The last story in the Red Stone Security series wrapped up all aspects quite nicely...with its expected romantic suspense plot, the story wove through the intrigue, twists and turns quickly, drawing you through to a perfectly executed ending. Another fine story by Ms Reus.

The end of an amazing series has sadly finally arrived for readers. Lethal Game marks the end of Katie Reus's Red Stone Security series, an adventure that began 12 books and several years ago with a love story that has lasted through the entire series. Luckily Reus knows her readers well and gave us not only a heartfelt love story to end the series, but also some interesting side stories and an amazingly fulfilling epilogue that shows us all of the couples through the years and where they are now in their lives. If you haven't read the series, while you will still enjoy this Die Hard-esque story and the couples that claim their love, I can honestly say you won’t understand the true greatness that is the Red Stone family unless you go back and read from the beginning; so go buy them! With that shameless bit of advertising done, let's talk about this story.
Graysen has arrived at Red Stone determined to win back the love of his life, Isabella, after Isa ran from him almost a year earlier. They came together under some pretty unfortunate circumstances and I don’t blame Isa a bit for running, but she still loves him and that's obvious every moment they are interacting. Flung together on a new operation, Isa is determined to get her job done without allowing Graysen back into her life, much less into her heart. But once Isa learns the full truth of what really caused Graysen to break her heart, she realizes she's never stopped loving him. Sadly before she can really accept this change of heart and get her man, their operation explodes into a life threatening situation that could separate them forever.
Graysen is a great character, even though he definitely has some flaws, but that's what makes him such a good protagonist. He knows he screwed up with Isa, lying to her, and his love may not be enough to prove to her he is the man for her, but he's not going to let those doubts keep him from trying. Isa is a woman after my own heart, willing to put her life on the line for others as well as the greater good. She was hurt badly by the tragedy that brought Graysen into her life, but when confronted with the full truth and learning that Graysen protected her from a lot more pain, she accepts the truth that she never stopped loving him and goes after her man full speed ahead. Kicking terrorist ass as they work together to stay alive, the heat between them is nothing compared to the obvious love they share.
Secondarily, another couple also finally admitted their feelings for one another. Carlito and Emerson have been circling one another for a while now and we finally get to see them give in to their desire and admit that they are made for one another. I thoroughly enjoyed their story as well, even knowing that their relationship was the final loose end and that the Red Stone series was truly over. Both Emerson and Carlito are amazing--funny, sweet, loving, protective, and just the perfect amount of smartass.
With the HEAs of these two, the series comes to an end with high impact action, life and death danger, and the ultimate forgiveness and trust between two couples that are perfect together. Lethal Game is one of those stories that are much greater than its parts. Graysen and Isa are made to be, even if she has fought their love and connection for the past year, and Carlito and Emerson have finally come to the time where they will no longer deny their feelings for one another. I enjoyed immensely seeing these two couples come together in love and also to kick serious butt against the terrorists trying to kill them, but the best part of the book for me was the epilogue, to be sure. We get to see all the previous couples congregating and sharing their love and family connection. Getting to see who's having babies, who is still deeply in love, and how all the couples and little families come together to be one big family, not one of blood, but one of the heart, proving that even those that don't share our DNA can become the most supportive and loving connection there is. I am sad to see the series end, but I hold out hope that maybe one day in the future the series will come back--maybe with the next generation of bad ass security experts (*wink wink, nudge nudge). Once again, despite the seemingly short length of the story, Reus gives us an adventure, love story, and a kick ass ending all in one, proving that size doesn't matter 😃, but skill certainly does. I am looking forward to the next release from Reus, no matter the series or new direction she might be taking us in, proving once again that her spot of my favorite authors list is cemented forever. Thanks for an amazing ride Katie, for making us feel like a small piece of the Red Stone family, and the success of a fabulous author.

Title:  Lethal Game
Series:  Red Stone Security Book #15
Author:  Katie Reus
Genre:  Romance, Suspense
Blurb:   He broke her heart.

Graysen’s betrayal nearly destroyed Isa a year ago. Now that she’s working for Red Stone Security, she’s managed to piece her life back together after a rough year and a broken heart. Then he appears back in her life and makes it clear he’s not going anywhere until she gives them a second chance. A chance she refuses to take.

Now he’s back to claim what’s his.

