I enjoyed this book. It pulled you right in and kept you turning the pages. This book was well written and I had no issues following the story. It tied into the other books in the series well.

Six books into Paige Tyler's SWAT series and I'm still addicted. In Wolf Hunt we travel with a few of the SWAT wolf to New Orleans where Remy reunites with a woman from his past.

I enjoyed the action/drama of Remy's New Orleans mission as well as the romantic drama with Triana and Remy. Things happen fast, Remy is caught by Triana's scent and Triana finds herself charmed but their past together makes it not seem quite so abrupt. Neither are a geographically desirable partner but their connection is so strong that you know these two will find a way.

Triana's mother was a fun character. She was really interesting and has her own connection to the werewolf community that helps Triana find her way. I loved the background of New Orleans, especially when all the drama of the pendant and romance comes to a head during the middle of a storm.

I have read Paige Tyler's Books before and I am familiar with the series, though I have not read all of the books in the series and probably not even reading in order.

I loved the book and the plot was well written. It was an action thriller with smoky chemistry. That being said the climax and the insta-love brought me down from the reading high.

This was another great addition to this series. I loved that it varied from the previous ones with the second chance romance. Remy and Triana were great together and this book did a good job of setting things up for the upcoming war. Also, loved Triana's mom!

Did not finish.

Oh dear, match alpha male shifters with military special ops and a New Orleans accent and we just overloaded on testosterone. I really tried with this but it was the accent which made me throw in the towel.

This series just keeps getting better and better. Romance, werewolves, action, mystery, magic; there's pretty much something for everyone. I'm also loving the hunter storyline; it adds a more realistic, not to mention darker, element to the series and helps tie all of the books together.

So Remy and a handful of other members of the Dallas SWAT team are in New Orleans for a training session. It's also Remy's hometown and while he's there he runs into an old crush, Triana. Their fiends to lovers romance was nicely done, and I loved Triana's mom. Remy, who really ought to have known better after watching his teammates find their One mate, resists the very thought that Triana could be his One, despite all of the signs. As a result of his denial, he pulls some stupid moves, and makes Triana cry, the dimwit. Triana and Remy were good together; both smart, feisty, and stubborn, they looked out for each other and took care of each other. Even after Remy pushes Triana away (stubborn wolf), he's right there when she needs help. And Triana was a clever lady who thought fast on her feet. She may not have rescued herself but she did a decent job of keeping calm and coming up with a plan.

Seeing Remy and the other Dallas wolves interact with the New Orleans SWAT team was fun. They had to restrain themselves and not use their wolf abilities during training since they were working with humans. The change of pace from Dallas was nice and I hope we'll see some of the NO swat members again.

There were several story threads and subplots which all came together as the story progressed. I guessed at a few of them, they seemed obvious to me, while a couple surprised me. There was a good balance of action and romance, though I would have liked a little more wolf time than we got. The story kept me reading, wanting to see how long it took Remy to come to his senses, and wanting to see how certain threads played out. I mentioned the hunters earlier. A recent addition to the series, they add a grittier edge and I am curious to see how they will affect our SWAT team and their growing pack of beta wolves. Tyler's spin on werewolves is developing nicely and I like her take on them. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Dallas werewolf and SWAT officer Remy Boudreaux is back in his hometown of New Orleans for a week of training. While showing his teammates around the French Quarter Remy smells the most tantalizing scent. Resisting his primal urge to find the owner of the scent is futile. He’s stunned to discover the owner is none other than his High School crush!

Triana Bellamy is shocked to run into Remy in a night club. It’s a surprise she’s happy to explore. Triana never expected to find trouble on her doorstep. Triana is determined to discover the secret behind a wolf pendant that has landed her family in hot water.

Remy will do whatever it takes to protect Triana from the danger at her door. Together they race against time to find the truth behind the pendant. Will they find a lasting love in the process or will Triana run when she discovers Remy’s true nature?

Paige Tyler’s Wolf Hunt cranks out the sizzling suspense.

Remy and Triana scorch the pages with their undeniable attraction. Wolf Hunt takes the reader out of Dallas and straight to NOLA. It was so exciting to see our favorite characters maneuver in a city where they weren’t in charge. I felt like I was back in NOLA while reading Tyler’s excellent depictions of the city. It was such a treat.

