My preteen daughters and myself read these devotions on the way to school each morning. Thank you for an excellent book

I really enjoyed reading "It's Worth It" by Masey McLain. It contains 21 short chapters, one for each day with an idea for a prayer or something to ask for in prayer at the end of each chapter.
Masey's style is clear and accessible. It seems to me that she's a very authentic and amiable young woman. Sometimes she really spoke to my heart. Although the devotions are very basic, it's never boring or trite.
I especially liked that she shared some of her experience as the lead actress in the Pure Flix movie "I'm not ashamed" as well as her thoughts about Rachel Joy Scott (whom she portrayed).
I think this book is perfect for everyone that liked the movie or that wants to start reading devotionals. It it also great for "baby Christians" like me because it helps to find a starting point and gives great ideas on how to seek the Lord and what to pray for.
So if you wonder whether you should read it, it's definitely - worth it!

“Like a lot of people, I wonder what I would do in the last few moments of my life. If a gun were pointed to my head, would I still say I believe in God? I believe Rachel was able to say yes because she’d gotten to a place in her life where she knew he was worth it. The world left her empty, but Jesus satisfied her soul. He was everything to her.” -Masey McLain, It’s Worth It.
Masey McLain’s It’s Worth It, A 21 Day Devotional is full of wisdom and insight that can only come from a heart that is fully committed to Jesus. Teenagers everywhere have already been inspired by her portrayal of Rachel Joy Scott in “I’m Not Ashamed”, and her timely devotional is a wonderful tool for parents and youth leaders alike. McLain’s love for Jesus is so strong and her passion to pass that love on to other teens is unparalleled. I cannot wait to give this to the teens in my youth group.
McLain’s writing is clear and youthful. She is a true voice that adolescents will listen to. She peppers her devotional with many personal stories, word illustrations, and much scripture. I really appreciated the way each devotion is based upon scripture, and there are prayer sections at the end of each chapter to help the adolescent with praying.
It’s Worth It will be available for purchase on January 24th, 2017, which is also the DVD of “I’m Not Ashamed” is released, which tells the story of Rachel Joy Scott and the Columbine shooting on April 20, 1999, featuring Masey McLain as Scott.
