definitely all muscles. Yum.

Recommendation: Hard Justice can be read as a stand alone. But you'll want to read Under Pressure because it's just so good.

Final Rating: FIVE out of FIVE stars (5/5)! Loved this, every second of it. I didn't want to put it down, and I'm desperate for more.

Hard Justice is the second book in the Body Armor Series and this time it's Justice's turn. Readers first met our intrepid, big, hulking hero but an all-around nice guy in the first book of the series. Justice has become very good in the bodyguard business but nothing has prepared him for his next assignment, Fallon Wade. Fallon at twenty-four doesn't really see the need for a bodyguard but her parents are very protective. One look at Justice, however, has her gladly accepting him as a bodyguard. Pretty soon, liking each other has started becoming so much more and the adventure has just started.

Hard Justice was a pretty fun and exciting ride! Both Justice and Fallon were very likable characters. Although there was the initial spark at first meeting it was the way their friendship develops that is the charm of the story. Mind you this is a Lori Foster book so it's definitely still action packed, sexy and with a little bit of mystery suspense. But it's definitely Justice and Fallon that makes Hard Justice a worthwhile read.

Justice has had a few clients but this is his first real bodyguard job babysitting a little rich girl. How hard can it be? And why is she so sheltered? Fallon seems to be very guarded and secretive. Even with Justice’s easy going manner, she doesn’t seem very will to confide in him. As they pretend to be in a relationship to make his protecting her easier, slowly it seems they are growing closer to developing a real one. Meanwhile, Fallon appears to really be in danger and Justice needs to figure out who is behind it and why.

“Crazy how such a simple touch from her affected him.

The kiss was a little wild in ways he hadn’t known were possible. He knew good old chemistry, but this was something else.

From a kiss.

Because of Fallon.”

I just adore Justice's sense of humor, family and pretty much everything about him. Fallon deserved a diamond in the rough like him. This bodyguard story definitely had some twists thrown in there that had me guessing what was going on. Tricky, tricky. But I enjoyed having my MMA fighter family join in and watched how Silver is luring them in...one by one. Besides my favorite fighter, Armie, I think Justice will hold a close second place in my heart. That guy has such a level head and great personality. I love pretty much every single thing about this series and the guys I can’t wait to see who the next bodyguard will be!

I can’t think of another series that has so many alpha males running around kicking bad guy butts and just hanging out and being there for each other. It always makes me smile to read about them cheering for each other during their MMA fights or protecting each other’s families. I’m sure if they were moving, they’d all be over picking up the couch or refrigerator. Those are the type of friends you want for life.

I am so delighted to return to Body Armor and the alpha men who protect. Let's not forget though the company is run by a woman! Justice has left MMA fighting and has found his calling protecting the rich and famous, but one small woman with a big heart is about to bring him down.

Review

When the story started, I will admit I was completely confused. We meet Fallon Wade when she has decided to come out of her cocoon of shelter she has built around herself. Hiring a bodyguard seems logical to help her start to experience life again. It takes time before you find out why she has sheltered herself and still living with her parents or in fact needs a bodyguard.

Justice is an awesome guy who looks extremely scary. He has retired from MMA fighting knowing he is good, but not the best fighter. Comfortable with that, he moves on to the next journey of his life at Body Armor. Taking his job very seriously, he keeps Fallon protected while also allowing her to spread her wings.

So when Justice left MMA fighting, he left on a high note with a knock out. The guy he knocked out wants a rematch. Pushy doesn't throughly explain how he goes about trying to get Justice to give him a rematch. Throw in that Fallon has an ex-boyfriend who isn't taking no as an answer. While he is pushy as well, he does seem to have a good heart with literacy for kids. Both of these worlds co-mingle into trouble for both the hero and heroine.

I will admit I almost put the book down early. Fallon is a strong young lady, but quite innocent. She's coming out of her shell, needs guidance, and isn't really ready for the force that is Justice. Sweet, innocent heroines are nice once and a while, but at the time of this story, I was getting kind of fed up with reading about them.

The suspense was awkward at best. Someone is causing problems, but so far nothing too bad. Just enough to bring up Justice's defenses. I suspected who it might be, but really didn't have a clue. That's what also got me because you couldn't get into the mind of the person doing this and why. It was all shaky getting to the bottom of things.

