Not my usual type of book but this is one of the great things about netgalley, we get to read genre which we might otherwise avoid. Meet me at Beachcomber Bay reminds me of a longer version of Woman's magazine stories. Good for a holiday read with fun but somewhat unrealistic characters. If you enjoy this type of fiction then it's a great choice.

With all the angst in the world today, it is a pleasure to escape into another comic adventure with author Jill Mansell. Yes, five stars for the enjoyment and total escape reading about stepsisters Belle and Clemency. In a small seaside town in Cornwall, watch as the fireworks explode and misfire, between Belle and Sam, Clemency and Ronan, and the further mishaps with all the characters. Thank you Netgalley for this galley.

Jill Mansell is my go-to author for a relaxing and funny read. Great for the beach, the tub, or when you've had enough reality in your life. I've enjoyed all of her books and this one is no exception. The plot strains credulity on this one a bit, but that's a romantic comedy for you.

Meet Me at Beachcomber Bay by Jill Mansell is the sweetest romance ever. I instantly was swept up in the drama and emotional rollercoaster of her two main charcaters. Two perfect strangers meet on a plane. Little did they know that they were the the ones for each other. Life is messy, complex, and complicated. A man who's love is stuck in a coma...and he meets a woman on a plane ride that reminds him so much of his wife. Something about the woman lures him. Just as he lures her. When the plane trip, ends...both depart on bad terms. Feeling stupid for flirting with a married man, Clemency feels frustrated. Then, years later, they met again. Only this time, it's under different circumstances. Sam's wife dies and he meets Clemency's sister, Annabelle. But he didn't know she was Clemens's sister until Belle introduces them. Clemency is shocked and so is Sam. Talk about complicated. Annabelle and Clemency have always had a tough relationship. Step-sisters. But Annabelle has her own issues that will bring more shocking relevations to light.

Finding one's self and fighting for what one wants are two major themes here. Meet Me at Beachcomber Bay is a perfect title to this tale. I enjoyed watching the scenes unfold. Jill Mansell has once again dragged me deep into the heart of her novels. I loved it. Heartfelt, warm, and hilarious. Every page made me want to know more. A blossoming love that is put on hold...the tension builds and wow. Beautifully written. Overall, I recommend this romantic women's story to all.