Graysen’s never gotten over Isa and he knows he never will. It’s his fault she walked away, but he can’t seem to let her go. He quit his job with the CIA and called in every favor he had to get hired by Red Stone Security just to be near her again. But Isa doesn’t care that he’s desperate to make things right between them—she wants nothing to do with him. He doesn’t blame her, but he’s not willing to give her up. When they’re cornered by lethal terrorists, everything changes. Graysen and Isa will have to find a way to work together if they want to survive. Only then will he be able to convince her to claim the chance at happiness the past stole from them.
Thoughts: Sometimes you just need three words to describe a book – and ‘It’s Katie Reus’! That’s really all that needs to be said. Katie Reus is in a category all her own and there isn’t another author out there that is so steadily consistent with the sheer number of amazing books she puts out. There is not a Reus book yet that I have walked away from disappointed. Another great addition to her booklist!

"Lethal Game" has everything you could want in a well written book. We had intrigue, suspense, and a second chance romance with Graysen and Isa fighting together as well as Carlito finally asking Emerson out. You get a great romance and a mini romance in one awesome read. I have missed some of this series, but reading a Katie Reus book, I have never found one I did not love. It is always sad when a series ends, but I find it is also sad when any great book is at its end. The 'Red Stone Security Series', the 'Deadly Ops Novels', 'Moon Shifter Series' and others, Katie Reus has something for everyone. Without a doubt, she will write another great series for all of us fans of her books, and we will again fall in love with the characters. If you are a reader of romantic suspense this is a series you won't want to miss. I would like to thank NetGalley and KR Press for gifting me "Lethal Game". My opinion is my own. This is mine 4.75 Stars!

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the suspense--there was lots of it; I loved the adoring, protective alpha males--lots of them, too. The terrorist scenario reminded me (to a small degree) of Die Hard, the movie, which is one of my all time favorites. Overall a great book that I couldn't put down.

This is book #15 and the final book of the Red Stone Security Series. This one, as do all of them in the series, does quite well as a stand alone.

Working for Red Stone Security, Isa has found peace and belonging. Graysen broke her heart a year ago and she moved clear across the country to get away from the memories.

So to say she's surprised to learn Gray is also working for Red Stone is quite an understatement. And even further, he's going to be her partner on the next assignment.

Greysen has never forgotten Isa and he knows he never will. He's pulled in all kinds of favors to get closer to Isa.. he wants a second chance and he's will to do whatever it takes to get her back in his life.

But when their next security assignment puts them in the path of dangerous Russian terrorists , they are forced to work together if they want to survive.

Katie Reus is a consummate author of Romantic Suspense. Her books always contain the fast-paced action, danger, violence, and lots of spicy romance that her followers have come to know and appreciate. The characters are cleverly drawn, credible and just plain likable. I highly recommend this book, this series, this author if you are a fan of Romantic Suspense.

I wish to thank the author / KR Press, LLC / Netgalley for the digital copy of Lethal Game. Opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.

~ARC was permitted by the publisher~

As Ms. Reus said, this is the end of her Red Stone Security series. I am sad to let this go, namely because I read the series in one week from book one till book 13. If I was not permitted to read the 13th book of the series, i would have liked, read this yet. However, I am quite proud of myself. I really enjoyed it. The characters are very much alive in each of the books. And that made it one of the best series I have read.

In this book, we are presented with Isa and Graysen’s story. Both of them were hurt by the action from their past, until they are once again brought together.

I admire Graysen. I though he was another a*** but, from the his thoughts were presented, I am surprise that he was still alive and he wanted to have a second chance with Isa. It was an underhand, way to be with her, but it worked.

The twist? that was something else too! I love this book and I am truly sad for it to end.

I've read every book in this series, and I hate to hear this is the end. Isa and Grayson have a history, and it's not pleasant. Isa has no plans to ever even see Grayson again, much less have to work with him on a daily basis. Unfortunately for her, Grayson has maneuvered them into just that position. He is determined to get her back and apologize for the hurt he caused. Isa just wants to keep things business related. Both of them have to cast their desires aside though when terrorists take over the building they are in. In the meantime familiar characters Emerson and Carlito also end up pulled into the danger and pulled closer to each other. Honestly, I was even happier about them getting together than Isa and Grayson. They were so sweet and perfect for each other. I love that I got two great couples for the price of one.

I received an ARC from Net Galley for honest review.

