Thank you for the opportunity to read excepts from upcoming books.
I can't tell if it's just me, or if a number of these stories are really bleak, verging on dystopian, even those in a modern, our-world setting. I kind of needed a hug, even after just the excerpts for some of these.
A must have guide for any library, book blogger or booktube. This showcases upcoming new titles for the spring/ summer season. A must have guide
I love these previews, and the opportunities to read advanced copies. I look forward to these each quarter!
This is an incredibly useful tool for collection development. It put a few titles on both my personal reading list, and my library purchasing list, and confirmed a few others.
I write monthly previews for new releases because I can't always get my hands on certain books, so this is super helpful in cutting down my time in bookshops perusing the first few chapters of many new publications! I look forward to seeing more of these in the future!
I'm very glad that there's a YAfiction edition of this series. I love the monthly outputs as well but tend to search for the YA titles much more closely.
I was very impressed by the premise of "Dividing Eden" and will be putting that on my to be read list. I was also thrilled to see an excerpt of Renee Ahdieh's latest novel!
This is actually fantastic. I wish I had discovered these earlier. This is not only perfect for book reviewers, but also for book lovers. It's great publicity for authors who deserve it, with perfect size excerpts, and all the information you'd ever need about the book. Absolutely brilliant.
My only complaint is that this is a look at the Spring/Summer book releases, but there's only a handful of books featured. For a period that covers an entire 6 months, I feel like a lot of people were left out of being featured in this.
So it's not exactly a review book, but there are some VERY exciting books in this pamphlet. I'm excited for Roar, Flame in the Mist, The Black Witch, Dream Me, and Dividing Eden. Thank you netgalley for posting this!!
Great preview for upcoming books! It's always great to start looking for anticipated releases as early as possible.
Did not really feel the need to read any of the books this time, but it have been worse.
It is always a pleasure to be able to read these excerpts and get a glimpse into the following season's releases. I love that you get more than a paragraph to get a feel of the book, and that information and links are given at the end of the excerpts. I love the quality and quantity of books given; as well as the variety of subjects covered in the Buzz Books releases.
Super pleased with this collection! I've come away with more than a few titles noted down and even more requested from the full galley. This is super helpful, thanks Buzz Books!
Like always, I loved reading through all the excerpts of upcoming books, and will be adding a couple to my TBR pile. The One Memory of Flora Banks, and Aftercare.
Yayyyy!!! New books to look forward to! Getting a peek at what is hot before it hits the masses, can't get better than this.
I wish I would have found this sampler sooner the books I want I cant get...I'll be watching for them at my bookstore. Im kinda of bummed out about that. Wish for it....yeah okay.
These are awesome! I think they are good for any YA librarian to read.
So exciting to learn more about the upcoming releases!
This is a summary of several books to look out for this up-coming Spring/Summer. And it is packed with good things!
Each book is presented with the normal publishing information (expected date, blurb, publisher, etc.). To make this a real treat, excerpts are also included. A run down of some of the included books is:
Flame in the Mist by Renée Ahdieh
Dream Me by Kathryn Berla
Future Threat by Elizabeth Briggs
Piper Perish by Kayla Cagan
Dividing Eden by Joelle Charbonneau
Spirit Quest by Jennifer Frick-Ruppert
The Black Witch by Laurie Ann Forest
Geekerella by Ashley Poston
Definitions of Indefinable Things by Whitney Taylor
Gem & Dixie by Sara Zarr
And many more. I enjoyed flipping through these and definitely have a better handle on what I want to get my hands on and what not. I'm looking forward to grabbing this collection again in the future.
I got this as a freebie and loved the concept, helped me narrow down to a few I really have to get
