What’s it About? Graysen West’s betrayal broke Isa Harper’s heart and her trust in him. A year later and Isa’s working for Red Stone Security and Graysen is desperate for another chance with her so he calls in all sorts of favors so that he can not only work at Red Stone, but work with Isa on a case. Isa on the other hand wants nothing to do with Graysen but when circumstances force them even closer together they have no choice but to work together and hash out their past.

Describe the hero in five words: Persistent. Dedicated. Alpha. Smart. Vulnerable.

Did you like him? Yes.

Why? Honestly, Graysen’s vulnerability was a big draw for me. His love for Isa made him emotionally vulnerable and that made him more likable to me. I don’t like characters who are too macho and while Graysen was definitely an alpha male, he wasn’t a one dimensional one. He had a lot of emotions going on and it made him a better character to me. I especially liked how Graysen respected Isa and her skills. He didn’t try to demean or undermine her in the guise of “protecting” her because he was the man and she was a woman.

Describe the heroine in five words: Intelligent. Courageous. Funny. Loyal. Vulnerable.

Did you like her? Yes.

Why? I love a female character who can do what Isa can. She worked as an active member of Red Stone and when things got dangerous she kept her cool and helped Graysen save the day. I also liked that she didn’t cave when it came to her past with Graysen. She didn’t make it easy for him to win her back not because she was punishing him but because she genuinely didn’t trust him anymore and he had to prove to her that she could trust him. I liked her dedication to her work and to the people she cared about the most though. Isa was kind and considerate and that balanced out the rough and dangerous work she did. I did have a bit of an objection to the way she reacted to seeing Graysen again. I’m not a fan of that particular move.

How convincing were the main characters as a couple? The chemistry between Graysen and Isa was hot but it was also something that needed to develop more due to the time the spent apart and the circumstances of their original relationship. I liked that Reus didn’t rush them into another relationship but rather made them work through Isa’s trust and betrayal problems. By the end I felt that they bonded and healed enough to make their second chance convincing.

Is there a “Scooby Gang” worth mentioning? Emerson and Carlito are two supporting characters who have a romance of their own going on in the background. I enjoyed the page time with them.

How “Lost” did you get in the story? It’s Katie Reus, it doesn’t take me long to get lost in her books and Lethal Game was no exception. There’s plenty of action, danger, and suspense to be had along with some red hot romance and likable characters. It’s a recipe for a good time.

This is the 15th (and final) book of the Red Stone Security series of Katie Reus. Not having read any of the previous 14 titles wasn't a problem though. We meet Isa, a determined, independent woman who is working undercover for Red Stone Security. We meet her as she just finishes a job.
And we meet Graysen. A very fine specimen, who is head over heels in love with Isa. But he screwed up. Big time. And so Isa has left everything behind a year ago, to start fresh. Without Graysen. And although she doesn't want to admit that she still has some feelings for him, she is determined to guard her heart and not be involved with man ever again.

Graysen has pulled every string to have a job together with Isa, just to be able to talk to her again. Of course, Isa is not amused and definitely not in the mood to make amends with him. But everywhere she turns, she runs into Graysen. And then their undercover job for Red Stone Security gets dangerous. Because Isa en Graysen stumble onto some very dark secrets of the company they are investigating. But the suspect isn't willing to let them reveal the truth. He will stop at nothing, not even to kill innocent people or kidnap bystanders. Like Emerson, one of the few friends Isa has left.

So now, Isa and Graysen have to work together to stay alive. Will the succeed in stopping the bad guy and will they have a shot at a second chance?
A very exciting and thrilling read. Now I still have to read all the other 14 parts, I guess. Four out of five stars from me.

What a great book. This is Isa and Graysen's story. And as of right now the final in the series of Red Stone Security.

A year ago Isa was in love with Michael, but he had a very big secret. His name was really Graysen West. That she had to find out when the FBI raided her father's house and he was killed. She hasn't spoken to him since even though he has tried.

Graysen has joined Red Stone and brought with him a very important contract. His only reason for doing so was so he could try and win Isa back.

One week on a job and if she can't work with him he'll leave, that's the deal. But a lot can happen in one week!

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

4.5 stars

Lethal Game was such a good read, an excellent addition to the Red Stone Security series.
The storyline and characters captured my interest from the first few pages and keep me up late into the night as I couldn't put it down.

I love this series, each book can be read as a standalone, each book has been a page turner and each couple has entertained me with their love story. Katie Reus is a talented author and I highly recommend this series.

Isa works for Red Stone. She goes into companies and checks their security. Graysen is former CIA and was undercover when he met Isa a year ago. He posed as a defense contractor and was working to take her father down for selling the identities of other agents. Her father is killed and she leaves D.C. and goes to Florida.
Now Graysen comes to work for Red Stone and aims to get Isa back. She can't forgive him for lying to her. They are teamed up to go undercover at an aeronautics company. They are trying to find out who's stealing money from the company. When they are trapped in the building with Russian killers, they have to save themselves and two friends who are trapped with them. Will she forgive him and give them a second chance?
A really edge of your seat book. It also tells the story of Emerson and Carlito along with Isa and Graysen. Two love stories in one. Sex. Russians. Action.

Please tell me it isn’t so, Lethal Game is the final book in the Red Stone Security Series. Katie Reus has given us readers action-packed romance series and none is more so than Lethal Game. As Ms. Reus has done in some other of her books we are given two romances within one novel. The main couple is Isa and Graysen, who have a history. I must say I like How Isa made Graysen work to win her back. It is as much a last chance as it is a second chance for Graysen. Then we also are given Carlito and Emerson relationship story too.

The grand finale in the series has the strong protective male and the independent just as capable female working together to survive the danger and bring down the bad guys. Love her heroes and heroines in this spectacular book.

I liked parts of this book, but for the most part, I was missing too much information to truly enjoy it. I missed the fact that it was the final book of a series when I requested it, and had I known, I probably would have passed. I feel that this book is definitely not part of a series that should be read out of order. I was missing a lot of background information, including details of characters that were introduced as if I should already know who they are. Because of this, I was more drawn to the secondary romance of Emerson and Carlito, whose romance didn't require as much introduction. I greatly enjoyed reading their romance, and if the book was only about them, my rating would be much higher. Due to my ignorance of the previous books in the series, I was unable to become invested in the romance between Graysen and Is a. I was too busy being confused about what the heck was going on. It's a shame. I will try out the first book in the series, hopefully that will improve my understanding.

I loved Graysen, he was quite the alpha man, "...once I’ve got you under my roof, I’m not letting you go. You’re mine and no one’s taking you away from me.” I really liked Isa the girl could speak her mind, "...and we’ve got a lot of time to make up for,” she murmured. “A year’s worth of sex, on top of all the regular sex we’ll be having.” I really liked this book.
