A welcome continuation of the Body Armor series. Fallon, the protected daughter, and Justice, MMA fighter turned bodyguard, are an unlikely pair. They are thrown together as Fallon tries to spread her wings and Justice is her protection detail. With possible threats lurking they have to navigate their blossoming relationship while keeping vigilant eyes on multiple players.
Enjoyed seeing the fighters from the original series and getting caught up on their lives. Looking forward to the next storyline and beyond.

Hard Justice is the first book I have read by Lori Foster and I definitely enjoyed it.

Justice shows up to Fallon's home as her hired bodyguard. Not your typical bodyguard donned in a suit in tie sticking out like a sore thumb but definitely someone that you might find dangerous, ready to get into a brawl at any second. Justice is also a former MMA turned security guard. Fallon is sheltered and has some past issues that has kept her from enjoying a care free life.

This book had me smiling throughout, Justice is definitely an Alpha and I love my Alpha's. He doesn't care to change for others and acts like himself regardless of who is around. Fallon's desire to finally live her life and Justice trying to be professional and take care of her safety was so endearing while trying to ignore his feelings towards her especially with her over protective parents.

He was exactly what Fallon needed and I couldn't help but smile watching her come out of her shell. Justice had my heart swooning with how he treats Fallon, so protective and yet so attuned to her needs understanding that she's not your every day woman and needed someone to show her what she was worth.

There are some intense moments when someone seems to be after them which will have you wondering who the target is and who is behind it all. As well the secondary characters in this are also intriguing and definitely have me interested in reading more books by this Author.

If you are looking for a sweet somewhat forbidden romance with a little bit of suspense I would recommend this one. I will definitely want more from this series and looking forward to reading the rest of the books including the 1st one.

HARD JUSTICE is the second book in the Body Armor series by Lori Foster. Now this series is meant to be a Romantic Suspense series however I will say that although it does have some suspenseful moments in it, it is certainly not that will make you hold your breath. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that at all. Foster’s style is just a little more subdued and less in your face. I think that’s actually what’s intriguing about this series because there’s no big explosions or gun fights. The action is far more controlled and therefore, more difficult to write.

Foster does a good job of keeping the romance as the focus of the book however I was a little disappointed in the choice of heroine. We’ve met the hero, Justice, in the first book of the series and I really loved him there. He was a bit like the comic relief for that book and I thought he had a lot of spirit.

Justice seems a lot more toned down in this book which disappointed me and I think that’s mainly due to the heroine. Fallon is a very sheltered woman and that’s the main reason why I couldn’t get on with her character. She does show intelligence and a daring personality but I just didn’t like her with Justice. I felt like he had to hold so much of himself back because of her.

I also thought the premise of this book to be a little wishy-washy. The series is about bodyguards and when Justice first picks Fallon up, he takes her to a bar. Now I know some bars can be seedy and dangerous but I thought the first book just had a stronger storyline to it. As a result, HARD JUSTICE just wasn’t one of my favorites.

Often in a series I am frustrated by book 2. Not this time. Foster manages to seamlessly transition from the introduction in Under Pressure to the action here in Hard Justice.

Justice has been carefully selected to be a personal bodyguard for Fallon as she tries to move freely around town. There is a suspicious lack of evidence for a credible threat but if the parents are willing to pay his exorbitant fee to drive their beloved daughter around who is he to complain?

Fallon has been suffocated, err protected, by her parents since the death of her only sibling. They hid the story of what really happened to their first daughter and any mention of Fallon's injuries were washed away.

It becomes clear from the start that Fallon is in more danger with her bodyguard than she was before. What is not clear is whether the threat is chasing her or Justice. We have help from all our favorite SBC friends to discover the truth and neutralize the threat.

Unless my spidey sense is off Miles will come next.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I'm really enjoying the body armor series though I feel this one moved at a slower paced than I liked. I lost interest about halfway through wondering where it was going but then it picked back up. Tom was a fun character though it would have been nice to see him fight someone and see the fighters wives.

HARD JUSTICE by Lori Foster delivered a suspenseful and romantic tale featuring former MMA cage fighter, Justice Wallington, as he takes on his first solo protection duty. HARD JUSTICE delivered a knockout punch with heat, heart, and suspense.

After reading UNDER PRESSURE, the first novel in the Body Armor series, I was anxious for Justice Wallington's story. We first met Justice in the Ultimate series, and Foster delivered a one-two punch that left me swooning. Justice left the MMA world to join Leese at Body Armor, an elite security service company. His first job seems low key. All he needs to do is protect an heiress named Fallon Wade. It was fun seeing Justice transform from fighter to a protector.

Fallon Wade isn't the entitled heiress he expected to encounter, and her parents seem awfully protective of their twenty-four-year-old daughter. Fallon's life has been very sheltered, and Justice soon realizes she hasn't experienced any of the firsts her peers would have. Fallon wants to experience life, and find her independence. She is refreshing, innocent, and brightens Justice's world. Things get complicated when a threat presents itself and thoughts of kissing her begin to consume him.

The suspense angle was intense with plenty of red herrings and suspects including a pushy ex-boyfriend. I loved how Foster used this threat, to allow Justice and Fallon to become closer as she exposes their pasts, vulnerabilities, fears and desires. I connected with both of them, even Fallon who I was sure I wouldn't like. Her story will gut you, and I found myself wiping away tears. I loved the moment when the cover made sense and thought Foster did an excellent job of wrapping up the suspense and ending their story.

