Once again I felt absolutely no connection to the characters (though the heroine came across as quite bitchy), the romance fell flat and felt unbelievable due to the speed at which it happened, and the plot had no real "meat".

I like Leslie North. I read her books when I'm looking for a short, fast love with a happily ever after. Fearless seemed to have more depth than some of her other books. I loved H and his devotion to his dreams. Great book.

Henry, the fighter living his mentor's dream, is pressed into working with crusader Maggie (complete with red hair and actress-like do-gooderness) to get a talented, yet troubled, boy the attention he needs to focus and do well at a prestigious competition.

There were a lot of dangling threads in this story, and the result was disjointed. Maggie did not come across as ready to be in a committed relationship, while Henry seemed so burdened, he couldn't possibly get around his issues. The other "brothers" from previous books, weren't great in their sibling's story. Altogether, though there were some nice, gentle points, this was quite a disappointing conclusion to what had been a pretty good series.

So, I have to say that I was a little enthusiastic about this book, at first, than the other two in the trilogy. While I don't have the same views on MMA/boxing as Maggie, I had to applaud her on not giving up on Roosevelt by helping him succeed academically. A little "fighting" on the side is not such a bad thing as long as education is on the front burner. Boy, did I feel horrible when it looked like Roosevelt would choose MMA over the absolutely awesome opportunities Maggie is helping him attain. And it seemed like Henry was no help! Actually working against Maggie, in some aspects. It was frustrating to watch this all unfold!
But, I read on because, by this point, we know Henry's not so little secret and know that it's a powder keg, about to explode right in his face. The emotions are palpable! And then Roosevelt's father is added into the mix and you're on the edge of your seat, waiting for it all to end!
I was so right to not let the frustration get to me. It was worth it. 4 stars!

This was a quick read and a good end to this series but I kept thinking that it was missing something. The characters did not really connect like the others in this series until the VERY end of this book and I thought that the plot dragged until the end when it was rushed. I did like the return of Marcus and Chase from the previous books in this series even though they had cameo appearances. I did enjoy reading this book but I did not connect with it like I did the others in the series. I did enjoy the message the author was sending as it was the same as the other books in this series.

Good writing. Hot characters. I'd enjoy more books like this.

Quick read. I didn't like this story as much as the previous books. I really didn't like the characters as much either. Especially Maggie. I found her to be too harsh and judgemental. She made assumptions about things she knew very little about. It was her way or no way. In the end, she did bend but it took the entire book. Henry was living in the past. He could not move on from the death of his mentor and his guilt over a past that still haunted him. They both had good intentions but struggled to accomplish that good. Just an ok read for me.

Guidance counselor Maggie seeks out MMA fighter and mentor Henry in hopes of getting him to side with her in regards to getting one of her students more focused on academics rather than on boxing in his gym. After much debate they get over their issues with one another and work together to help each other.

This is the third and final book in the Solomon series and each of these books can be read as a standalone with each having a happy ending. Great read by Leslie North. I loved the love/hate relationship the two characters had throughout the story and I look forward to reading even more by this author.

Loved the premise of the story. I did not Maggie even in the end. She was too caught up in her own cause for me. I believe that before you start downing a person you should discover what the truth is about their situation. Henry, Roosevelt, and Layla were my go to characters and made the book for me. Loved that Henry's friends were there for him even when he was so caught up in grief that he was literally throwing his life away. Very, good story overall.

Not at all what I expected from this author but it was exciting, sexy and intriguing until the last page. I hope North continues in this vein of literary awesomeness!

I loved reading the tantalizing and exciting erotic romance by the extraordinary, talented author Leslie North. I received a copy from NetGalley. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, engaging story with captivating characters, and a must read love story of Henry Lorenz and Maggie Kavanaugh.

These two come from two different worlds, two different ways of thinking, but find a common road to come together on. Chemistry and love grows between these two. On their way to a happy ending, there are some bumps in their road, but eventually get their happy ending. An enjoyable read.

Fearless is one very good MMA love story. I liked that the story is not about the sport but has deeper meaning. I loved both of the characters both Henry and Maggie are lovable and you want immediatly for them make it work. I liked that the author gave them so opposite characters, the way they story is connected is unpredictable to know. The story is really a good package of interesting plot with great characters unpredictable events and little romantic.
Great book.