The Red Stone Security Series is my very favorite that Katie writes. She gives the perfect blend of sexy and suspense in each and every story. I couldn't wait to read Graysen and Isa's story. Theirs is a second chance at love with a thriller of a story as a background. Graysen made a huge mistake and lost Isa and now is ready to fight to win back her heart. In order to get in her space he brings a job to Red Stone with the catch that Isa has to partner with him on it. I loved these two together. Even with Isa resisting him I wanted them back together. I also loved that Katie gave us some Emerson and caught us up on some of the Red Stone gang. I have loved every bit of this series and am so bummed that this was the last in the series.

I give Lethal Game 5 hearts!

The Red Stone Security Series by Katie Reus seems to be expanding by leaps and bounds as we get to meet the extended members and their happily ever after. And I’m sure I had mentioned innumerable times that this series is one of my top favorites to-go-to-when-I-need-a-lift-kind of books, and I keep revisiting this series every time my heart craves some danger and romance all rolled into one…and this is the last of the series.

Book 15 and the final of the series, “Lethal Game” is just as explosive as the previous Red Stone stories, bringing Graysen West to woo back Isa Harper back into his life. As a CIA circumstances had Graysen betraying Isa Harper and now leaving the CIA and pulling all strings to become an employee of Red Stone Security is just the beginning of his battle for love.

Isa Harper has finally left a painful past and has made a good life for herself with Red Stone, a small group of friends she calls family and a job that gives her satisfaction. Coming face to face with Graysen is a slap in her face, yet she agrees to work with him to get him out of her system once and for all. And working together to stop a team of terrorists only brings them closer and hopefully can get past the betrayal and hurt to have a future together.

Another captivating and short story revolving around Red Stone Security, “Lethal Game: is a fitting conclusion to the series and the epilogue is touching and sweet.

I will miss this series a lot!!!!

Lethal Game is the final book in the Red Stone Security series and I am SO SAD to see this series go. Reus has created a wonderful romantic suspense series where each book was different, even though the characters worked for the same company. Any time a series gets bigger than 5 books I start to worry that the uniqueness will fade and it will feel like reading the same book over again (This is how I feel about the Stephanie Plum books, BTW!). That hasn't happened with this series and I love Reus even more for it. I have read her paranormal series and her deadly ops series as well. While the books might all share a similar formula, they never feel trite or hackneyed.

The basic formula is alpha male has his sights set on smart female and danger ensues. Lethal Game is more than that basic premise though so don't be fooled. You really get 2 love stories in 1 book, which is a total win! The main story is of Isa and Greyson. Greyson and Isa were a couple a year ago, but she knew him as Michael. Yeah... he was under cover trying to catch Isa's father who was involved in all kinds of BAD stuff. It goes without saying, Isa is crushed when she finds out about his deception and moves to Florida, takes a job with Red Stone Security, and tries to move on with her life. Greyson has decided that he simply isn't okay with this and that she is the love of his life. He hatches a plan to win her back. The plan is a security job. They will both be under cover at an aeronautical corporation investigating employees at the request of the owner. Of course, if Isa and Greyson have to investigate, you know some one is doing something bad and they aren't happy with the arrival of Isa and Greyson. Hence, the impending danger part.

The second love story is of Emerson and Carlito. Emerson is a tech guru for Red Stone. She is not out in the field doing dangerous things! Carlito is a Miami PD officer. They met 6 months prior and have been best friends ever since. Both wants more, but neither knows how the other feels, and they can't imagine risking their perfect friendship. They are both adorable! Emerson is working remotely with Isa and Greyson, so she gets caught up in their danger, and Carlito is right there with her!

One thing I have enjoyed about this series is the believability of the danger. While the actual events might be a bit too much to believe, the basis for the crimes are always realistic. Espionage, theft, treason, and more all form the basis for Reus' stories and I find that to add to the believability of the story overall. Its plausible that someone might hack into the company computers, input a code into the site, and skim money. Its conceivable that someone might be selling US government secrets to ISIS. I adore stories that use current issues to create their drama because it gives the story a bit of the 'ripped from the headlines' feel.

I am sad to see this series go, but as long as Reus keeps writing, I will read whatever she releases because I haven't been disappointed yet.

In the finale of Katie Reus Red Stone Security series. You have a second chance at love story. When Graysen betrayed the women that he loved a year ago; he knew that there was only one way to get her back. That one way required for them to work together. He knew that if he could prove to Isa that he would never hurt her again that maybe there is a chance for them to have what he wanted most…Isa in his life forever.

As a second chance, love story goes. Lethal Game wasn’t too bad. The characters were somewhat likable. The story had a nice pace. Lethal Game had a perfect ending to close out a wonderful series.

