As usual, I love it! The synopsis are always very useful, and it's always a nice surprise to find the link to the full novel.

This YA Spring/Summer edition of Buzz Books shows that we have some great YA books to look forward to this year! I've already had the pleasure to read The One Memory by Emily Barr, which is in one word BRILLIANT. Other titles that stood out for me after reading the previews were Flame In The Mist by Renee Ahdieh, Future Threat by Elizabeth Briggs, Roar by Cora Carmack, This Is Really Happening by Erin Chack, How To Be A Supervillian by Michael Fry and Rebels Like Us by Liz Reinhardt. What a great selection of promising stories from a variety of different genres!

I just loved to read various excerpts of new upcoming books. Specially the ones that I knew almost or nothing about.
It gives you, this book, a really good expectation for what is to come and what we should order.
I still haven't posted this comment in anywhere eslse but here, but I will do on Goodreads and probably on Twitter.

I think that the content of this book is supposed to be great but I can't seem to read them, when I press next after page four, it won't move.

This is a good selection of books, I like getting to have snippets to help me decide where I should put my focus.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for sending for a digital copy of all these excerpts. I was very excited to get a glimpse of “Flame in the Mist” by Renee Ahdieh and “Roar” by Cora Carmack. Both look very interesting and our library has already pre-ordered these titles. I love Buzz Books! These are such great resources and I look forward to them.

This was an interesting melting pot of stories. I had five that really stood out to me, two of them very surprising. Check out my full review on Goodreads!

I added so many books to my TBR thank to Buzz Books that I've lost count of them. Excellent titles!

Buzz Books 2017: Young Adult Spring/Summer is the latest in the preview collection filled with a dozen and a half excerpts from authors representing a variety of publishers (Albert Whitman, Amberjack, Chronicle, Hachette, Harlequin, HarperCollins, Houghton Harcourt Mifflin, Macmillan, Penguin Random House and Quirk Books). For my high school students, I am most interested in seeing a copy of Sara Zarr's new GEM & DIXIE, about two sisters and their dysfunctional family (starred review from Booklist), and am intrigued by Emily Barr's young adult debut, THE ONE MEMORY OF FLORA BANKS.

I must applaud those who put this book together for the sheer variety of genres included. I was impressed to see that there was a graphic novel-esque work included, as well as some excerpts that showed the future of YA fiction isn't completely filled with white bread.

However, after reading the book, it just looks like the same old, same old is coming out over the next few months. None of the titles really grabbed my attention; in fact, for a lot of the books, I felt like I had already read them.

Buzz Books 2017: Young Adult Spring/Summer selection once again does not disappoint. Filled with a broad range of pre-publication excerpts there's really something for any YA reader to discover genre wise and new authors to meet. I a fan of MG titles, so it was nice to their inclusion here as well. A great addition to any librarian's and reviewer's repertoire.

Wonderful choices!
I really enjoy getting the samples from the books, giving me a chance to get a bit of an understanding what books i want to pick up right away and which one might not be for me after all because the sample was not as i wanted it to be (or the opposite made me so curious about the book that i can not WAIT to be able to pick it up and read it!)

As nicely done as always!