Ms. Tyler manages to keep both of her shifter series innovative with riveting characters. Remy and Triana manage to pull your heartstrings from page one. Remy has a lot to overcome if he wants lasting love with Triana. His emotional journey was beautiful.

I can’t get enough of Tyler’s SWAT and X-Ops series’! Keep them coming Ms. Tyler!

WOLF HUNT is high on suspense and action with a wonderfully steamy romance which makes it yet another excellent installment of this series. I'm a fan of suspense, so I was pretty okay with the romance taking a back seat to the cool, intense, and dangerous plot revolving around a certain aspect of werewolf mythology. This by no way means that the romance isn't integral to the plot or incredibly sweet and sexy. It's just worked into the story more so than the romances were in the previous books.

I love the ever expanding werewolf mythology of this series. In each book we get yet more revelations as to just what is going on in the growing werewolf community and how werewolves 'work' in this world. Its a unique take on the mythology and I love that we are sort of learning about it with the rest of the SWAT team. With WOLF HUNT we get a change of scenery as the SWAT team goes to New Orleans which helped give a different feel to the book compared to the previous Dallas/Texas-based books. I am still bit miffed that they have been able to keep the 'secret werewolf task force' thing so undercover for such a long time.

On the romance front, I liked how Remy and Triana skip the insta-love trope by having them know each other from high school. I enjoy that in this series they give a good reason for the whole 'fated mates' trope or as they call it finding "The One". They end up together because they actually work well together and have an emotional/intellectual connection beyond raw passion. The way their romance builds from a casual fling into something more serious is very well done and made for some pretty steamy moments. Also, they are super awesome together, be it in the quiet romantic moments or the hectic and dangerous ones.

At the end of the book we get a revelation as to why so many people in such a close proximity are finding "The One". Its neat that the author actually gives a reason for basically all of the Dallas SWAT team pairing up so quickly and it isn't merely because this is a romance series and that's just how it goes. There seems to be some sort of big revelation/show-down coming up and I am on board with whatever comes up next in this series.

This is an engaging, sexy werewolf story with strong passion and a good plotline. My rating 4.25.

Remy is a Dallas SWAT officer visiting in New Orleans, his home town, for cross training with local cops. No one knows that the four Dallas men have special skills and they have to be careful not to expose their true wolf natures. Remy hits on an enticing scent and pulls his team mates along the night club route as he seeks out the source. Remy is surprised when his nose leads him to his high school crush, Triana.

Triana is a forensic lab tech who is in town to visit her mother. She is thrilled to see Remy as she had a crush on him too. The chemistry between them flares quickly even though Remy has convinced himself he doesn’t want to get too close to any woman since he suffered the loss of a partner whom he had fallen in love with.

Triana’s mother is being pressured to sell her husband’s special wolf pendant. Although she has told the buyer’s agent that she doesn’t have it, he won’t take no for an answer. Thugs return to put more pressure behind the request but they are surprised when Remy steps in to handle the threat. Although they retreat, the threat hasn’t disappeared.

Remy and his team are called upon to assist in a drug raid that leaves a lot of unhappy cops. Meanwhile, a tropical storm is bearing in on the city but these issues raise less havoc than the conflict Remy faces from trying to resist his natural instinct to protect Triana, especially since he won’t admit he could love her.

The story is full of action and steamy passion. It reads quickly and is engaging. The characters are likeable and although the romance is a bit hotter and the scenes a bit more prevalent than I care for, they don’t overshadow a strong plotline. The author does a good job of connecting Triana’s parents’ past with the current situation.

This is the first story I have read in this series and I enjoyed it even as a standalone. I am guessing that the earlier stories are of the other SWAT members finding and protecting their “true mates”. Since I enjoy a good shifter story now and again I will be keeping Ms. Tyler and this series in mind for future reading. I recommend this to readers who enjoy a passionate shifter romance with a strong story.

I received this title from the publisher through NetGalley.

