nice ideas, good writing, sadly wasn't for me personally since i was not able to get into mediation with this book and with that i felt bit like this book failed me in what it promised to do.
Not every book is for everyone, this one sadly wasn't for me.

It is a very valuable book, that inspires the readers to meditate and get the inestimable value of getting an inner silence, concentration, and peace which is the greatest need of the society today. Davidji comes out extremely dedicated to the cause opening the heart of people to their true essence through meditation. The personal experience of the author of thousands of hours of meditation and his vast knowledge of different techniques of meditation makes the book very useful for anyone practicing meditation or to start learning to meditate. The book inspires and gives a roadmap to access those human qualities to the reader that were hidden because of the fast-paced never ending rat race of life. Anyone, picking up this book will not be able to put it down without getting an immense benefit.

I just started meditating and wanted a book to help me with the basics. I have read a few different books now and this one by Davidji is by far the best of the ones that I read. The author talks about the benefits of meditation, shares his own personal story, and describes several different types of meditation. I loved how clearly Davidji describes each type of meditation and I easily found the one that I liked the best.

At the end of the book the author talks about several myths about meditation and gives some final tips on how to get started in a daily practice that I found really helpful. Davidji is so passionate about what he does that he really inspired me to give meditation a try. I am so glad that I read this book, I found it very helpful.

This is a great beginner book on meditation and opens up all the possibilities and paths to find one-ness. A book that is a great reference and one you will want to keep near you as you progress and try out different ways to meditate. This is one you will want to read and then re-read the sections that resonate with you. Many thanks to Davidji and Hay House for providing such an inviting open way to experience the wonders of meditation.