Justice is sweetly gentle, but also forceful as he comes to love Fallon. His honor is all in the right place not wanting to take advantage, but not ignoring the feelings that are overcoming him. I loved how he introduced Fallon to his family and friends. Again we get to see all the MMA fighters and some of the women. They wrapped Fallon right into the family. This is what I love about these characters.

When the story gets going, it gets good between the couple. I just didn't care for the suspense element and didn't feel it played out very well. Overall, I enjoyed this addition to the Body Armor series.

As a huge Lori Foster fan, I was thrilled to get my hands on her latest book, Hard Justice. In fact I have been dying to read it for weeks, but it's finally here and what better time to read it, but when I'm snowed in and can read it without interruption.

Fallon is an extremely sheltered young women, who just wants to experience a regular life, but in order to at least have a little freedom, her father insists on her having a bodyguard, but none of them expected a Mohawk tattoo former MMA fighter to turn up!

Justice was new to Body Armor, but he took his job seriously, but when he was fired by Fallons father for following protocol, Justice concern that Fallons protection would be substandard...and also he couldn't get that innocent, curious and sexy girl out of his head.

But when Fallons finds out Justice had been fired, she goes on the offensive and threatens to move out, unless he is hired back. Which if course he is, because after losing on daughter, her parents were determined to protect their only living child.

Then Fallons ex Marcus turns up and Justice sees fear in Fallons eyes, he knows there is a lot more than just a simple break up going on....but will Justice be able to keep her safe?

I will say this from the get go, Lori Foster knocked it out of the park with Hard Justice! I also loved seeing the old crew from her past books, but also meeting more characters from the Body Armor Agency.

The chemistry between Justice and Fallon was delicious and I loved the way that Fallons father had to grovel to Justice after his ridiculous firing. I honestly can't wait for the next installment of the Body Armor series!

I give Hard Justice 5 stars!

Let’s start with Fallon, have you ever seen the cute little puppy that has never seen snow? or rain and has that sort of awe moment when it first sees it? That reminds me of Fallon, sort of timid but rearing to go and trying anything! Fallon has been sheltered most of her life partially due to her wealth status and the other half due to some unfortunate past experiences. She has decided to get out there and experience life, however that comes with some stipulations on her parents parts. She must have a bodyguard with her anytime she leaves the house. However Fallon has some stipulations back, he must fit in, he can’t stand out. Whenever she finally gets a glimpse of her new bodyguard she almost looses her mind. Justice is not your typical body guard, he doesn’t dress like one and definitly doesn’t look like one. Now if she could only keep everything platonic between them things could go smoothly. At first I thought Fallon’s character was going to be to soft for me, however a couple chapters in I realized she was hiding all of her bravado behind her shyness. It all started creeping out once she got used to having Justice around. I loved how she started coming into herself more and more, some because Justice was making her braver, but mostly because she was stepping out on her own more.

Justice is a guy I have been dying to get closer to since the Ultimate series. Then in Leese’s book it clinched it I needed to get my hands on Justice’s book immediately. One look at Justice and most people turn and head the other direction. However underneath that hard stare and equally hard exterior is a soft fluffy teddy bear. Justice just wants to protect everyone, which is why he decided to become a bodyguard. Justice doesn’t seem to have many layers to him he is a very up front guy but I LOVED his patience with Fallon. He was an absolute doll with her. Taking his time letting her experience everything in her pace, at her time. The fact that Justice has such a hard exterior but is such an amazing man, just proves that Lori Foster writes amazing male characters. There is a turning point scene with Tomahawk (which I won’t spoil) that proves what amazing men these MMA fighters are.

I’m not sure how Lori Foster creates such amazing books time after time. Each book I read of hers is so fresh and so new. I love, love, love that characters from old books come back in newer books. Even if it’s only for a glimpse or for a whole chapter! The MMA brother hood that was created in the Ultimate series continues on in the Bodyguard series. The families that were created in the Undercover love series come in play during the Ultimate series as well as the SBC fighters. It’s amazing how she creates this giant web of families that interweave and always have each others backs!

I cannot get enough of these books, and the families that are in them. I don’t just mean the families within in each book I mean the giant web of non-blood related families that Lori Foster has created. She shared a little image that reminded her of Justice and Fallon I couldn’t resist sharing it too!!

