This was a great second chance love story that was a quick read. This was a nice end to the three brothers stories and even though my review is late, it was a nice holiday story. It was a good story where the characters do get second chances and I would recommend this book to others.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book via NetGalley.

Again another super read. Just love Lesile north books and this series, it just keeps getting better with each book and each sheikh. They have different personalities and you can't help falling in love with each one would recommend

Loved reading the sensational Shadid Sheikh's third romance book in the series. I received a copy from NetGalley.
Kashif Shadid goes to Alaska to train and win the Iditarod dog sled race. Kristy Cohen has not seen Kashif since he left and broke her heart years ago. Read the highly recommended, engaging story of a woman with a failing dog sled farm raising a young daughter and a captivating prince wanting and trying to help her.

I know, I am a little late in getting around to this book, but just because it was Christmas themed, it was still a pretty hot novel. Another part of the Shadid Sheikhs Series Book series by Leslie North, this book as easy to read, entertaining and steamy as the rest of the novels.

I am glad that Leslie decided to give all brothers their own book, and I love how she closed it. Of course, I will not spoil it for you, but I do have to say, that unlike in some other series I have read, this one is tied up all sweetly with a nice Christmas bow.

Well developed characters, and a plot that was fast-paced, sweet, and romantic, fitting in well with the series, while also able to be read as a stand-alone book. I like Leslie North, and this was her at her best.

This second-chance novel reunites two people who should have never been separated and are a perfect fit. But because of misconceptions, and outside influences (what is it always with other people meddling in affairs they don't belong in - that is not just in novels but happens too often in real life. You would think people would learn? No? - Well, it makes a great suspenseful read, but not such a good experience) the two have to find each other again, after being apart.

Of course, that makes it hard to trust one another, and Leslie managed to explore that very well, without being melodramatic. And when you add financial problems to the mix, there are all kinds of emotions involved, which again, the Author fleshed out in details, making this an emotional, relatable read.

Oh, and dogs are involved. As a dog lover (and owner of two rescue pups), that is always a plus point in my mind.

A great end to a very good series.

'The Sheikh's Christmas Baby' by Leslie North is book three in the "Shadid Sheikhs" Series. This is the story of Kashif and Kristy. Kashif is wanted to have one more adventure before having to set up and assume the role of Sheikh. So he goes forward to win the Iditarod dog sled race. In Alaskan where he is going to train he meets an old love....Kristy. Kristy once feel for Kashif but is now resolved to not go forward with any of those feelings again. He left and never returned once with no word from him and now he wanting to take over her life it seems. This started off a little rocky but it ended great! "My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."

Kristy loved living in Alaska even with all its harshness. The farm was Kristy’s peace and solitude. The man had been there three days. The man was really good with the dogs and sled and wanted to enter the big race. The dogs let Kristy know if they didn’t like someone. The man was a triple threat: gorgeous, rich and persuasive. The man was Prince Kashif Shedid. Kristy knew word would spread about the prince being there, Prince Kashif was the next in line to be crowned Sheikh of Al-Harmid. Mistywood farm was famous for their racing sled dogs. Kristy’s father Wyatt asked Kristy to make sure the Prince’s visit went well. Three guys had asked for Kristy’s hand in marriage and she had never gone on a date with any of them. Mistywood and the dogs were Kristy’ first love. The Prince asked Kristy to eat with him at the diner and she did. Kristy found the Prince sweet and charming. Kristy was more and more intrigued with Kashif and they became lovers. Kashif did not leave Kristy’s side for a week. Kristy knew she was falling for Sashif. For three weeks Kashif was hers. Then the day of the race a a mid eastern man came up to Kristy and asked her if her name was Kristy Cohen and that the prince had returned home and she was not to contact him. Kristy tried several times to let Kashif know she was pregnant then that he had a daughter - Arella- but to no avail. Four years later Kristy is having financial problems and Kashif shows up out of nowhere but now Kristy has ice around her heart as far as he is concerned.
This was a great novella and lacked nothing as far as I am concerned. I was angry when Kashif just left but someone did stay behind to let her know. It also made me mad when she couldn’t get ahold of Kashif to let him know of her pregnancy and then their daughter. But Kashif did leave for his ailing father but he could have at least contacted her after he was home even if he had became the sheikh. I was glad he at least came back. I loved the characters as well as the plot. I loved the ins and outs of this story and I highly recommend.
