I was a bit heartbroken when I didn't love the first book in this series, Too Hot to Handle, as much as I have other Bailey books in the past. I'll be honest and say I didn't even finish Too Wild to Tame. Crazy, right!? With all that said though, I had high hopes for this book because this is about the wild, yet loving cheerleader and the stubborn coach. Bailey teased those in her Facebook group with this story for the longest time and I was super curious to learn more about this couple. Well, Tessa didn't disappoint and in fact, she knocked it out of the park, or should I say, kicked it out of the football field, with this one.
I'm a sucker for second chance love stories and it was so much fun seeing how Peggy drew Elliott out of his hard shell and made his realize how right they were for each other. I reveled in those moments where Elliott couldn't help but go all caveman on Peggy, especially when other guys showed even a hint of attraction to her. I loved getting to know Peggy more and seeing the reasons why she can't commit. It was hilarious seeing her interact with Elliott's daughter, too.
Tessa definitely makes you feel with this one and I connected to the characters in a way that I hadn't with the other couples. There's just something about Elliott and Peggy's story that drew me in right from the get-go and I couldn't stop reading until I saw how it all played out. It also didn't help that Belmont and Sage's relationship, while still in the background, was pretty prominent. I've been dying to know about them as well and I'm hoping their story is equally as engaging as Peggy's is. This one is definitely worth a read.

Tease me baby is by Katie Reus who I have been reading for years and have loved her Red Stone Security series as well as many of her other series in the romantic suspense category. This book and I guess this whole series is more sweet contemporary and I guess I was a little disappointed because I didn't know about this series. It really was too NA, a little too shallow for my taste. I kept wanting more of a plot that this book offered. The writing is was great and it was a cute plot, but just not what I thought I was getting. If I were judging just for me, it would be a 3 star book but if you are looking for a simple sweet story that can be read quickly, this is definitely a 4 star book. Thanks as always to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this book for an honest review.

Wow! And I do mean wow! This is now my favorite book in this series and Peggy is my absolute favorite of the Clarkson's!!
These characters are so well written and developed! Tessa Bailey continues to impress me with this unusual series.
This storyline is just so good. Peggy going back for closure with a man she has never been able to get over sets the stage for an amazing and emotionally raw journey that I will not soon forget! It allows us that deeper look into her character to show us why she has been the way she is in the previous book.
Elliott has never forgotten Peggy, he just doesn't know how to make the time in his busy life for anyone else. Being a successful college football coach takes all his time. He barely makes time for his own daughter. Elliott and Peggy together are and have been in the past filled with extremely intense raw need for each other. They are seriously hot -and between Peggy going after exactly what she wants from him and Elliott's sexy dirty talking, phew!!
Watching this story unfold, and these two with a little help, finally come to the realization that it would be way too hard to forget the other because they are meant to be together and so far in love is a really beautiful thing.
A wonderful 5 star read!
I will post reviews on Amazon and B&N on realease day.

This series does a great job showing how road trips are more about the journey than the destination. We haven't even gotten to the destination yet! I really enjoyed the dynamic between Elliot and Peggy. :)
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

I love this series!! With each new installment of Romancing the Clarkson's, we get one of the Clarkson siblings story. I was so excited to dive into Too Hard to Forget to read what Tessa Bailey had planned for Peggy!!!
Ohhh my, my!! I always thought Peggy was the most free spirited and wild Clarkson!! Engaged four times, but never made it to the "I do's". In Too Hard to Forget we find out the singular reason for Peggy's run-away brideness...Elliott!!
When Peggy was a senior in college she enjoyed cheerleading, especially because during the games she could make eyes at the handsome football coach. That coach was none other then Elliott Brooks. Eventually during Peggy's senior year, the recently widowed Elliott and Peggy had an intense (but short) fling. Peggy hasn't gotten over Elliott and during her road trip she's determined to get some kind of closure so she can move on. But what Peggy doesn't know is Elliott is not over her either!!!!!!
What a sweet read! I devoured this book in one day!! I love the direction Tessa Bailey took Elliott and Peggy's story!! Their chemistry was electric- wowzer!! I also loved how Sage and Belmont's relationship has been slowly unfolding in the background-- I cannot WAIT to get my hands on their book (Too Beautiful to Break) which is due out in September!! Too Hard to Forget is a 4 star read that makes the perfect addition to this addictive series! If you haven't started reading the Romancing the Clarkson's series, jump on board NOW!! As soon as I finishing typing this review, I am going immediately binge watch The Golden Girls! 😉