This is the last in the Red Stone security novels and while other might disagree I am happy to see the series come to an end. Katie Reus has created a predictable story line but her ability to draw on that and bring slightly different elements is what keep readers hooked to her stories.

This book is a quick fast read because it is more about telling than showing you what is happening.

Personal background are glaces over giving the readers just enough to understand why the characters behave a certain way. Just like the other in the series it is full of cheese one liners, hot fast sex scenes and honestly action when they are not having sex.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for a advance copy.

It's a Bittersweet day for Red Stone Security fans. The 15th and final book has been released. Though Katie has more exciting projects in the works, I know I'll always love the men and women of Red Stone.

Isa is still heartbroken even a year after what Graysen did to shatter her. But she's now busy at Red Stone doing her job, finding the weak points in a companies security. But she gets a surprise when her boss Harrison decides to pair her up with Greysen for a job.

Isa is furious, but Greyson has every intention of winning her back, even if he only has a week to do it, and also has to protect her against terrorists who are intent on ending her.

This was yet, another incredible book from Katie. The perfect story, with a wonderful epilogue that gives us a peek into how the rest of the Red Stone family is doing. Just an amazing end of an era!

I've enjoyed this series and this one was no exception. The Red Stone Security books are easy, entertaining romantic suspense books that always give the reader lots of action, suspense, likable characters and heart pounding romance! This book is the last in the series and I think it ended on a very high note!

Isa and Grayson were intriguing characters and I loved the background between the two of them. They were in love but Grayson lied to Isa about who he was and so she no longer trusts him and wants nothing to do with him. Grayson is going to give up however and he wants Isa back in his life permanently. Grayson has managed to get Red Stone to hire him and assign him on a case with Isa. He has this one assignment to convince her that they can work things out and she can trust him. The suspense in this story was fun and very much a "die hard" plot but I loved it. There was plenty of action and given the background between Isa and Grayson I believed the romance. There was a secondary romance between Emerson and police detective Carlito that was also engaging and well written.

As a wonderful bonus the epilogue gave us a glimpse of all the characters that we've come to know and love from the series and was a wonderful wrap-up and goodbye to a great romantic suspense series.

I was up waayy past my bedtime with this one! In fact, I read it one sitting. Katie Reus' Red Stone Security series has always been a thrill ride, and this final one isn't an exception. Just one more chapter to find out what happens next, and boom, before I knew it, I was so close to done, it didn't make sense not to finish it.

I love the characters and family that Reus has created in the Red Stone Security world. Isa is hiding from the world, even if she won't admit it, after her father was killed by the FBI and she learned the truth about Graysen. She doesn't even want to entertain the idea of a second chance, even though she agrees to partner with him on a job.

Graysen knows he mucked it up and he wants nothing more than to make it up to Isa. He pulls in favors to get hired at Red Stone with a job custom made for Isa's skills.

From there its a freaking roller coaster! Reus keeps the story moving and draws out the tension and anticipation to keep you thinking "just one more chapter".

Oh, and if Isa and Graysen aren't enough to hold your attention, there is Emerson and Carlito. Trust me, you will want to play Rues' Lethal Game.

First off, thanks to Netgalley and the Publisher for allowing me to read Lethal Game for an honest opinion. I LOVE Katie Reus's series Red Stone Security. I have been reading them since she started writing them. This, I believe was more of a novella in that the plot did not seem as complex as many of the Red Stone Security books are. I always love the plots in that they are always more than just a small town romance. Lately, romantic suspense seems to be the genre I enjoy most and this book was right down that alley for me. It was enjoyable catching up on old characters from previous stories. Ms. Reuse makes RSS seem like such a great family to know and I enjoyed Isa and Graysen's addition to that family. They were both strong characters. I also enjoyed seeing more of Emerson and Carlito's romance. A truly enjoyable book. I understand this is the finale to this series and that makes me very sad....satisfied but always wish there were more.

Lethal Game is the 15th and last instalment in the Red Stone Security series. Like all the books in the series it can be read as a standalone.
As always with books by this author, the story and characters drew me in from the very beginning. We have two couples this time. The main couple Isa and Graysen and also Emerson and Carlito.
Lethal Game was action-packed and filled with suspense, drama and swoon-worthy romance. This was the perfect ending to a fantastic series and I’m a little sad to see it end. Highly recommended for romantic suspense lovers!