I found myself charmed by this book from page 1. Fallon could have come off as the stereo-typical rich bitch, instead she was a normal woman who happened to be rich, one who seemed to find pleasure in the more mundane, normal things in life. I loved that from the start Justice saw more in Fallon and wanted to get to the bottom of why Fallon seemed so innocent. Their outings, while technically were work, allowed the two of them to get to know each other slowly. It was fun to see Fallon so excited about all of her new experiences, especially those that involved the fights and fighters, a very good thing as the fighters were important to Justice. Even Fallon and Justice's families got into things, both in their own ways. I could have done without the drama of who was after Fallon, mostly because I hated the why of it, so petty. I did like how Justice and the crew dealt with things, a very fitting way.

This was my first Lori Foster read and I can honestly say that I look forward to reading more from her. When I first read the blurb for Hard Justice, I was instantly hooked. I like the bodyguard to lover stories. We all secretly crave a little Kevin Costner in our lives, right? 🙂

What I like about this story more than some of the other bodyguard stories is Justice’s background. He used to be a MMA fighter and with that comes a great group of friends that ties perfectly into the story. We get the sheltered girl who finally learns about the big bad world though the bodyguard. She’s drinking for the first time, attending fights for the first time. Pretty much just doing everything for the first time.

There’s a background of suspense with this story as well. There where times that I questioned what was really going on and who was behind all the drama that kept happening. Justice’s friends from the MMA world also added to the drama a little bit but they provided so much color and laughter that you can’t help but want to know each and every one of their own stories. Which I now know that some of these guys are from a past series so I’m going to have to read them!

While I prefer first person and dual POVs, the third person didn’t bother me with this book. I think the writing was well written and the flow really helped me get over my own personal preference.

Overall, I enjoyed this book and I found a new author that I can know add to my list. If you like that forbidden love between bodyguard and client with an added bonus of a possessively hot ex-MMA fight, then this book might be right up your ally!

It’s just amazing this second book in the “Body Armor” series by Lori Foster, Justice’s book. We had already crossed path with him in the first installment in the series, and even then I liked him a lot. Justice is really compelling as character, nice hot guy precise and serious about his job as bodyguard, but also very spontaneous and easy going in his way of being, confident in his skills means and his capabilities, thanks to his past as a fighter in the MMA circuit. It’s impossible to resist his charm, and his way of dealing with Fallon, the girl he must protect, has literally conquered me. Not only his behavior with her, but also with her parents, but first things first let’s talk about the story… Fallon Wade is a young woman from a very rich and reserved family. Her parents are very apprehensive towards her and she has always lived a very sheltered life, safe from everything and everyone, after the lost of her sister in a tragic accident. She lives in a golden cage, but in doing so, for love in order not to worry her parents, she realizes she has never really lived and she wants to change this thing, trying to feel real taste of a normal life, as just making a chat in a bar with strangers. To give her this chance, her parents assume Justice as her bodyguard, through the agency Body Armor. Fallon is not some kind of rich and spoiled girl as Justice thought.. She is a beautiful woman who is still a little naive and shy, but also very intelligent, she is just a nice girl, generous and spontaneous. Quite the opposite of what he would expected. Justice also thought to have to deal with a simple task, routine, but for several reasons things get complicated. First, because there are little secrets that the Wades preferred to keep for themself, and secondly because Justice start from the very beginning to find himself involved in a deep and personal way while he must protect Fallon. What can I say about him? Yes, he’s absolutely gorgeous, a huge wall of muscle, very sexy, but he’s so amazing because of his way to make Fallon feel good and safe, knowing to say the right things at the right time, or sometimes knowing when silence and holding her in his arms is The better choice. I also loved Fallon very much, she isn’t the type of heroin I usually go crazy for, but she is so cute, sweet and naive, and for once it didn’t seem something forced. There is a story behind all this, even very painful and she truly is the perfect heroine to put further enhance Justice’s qualities. I loved this story so much not only for its two main protagonists, certainly in my eyes they were a wonderful couple, but I loved especially the times when Justice takes Fallon a little more in his private world, making her feel the warm and the affection of his fighter friends, something she missed in her life. They are truly an amazing group of friends, I love their jokes, the way they tease one another, but also as they are very protective with the people they love. I also enjoyed a lot the Justice’s family and the deep relationship that binds him to his mother and his grandmother, but also Fallon’s parents are extraordinary and special people. The plot of the story is really good, and in addition to the romance between the two protagonists, there was a lot of action and suspense in the story, which made everything more interesting. I really like thisseries and I really love Lori Foster’s writing, always great books.

