Robyn Carr returns with the second installment in her women's fiction "Sullivan's Crossing" series. In addition to the primary couple, Sierra and Connie, readers re-visit Maggie, Cal, and Sully from the first book. All of the characters are beautifully drawn, and there are enough obstacles in the plot to keep the story moving along to a very satisfying conclusion. This reader will be looking forward to the next one.

I LOVED What We Find so needless to say I was ecstatic to dive into Any Day Now!! Robyn Carr's novels are ALWAYS a treat, but this could be one of my favorite books from her to date!! I'm not sure if it's the fantastic characters in this series or the fact that Sullivan's Crossing seems like most amazing place ever, but I devoured this novel and then was mad at myself that I read it so fast--lol!!! Sierra's backstory touched my heart and I was so proud of what she had overcome to be the amazing woman she is today. Luckily for her she has a great brother in Cal, who with the the whole Sullivan's Crossing crew convinces Sierra to put down roots in their quaint town. Of course the handsome Connie (Conrad), has a lot to do with her decision to stay in town!! Both Connie and Sierra have had no luck in the romance department, but their immediate chemistry was palpable. It was so beautiful to see the transformation Sierra has throughout this novel!! I also loved that Robyn Carr gave us Tom and Lola, who I hope are the main characters in the next book ;) Any Day Now is a 5 star book that I highly recommend everyone read!! Go check it out!

This book continues the world of Sullivan's Crossing. The focus is on Conrad and Sierra but our other regulars get plenty of time and character development. Good content about addiction and sexual assault. Once again, Carr paints the region so well I can see it in my minds eye. I am very fond of these folks and look forward to the series continuing. I think this would work well as a stand alone but I'd strongly urge readers to start from the beginning of the series.

Carr threw in a character that injected some mystery without resolution (Neely). I can't wait to find out what her story is! I am all in for this series.