The SWAT guys have hit the road and the steamy passion of New Orleans comes out to play when this sexy wolf finds his mate with a woman he once let get away. Remy and a few of his teammates have come to NOLA on an exchange program to train and train with the SWAT team of the parish, but little do those men know that the Dallas SWAT acronym stands for something a little bit different than it does for them. These men are all werewolves, using their extra strength, skill, and cunning in order to become the best team in the country. Remy is on his first night out with the boys when he catches a subtle but teasing scent leading him on a crazy and winding trail through the French Quarter until he comes face to face with the sexiest woman he’s ever seen… a woman he recognizes from his youth and that he is unable to resist. Triana is amazed to find herself face to face with this gorgeous hunk that she crushed on as a girl, but when the passion between them heats up to uncontrollable levels, she decides that maybe having him in her bed would be worth the heartache in the end when he moves on. But soon they are dealing with a mystery that drags both of them and her mother and late father into a danger that could cost them not only the budding love they are feeling, but also their very lives. This story was one of my favorite in this series, with just the right amount of drama and danger to make it seem less like a book all about werewolves and more a suspenseful romance where the hero is just that little bit extra special. Remy is beyond hot, but he is also a sweet southern boy (right up my alley, or course) and a man determined to find a way to give Triana the love she deserves. He was strong, endearing, and loving to her and her mother through the entire story and seeing how sweet he was made me melt like heated sugar. Triana was perfectly portrayed as a skeptic, but she is a smart woman as well, a woman of science, and once faced with indisputable facts about Remy’s secret she soon learns just how little she really knew about the world around her and even the people she has loved all her life. The chemistry and connection between Remy and Triana is palpable every moment they are near one another, but more importantly they play off each other’s strengths so well and are better characters for that connection. I also loved the twists and turns of this story, much more than previous which were mostly about their police cases and the struggles of connecting with their mates. Paige’s series just keeps getting better and better and I cannot wait to see which of the SWAT wolves finds love next and just what type of challenge they will have to work through in order to find their HEA. A truly masterful work of fiction with all the heart, sensuality, and mystery to make it a top read in any personal library.

It may be that I love anything with NOLA but I really enjoyed this story. Remy is back home in New Orleans with members of his special SWAT team who are also his pack mates. He runs into an old friend Triana, and things really start to heat up. Together they become involved a mystery. Will he be able to solve the mystery and keep her and his heart safe.

This is book 6 in the SWAT series. This book can be read as a stand alone however there are characters from previous book mentioned and in this book.

Remy Boudreaux was once in love and it ended badly so he has protected himself since then by not getting emotionally involved with another woman since. When he is visiting his hometown of New Orleans for training he bumps into a high school friend Triana Bellamy and there is instant chemistry. Triana is in town visiting her mother when she runs into to Remy and she feels an immediate connection with him. Needless to say they get hot and heavy pretty fast.

The whole book takes place over the course of a week, less than really, and with an impending hurricane/tropical storm looming. Even though time is short you can feel the connection of Remy and Triana. They manage to squeeze a lot into a few days. There is a lot of heat and action as well as a mystery that keeps you guessing till the end.

I am really enjoying this series. A few nuggets on information were shared in this book that have me wondering where the series is going and I am excited to see what Tyler has in store.

What can you say about Paige and her SWAT series that hasn't already been said? Moving the story to NO for this chapter in the pack's life was a good move and added an element of the unknown to the mix that made this story just that much more enjoyable. Remy and Tiana? Somewhat star crossed lovers who pulled at the heartstrings, Remy because he was so thick headed that you wanted to smack him and Tiana because she gave me the impression of the strong character and personality that would not be hidden no matter what. The action and suspense came tightly wound and firmly packed. I never want these stories to end and this was no different.

Wolf Hunt book six in Paige Tyler's SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team series. I loved it. I enjoy the suspense and the action and I'm a big fan of intsa-love. I also enjoy how the paranormal aspect plays second fiddle to the rest of the story, yeah it comes into play more so in this one than the others the fact that they are shifters is mainly for the romance side of the story. If you are new to the series the Dallas SWAT is a group of alpha wolf shifter, in the previous five books we have seen the introduction to the betas, a more submissive wolf shifter, and the omega shifters which are crazed shifters who are more animal than man. The Team has also begun to find their "One true mate" they can mate with anyone but the the One is the one person in this world destined to be with the shifter it is a rare thing that the guys originally thought was only a legend.

