The story is interesting but a little confusing at the end. Being a prequel to book one I’m hoping that things will make more sense in the next book. We learn a little about the shifters and finding mates. They definitely have a high sex drive and have no problem taking care of it. Scenes do get pretty hot.

This was a very quick read giving a little history of Remi and the search for his mate. I am looking forward to reading more books in this series to see where the journey takes him and his family.

"Searching for the Perfect Mate: Remi's Story, is a short intro into the 'Running in Fear' series. I have already read books one and two, and reading this one gives me more insight into Remi's introduction and place in the series. I now have a bit more insight into Remi's role in the other books that continue the series. I gave book 1 "Escaped" 3 stars, and book 2 "Abandoned" 4 stars. I find the story gets better as the series continues. If this is your genre and you love hot sex, and shifter stories, then this is a series that you will want to pick up. I would like to thank NetGalley and Riverdale Ave. Books for gifting me "Searching for the Perfect Mate: Remi's Story". My opinion is my own. This is mine 3.25 Stars!

Not the authors best work. I found myself confused and not liking how it was written.. The characters lacked depth and any real personality.
I got to 60% and couldn't go any further . This was a DNF

This is a quick introduction to Remi and his story. We learn about what he wants and how he starts to go about getting it. We don’t get a lot of information in this book just a taste of Remi and of what will come. I would have loved to have a longer visit with Remi ad maybe even see him interact with his brother. I loved the Running in Fear series and was happy to see this quick introduction to Remi. It is fast paced and well written and leaves you wanting to see more from this world.

I just couldn't finish. The series fell flat and some of the male characters were immensely unlikeable.

Remi wanted to find someone special to have in his life. Remi was a werewolf and he had a nickname of The Beast since he had killed a drug lord on his land. Remi needed intimacy not one night stands. A woman that would bring peace to his life. Remi owned The Taming Of The Shrew club and he headed there. He hoped Lance was there to play as he liked two males to a female to ease the woman’s fears and to distract her.
I’m not really into menage scenes . Also it was a novella and only twenty six pages long and not a lot of information. Then it also ended in a cliffhanger and I hate cliffhangers anyone who have read my reviews know this is true. So I really didn’t enjoy this very short story but it was because of personal taste.

This is a prequel to Running in Fear series. We meet Remi in this story. It’s a short book where we learn that Remi really wants to meet his mate. It gives details on how he learns who she is but she’s not in this book. Just a feeling he has and then follows it. I received a copy from Netgalley for an honest review.

Awesome start to this series... It sets your tongue for more while giving you just enough to satisfy you for now.... The sex is not and the action intense... I can't wait to see what the rest of this series delivers to us...

This the beginning of Remi's story. He is searching for his mate. It was only 3 chapters. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

I received a free copy from NetGalley; this is my honest review.
This is just an intro to the series but for such a short story it's packed with action.
And yes, for those who know the author, there is a menage sex scene in there.
Looking forward to the next book.

I received a copy from publisher and Netgalley for an honest review.
It's a prequel and it's 26 pages. The story is short but packed with menage sex, drama, and death. It's a set up for the shifter book Escaped in the Running in Fear series. It's enough of a tease to get me try the next book. Jaycee's future struggles with 3 alpha wolves should be an interesting read.

Searching for the Perfect Mate: Remi’s mate by Trinity Blacio.
In Searching for The Perfect Mate: Remi’s Story, the prequel to best-selling author Trinity Blacio’s Running in Fear series, Alpha shapeshifter Remi LeBlathe has only one thing on his mind tonight—sex. Unfortunately, he can’t enjoy his latest menage a trois near as much as he’d like to because he knows there’s someone out there who is his true soul mate.
Life can change in a matter of moments, as it does for him as he finds himself searching for his perfect mate in the most unlikely of places.
Absolutely fantastic read with brilliant characters. Although a novella the words packed a punch. I loved Trinity's books. 5*. Highly recommended. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book from netgalley.

Searching for the Perfect Mate: Remi’s Story: Prequel to Running in Fear Kindle Edition
by Trinity Blacio
A far better offering than Valentine's Cyborg, which I also reviewed on several sites. A sexy story of one alpha's search for his mate, and the hard choices and losses he must take to find her. Unfortunately, I've not read Running in Fear, so I'm a bit lost and put out that it had a cliffhanger. When referring it to “Remi's Story” I thought I would get the whole story, not just a short few scenes.
Of course, some of the scenes did send me running for a cold shower. The sex scenes were steamy hot. The MFM dynamic, particulaly the MM portion, their ready acceptance of each others touch and feel was well handled. The woman involved, her character was not complete in anyway, and she was kind of a place holder, sor of a living blow up doll that the author utilized for Remi to work out some issues.
The fight scenes were exciting and action packed.
The description of the character was a little lacking, it was at times to get a full vision of who looked like what when you've not read the 'sequel'. Prequels are tricky – just ask George Lucas. It would have been nice to know what Pierre and the others looked like.
Also more of an idea of what the club looked like. And Taming Shrew? In fact, a full reading of that play shows that Kate tames Petruchio as much as she tames him, so as a Domme myself, it isn't truly a Dom's kind of story.
All in all not bad, could use from fleshing out and padding. If it were turned into it's own full novel instead of a sort of long short story, it would be excellent.
3 stars out of 5

Interesting side story. I was interested in how Remi got to the main story. Poor Pierre though.

This was well written, with only a few minor editing issues. It jumps right into the action and the sex. Its hard to develop feelings for the characters with only 26 pages, I would have loved to read a full story. At first glance I disliked Remi, but I believe and hope there is more to the character than 26 pages can reveal.