So, I've almost forgiven Lori Foster for ending her Ultimate series. You see, I loved those guys and gals and I just wasn't ready to say goodbye to them yet. Turns out that Ms. Foster wasn't quite done with them yet either because they made appearances a couple of times in Leese and Cat's book (Under Pressure) and readers got to spend even more quality time with them in Hard Justice. That ended up being just an added bonus for Justice and Fallon though because as much as I loved Under Pressure, I think I may have liked Hard Justice even more.

The last thing he expected when he was assigned to protect Fallon was to fall for her. No, he really did expect a spoiled princess and Fallon was anything but. On the flip side, Fallon expected another cookie-cutter body guard who stuck out like a sore thumb. Neither one of them got what they expected. Fallon was down to earth and wanted to be 'normal.' Justice was a powerful presence that was hard to ignore. Watching them tip-toe around their mutual attraction was fun.

What was even more fun were the guys' reactions to Fallon and Justice. He couldn't hide his true feelings from those who knew him best and they couldn't resist ragging him about it. They also couldn't resist Fallon's charm any more than Justice could. Loving Justice's friends was a given because readers had already been introduced to most of them, but Justice's grandmother was a hoot and his mother was amazing. His interaction with both of them just made me fall in love with him more (and it had the same affect on Fallon ;) ) Fallon's parents even won me over little by little.
Beyond the characters and the romance, the 'who-dun-it' mystery was pretty good too. It was one of those mysteries where you thought you had it figured out, but then there was a twist, and then another one and characters you thought you despised turned out to be not so bad and... you get the picture. Basically, Hard Justice was a great read (not a surprise) and it left me wanting more (also, not a surprise.) I can't wait to see what this author has in store for the rest of the series because there is definitely more to come.

Justice, the former MMA fighter with a great sense of humor turned bodyguard, has fallen hard for his new client. Fallon has lived a very sheltered wealthy existence and needs help finding her way as an adult. Her past takes a while to reveal itself and leaves us wondering why she needs Justice in the first place. Their story is a bit different from Leese and Catalina, from Under Pressure, a much more sinister evil story lead to their love affair. Justice and Fallon have a slow burn to their love while the suspenseful twist takes a while to brew and comes to play near the end. I had my suspicions about the bad guy and in a way I was right, the twists and turns kept me thinking and was definitely surprised. This immediately follows Under Pressure but their story is independent as will be the next one. I have the impression this series is a spin off from one of Foster's MMA fighting series as the bodyguards were previously fighters. My copy was given through Netgalley and my review was written voluntarily.

Former MMA fighter Justice Wallington now works for Body Armor as a bodyguard. His latest job is to guard Fallon Ward, a twenty-four year old who has lived a sheltered life due to her parents being over protective after she was hurt in a fire five years ago.

Well, I loved Justice! He was funny and real and didn't sugar coat anything, yet was respectful. He was tender with Fallon, all the while protecting her.

Fallon was a bit unbelievable. Yes, she had been sheltered by her parents after the fire. But the way it was made out to sound in here was that she had done NOTHING since she recovered. She was thrilled to go to a fair. Had she never been to one as a child? She was excited to be going to a museum. That was a first? I can get never going to a bar or drinking a beer. But the rest I find unbelievable. She had a degree in interior design. How'd she finish that if she was this terribly sheltered?

As always, the relationships between the guys is what made me smile the most. Armie and Cannon, Leese and Denver. It was awesome. Their friendship is awesome! Kind of reminds me of the BDB with how they get along and tease each other and have each other's backs. :)

Hard Justice is the second book in the Body Armor series. Justice is a former MMA fighter who has decided to join his friend in the bodyguard business. His latest assignment is to guard a very sheltered rich girl He quickly realizes that Fallon is nothing like he was expecting.

Justice is definitely on my ever growing book boyfriend list. I loved these two together. Even thought it was fast, I felt like for the amount of time they spent together over the couple of weeks, made it seem like it had been longer. I always love it when it's the big alpha that falls first. It really makes me smile. Fallon's story was heartbreaking and Justice's handling of it was just perfect!

What I loved as much as the romance was Justice's grandmother. She was a hoot of a character and made me laugh. It wouldn't be a Lori Foster book without a mystery. This one definitely had me guessing. I kept thinking one thing only to find out I was wrong. That just made the book that much more fun to read. I flew through this book and am eagerly awaiting the next adventure with the men from Body Armor!