From their chemistry to time spent with characters from the Ultimate series, HARD JUSTICE delivered an engaging, swoon-worthy, and action-packed tale that allowed me to slip into their world for a few hours. I cannot wait for news on the next book.

Justice and Fallon make such and adorable couple. Justice is such a big Teddy Bear. I love how this is a brand new series but it plays off the her other series. It is nice to be able to visit with our old friends and make new at the same time. I can't wait for the next book, I hope it is Mile's book. I also hope there is a book for Sahara, and the eternal optimist in me hopes that Sahara's brother is found alive.

Hard Justice may be my favorite Lori Foster book ever! Justice is a MAN, kind, intelligent, full of integrity, hard-working, a good son... and Fallon is the woman he is hired to protect. Both characters and secondary characters are enjoyable.

In my opinion, this is another Lori Foster winner. It is Justice & Fallon’s story.
Justice is an MMA fighter who retires and becomes a bodyguard. Fallon is a rich young woman who has had a very dangerous experience so her parents are overprotective. They agree that she can have some freedom if she is accompanied by a bodyguard. This book is the story of how they met and fell in love.
This is the second in the Body Armor series, but it can be read alone. The story is believable, the bad guys are awful, the good guys are great, and the sex is hot. I enjoy Ms. Foster’s writing because she features strong heroines and heroes who need to learn not to wrap them in cotton wool.
Fallon has agreed to a bodyguard so her parents won’t worry. When she first sees him, she notices that he does not look or act like her other bodyguards. She does not want him giving the “stink eye” to guys who approach her in a bar, mostly because she is too innocent to believe the strangers might not have her best interests at heart. Justice falls for Fallon a little when he sees how naive and trusting she is. She is so excited to experience ordinary things!
Justice is a big (heavyweight) MMA fighter, but he is such a softie around his mom and grandma and Fallon. Fallon is surprised but pleased to learn that he will plant flowers in his yard to make his mom happy.
The pair are successfully able to overcome the bad guys who are trying to use those he loves to force Justice to fight again. Not only that, but with the resources of his friends and the bodyguard agency, they are able to get evidence against some really nasty characters. And the problems don’t keep them from falling in love.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book.

Another wonderful book by Lori Foster that shows why she is a must read author for me. This one had her typical great characters and a riveting storyline. Justice and Fallon were wonderful together, and their story was one that was worthy of the author.

I really enjoyed the first novel in the Body Armor series (Under Pressure), and I couldn't wait for Justice to get his own book!! Soooo, needless to say, the moment Hard Justice downloaded on my kindle, I dove in! I am so excited to report that I loved every page of this fast paced novel!!!

Right off the bat I loved the chemistry Justice and Fallon exuded!! Lori Foster did a fantastic job with the storyline and I honestly never wanted this book to end! Ms. Foster's Buckhorn Brothers series is an all time favorite of mine and I never thought she would be able to top it, but the Body Armor series is officially now tied for her best work in my opinion!! I loved reading about Justice and Fallon's romantic journey just as much as I loved the nail biting suspense that is masterfully woven throughout this book!! Hard Justice is a 5 star novel that I HIGHLY recommend. I absolutely cannot wait for the next installment in this incredible series!!

I loved loved this book! Justice is the best! I loved the storyline and the wonderful characters. This was perfectly paced and such fun to read. it was a little low on the sexy times but what there was of them were hot as can be. Definitely didn't feel I was missing out on anything with the story. it grabbed and wouldn't let go. This author is such an amazing storyteller and each book feels like coming to visit family. Couldn't ask for a better read! Highly recommend it! I voluntarily reviewed an advance readers copy.

I loved this book, so much so I had an early night while on vacation in Europe so I could finish it! I always enjoy romance novels when the hero and heroine aren't total commitment-phobes who fall in love despite that fact. The interactions between Justice and Fallon were wonderful. There was a little bit of a thriller mystery, cameos from some of my favorite MMA fellas, and a whole lot of sexy!

Love these ex-fighters and their pals. They are fall in love as hard and swift as the punch that knocks Tom out in Justice's last fight. And, seemingly as uncharacteristically and unexpectedly. But, instead of letting it take them down, these guys are strengthened by and revel in it.

"Hard Justice," the second book in Lori Foster's Body Armor series, is Justice and Fallon's story. Fallon finds herself into all kinds of scrapes but, thanks to a new deal with her loving yet overprotective parents, Justice has her back. Of course as her bodyguard, he's paid to keep her safe and out of harm's way.

Both main characters are transitioning to a new phase in life. Justice is starting a new career path; his first big job outside the ring is in private security. Fallon
M is spreading her wings, determined to get out and experience life as a young, to prove she'll be okay on her own., to be independent of her parents and their money. She's humored them for year following her sister's tragic death. So, naturally, she's inexperienced and a bit naive.

I live seeing there growth individually and together.
And, Sparks fly from the moment Justice and Fallon first set eyes on each other.

This had all of the markings of a Strong Lori Foster book; however i felt a little off with the mauin characters... the girl was not mature enough to understand to work with the security all of the time... It is one thing to be sheltered and want to break out... it is another when there is a threat serious enough for a body guard... And with a Bodyguard like Justice... she should listen...
