Nepal has always intrigued me and this author draws you in completely with her captivating style of writing. Nepal has suffered so much tragedy but the spirit of its people always shines through. I would highly recommend this book.

I wanted to read this book because the topic was of interest to me. Unfortunately I wasn't able to continue reading it because I lost interest quickly. I would have preferred this book to be written by the real Olivia instead of having every sentence start with "Oliva did.... or "Olivia thought" or "Olivia went to... this become boring and aggravating very quickly. Also I couldn't stand the beginning chapters about Olivia and her fiance/boyfriend Chris as Chris was a narcissist who was also an alcoholic and prescription drug addict. I couldn't believe anyone would want to be in a relationship with someone like that and it was too difficult to read.