Like with the other books this one starts off on the traumatic experience that triggered their shifter DNA. Remy was a DEA agent who was in love with his partner and as you can guess it ended badly. Skip ahead almost half a dozen years later and Remy, Max, Jayden, and Zane are all in New Orleans for some cross-training with NOPD SWAT. For Remy it is also a trip home. The boys are out enjoying the nightlife when Remy gets a whiff of something good and follows it. When he finds the source he also finds his old school friend Triana and boom Remy finds his One True love, even though he's not going to admit it yet. Triana is only in town visiting her mother it's just happenstance that she is there the same time as Remy. Remy, whom she had such a crush on in high school and one of her dearest friends until they lost contact in college. Triana went on to study Forensic science and began working at one of the best labs in Texas in Houston.

The cross-training is going well but soon the buys are asked to take part in an active case, one where they can't pin down the new person in town bringing in drugs. Remmy and the other guys know who it is they just have to find the evidence that will nail him unfortunately this guy has a big political face and anything short of ironclad is just going to make the NOPD look like fools. Also Triana and her mom are having so trouble a mysterious person wants to buy an amulet that belonged to Triana's father. Triana's father was brutally murdered when she was in college and they never found the person responsible. Now someone is willing to go as far as needed to get the amulet that Triana's father wore and Remy isn't going to let anything happen to Triana or her mother because now that he has found her again he is not willing to let her go that easily.

Overall, this was a really good read. I'm just in love with every book so far, Tyler's active setting is fantastic and her romance always smokin' hot.

I do love the wolves of the Dallas SWAT team. In this book, Remy and a few of the guys of SWAT are in his hometown of New Orleans doing some cross training. While there, he is inexplicably drawn across town by a scent and is shocked to find that he knows the woman it belongs to. Triana and Remy were best friends in school but went their separate ways after graduation. Now they are back in the same town, if only for a few days, and the sparks are flying.
Remy is hot and I could just hear his accent. The descriptions of New Orleans was wonderful and I loved the walks down Bourbon Street. The fact that Triana lost her dad the way she did was heartbreaking, but it gives you a glimmer of what is to happen in the book. I liked that Triana's mom was so involved with her life. She wasn't pushy and obnoxious, just more of a friend who understood. Remy's past of course gets in the way of he and Triana but there is a whole other story about what is really going on in New Orleans.
It was a 4/5 for me. I really do completely enjoy this series!

Thank you to the author/publisher for the review copy of this book. I received this book in exchange for an honest review and the opinions stated above are 100% mine.

This is the first story that I read from Paige Tyler and her SWAT: Special Wolf Alpha Team series and I must say that I cannot wait for the 7th story from the series.

I love Remy to the fullest. I've been reading about wolf stories and finding the one that is meant for them a lot, but somehow, the 'scent' thing surprised me and I enjoyed it.

This was a very good read and it was very interesting. I loved the storyline and there was one character that I loved and I wanted to hear more of her thoughts. That one character was Gemma I thought she had a very good hypothesis of why more werewolves were seeking the alphas but before I go too much into this Remy and Triana were perfect for each other.

Remy and Triana knew each other from high school and they both had a crush on each other but no one said anything about it. They both started living their lives and now Remy lived in Dallas while Triana lived in Houston but they were both in New Orleans for a week. That was the beginning of their fate together. It seemed that chemistry was instant between these two characters and they both had lots of fun together. There was only one problem Remy had already been in love with someone and they passed away so he didn’t want a relationship with a woman. But what he doesn’t get is that “The One” has been found and that connection is just going to intensify. Triana was falling in love with him and she knew the instant that he shut down and she knew that she needed to protect herself. In the middle of their dancing around there are some bad guys that have been somewhat harassing Triana’s mom, Gemma, and just how the hurricane is out there brewing and couldn’t intensify that is what is happening with this man that is looking for the wolf pendant. He is not going to give up until he has that pendant and he becomes a werewolf.

Wolf Hunt was a great read. This book was a little different because it didn’t take place in Dallas with all the other SWAT Team but in New Orleans. The chemistry between Remy and Triana was passionate, it was smoking HOT. Ms. Tyler is an amazing writer and her creativity is great. I can’t wait to read more and see if what Gemma is thinking is happening is what is going to happen.
