A really good start in this new sci-fi series. With lots of political issues, adventure and this damn secret! I'm really wondering how the crew will really make it through all this.

Could not get into this book. I was very curious to see what was going on, but so much focus was given to the president's mindset and I couldn't care less. I know there's a second part to this volume, but this one did not interest me enough to download the other. I know this is just me - it's sure to please other readers.

This is a fun comic in which the 44th president inherits a big secret problem - there's aliens building a structure in the galaxy for some unknown purpose. It's part political thriller, part science fiction space opera. Overall, a fun comic that I'm interested to see where it goes next.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t really connect with the characters. I couldn’t memorize any names and the story didn’t grip me. It was not for me.
The plot was well thought but I just couldn’t get into it.

Cool alien story with a hard line art style. Some good science fiction here.

Had me up to a point and then, strange to say, it just seemed too outlandish a story to keep going with. I wanted to like it. Great art that harkens back to the 70s but not enough to save Letter 44, I'm afraid.

I'm not too much of a specialist on graphic novels and as long as the art doesn't look too bad I'm good with that, so for me it really comes down to the story and I could see quite a lot of potential in this graphic novel although having just gotten to read the first part I can't make a full statement on that. I don't have anything against sex scenes but this one was just wax too random. Overall I do think that this is a very promising beginning.