I knew it!
I just knew that Peggy was going to be the one that was going to seal the deal for me with this series and I WAS RIGHT!
Her and Elliott's story is the one that I have been waiting for, the piece of the puzzle that I have been trying to put into place. And TB nailed it.
Everything about Too Hard to Forget seemed to be amplified for me, at least in relation to the first two books in this series. The characters seemed more developed and easier to relate to, the story was more realistic and had a smoother flow - maybe it was just because I have been looking so forward to this story to have closure for Peggy, I cant be sure. But it was definitely my favorite of the series so far.
Certainly a bell ringer of a book - Too Hard to Forget. Its now on my re-read list. YEAHBABY!

Too Hard to Forget, Tessa Bailey
Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews
Genre: Romance,
I’ve loved some of Tessa's books and thought this sounded perfect. My bad though, I knew it was third in a series and thought they were that stand alone but connected by characters and events sort, where they can be read individually. This one though is too interconnected, there’s too much the reader really needs to know about what happened in other books to enjoy properly without having read them.
My fault, I made an assumption and should have looked further.
Peggy, I just didn’t really understand her. Pining over Elliot OK, I understood that, but to have been engaged four times in three years?? That’s pretty harsh on those guys, and makes me think of her as shallow and uncaring of their feelings, rather than someone so in love or hankering for someone from her past.
She’s fun, bright and breezy but almost too much so, she feels quite shallow. Even when she does intervene, as with Alice, she gets the right result but by default, not intention. I just didn't really understand her, but wanted to.
Elliot, if ever a guy to the cake for Mr Grumpy its him. He’s sour, rude, selfish (after all he was the adult and she a pupil/student even though she was 22), and seems to blame her for his feelings.
There’s certainly incredible lust between them still, sensuality that sears, but for me that didn’t really translate to any deeper feelings. I couldn’t see what connection other than lust they could have, they were really total opposites.
I didn’t like either how he was so happy to leave his 12 year old daughter home alone all the while. She’s a kid, you’re her dad, act like it.
As for his religious feelings, and the praying, rosary caressing, well he just didn’t feel that kind of guy, that just felt plain strange, odd.
Wouldn’t most 22/25 years olds get weirded out by a guy who starts praying aloud when having sex?
Which brings me to background, and the fact that maybe if I’d read the first two books I’d understand much more of this one, and that what feels weird to me would have a proper explanation that made it fit better. Don’t know, but after some of the great reads I’ve enjoyed of hers this one was a fail :-( Sorry.
Stars: Two, perfectly well written but I really need to read books one and two first to understand the characters.

Good Lord be prepared for cold showers and if you smoke, a cigarette. Second chance at love, a little humor thrown in and sex and you've got yourself a best seller.
Peggy has been engaged four times, beautiful, smart, former cheerleader, funny, and is on a road trip to New York with her siblings. They are fulfilling their mothers finally request...swim in the ocean on New Years Eve. But first a stop at her college for alumni weekend and get her ex out of her system, so she can finally move on.
Elliott is a living legend at the college. He is head coach of the football team, handsome, has a daughter, and has done nothing but eat, sleep, and breath football. He is a widower but wasn't a very good husband or father.
Three years ago a cheerleader caught his eye and they had a passionate affair, his wife had already passed away. Now she's back and determined to turn his world upside down and leave him in her dust. Will he realize there's more to life than football or will he lose the only woman he has ever loved?
This is the third in the Clarkson series. I believe it's my favorite out of all of them, so far. Loved it.

Another winner! I loved this book and immediately found myself immersed and totally engaged. Honestly, the doorbell or phone could have rung and I could have missed it - it was that good.
I've each book in the Romancing the Clarksons series, but wasn't sure about this one with Peggy's story. Up until now, she had been my least favorite Clarkson, but, wow, did the author change my mind. She brought Peggy from my least favorite Clarkson to my absolute favorite Clarkson.
This is a story about the one who got away and what could happen if you did go back...even if it's just to stay goodbye. This is a full and rich novel which explains so much about why Peggy is the way she is. We finally meet the man that made her that way and I'm surprised my kindle didn't ignite with all of the sparks flying between them.
This is a must read for fans of the genre and should be at the top of your tbr. The author is on my must read authors' list.

I FELT the characters pain in this one. So much pain and loss and grief. When the Coach finally woke up he goes all in.. whew.. couldn't put this one down!! such a change from me not connecting with the characters of the previous book :) Really enjoyed this one!!
