Find Your Awesome is a super cute book that is funny and very well written, it's also very organized. This books description is 100% right on. Judy writes this book with 30 days worth of things to do each day. I would highly reccommend this book, even to people who have already found their awesome, because this book is so good. There may be something that you don't already do, and you would like to try it. :)

Find Your Awesome: A 30-Day Challenge to Fall in Love with Your Playful, Imaginative & Colorful Self by Judy Clement Wall was a quick and enjoyable read that I got to check out thanks to my pals at NetGalley. This one is in a journal/checklist format, and it provides challenges around self-love and putting more kindness into the world. I didn't obvs take the 30 days to do all the challenges included, rather I just read through to see what this one was all about. I really enjoyed the concepts here. Some of the ideas were things I'd heard before (but appreciated hearing again), while others were new and useful ways to put more good into the world. I also really dug the style of this one. It was just designed in a really fun way that brought some additional positive energy to the read. I didn't go into this one thinking I'd get so much out of it! I wrapped this one with new strategies for how to make my dreams more of my reality.

I really love this book. I am totally inspired to do my own 30 day challenge. Thank for the opportunity to read this!

I enjoyed reading this book. The prompts go from deep topics to random stuff like design a T-shirt. I loved the cute illustrations. This book nudges at your creative side and also teaches the importance of self care and self love. One thing i know for sure is you wont get bored following the prompts for 30 days.

Although "Find Your Awesome" contains very cute illustrations, the ideas in the book are extremely simplistic. I did not find much depth or originality to the book. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the book to others, even to teens or youth, due to its highly simplistic content. There are many books that achieve the goal of connecting humor, creativity, art and self-help, but unfortunately this book fell short. Thank you to the publisher and to Netgalley for providing me with a free digital copy of this book. I was not required to write a review. The opinions stated here are my own.

I love the book! I did all 30 days and will do them again! I highly recommend it to anyone up for something new and something fun. NetGallery, really picked out a fun book here. The author isn't too preachy nor better-than-thou. She just is. And that's a really refreshing feeling after so many other books I've read and seen! Definitely a fun activity for all ages. I highly recommend everyone to follow what the book says even if it's just for once.
DO IT.

This book is a nice first step toward self discovery as well as self esteem boosting and being a journal it has lots of creative self expression. I'm going out and buying this book!

It was okay, but there are so many books out there like this. I might refer a patron to this if they were looking for something along this line, but it just wasn't for me. I am glad to have had a chance to try it though.

Everything about this book makes you feel like there are endless possibilities to be happy and productive and...awesome! Wall has assembled a collection of perky, optimistic, self-affirming activities that will help you become more aware of yourself and the people and things around you. The list and calendar format provide fun and appealing starting points for turning your attitude around, and will appeal especially to the bullet journal crowd.

Find your awesome seems initially to be a basic list of things to remind ourselves of our worth. Judy puts these together in an easy read format with just enough personalisation and anecdotes to make this more. The book, although simple, challenges the reader to be more and become more. The challenges are simple but thought provoking. Like many of these books the reader will get out what they put in. This is accessible and easily picked up again or dipped in and out of. A great first step to help find your awesome.

Did you ever suspect there was a lot of fun under the serious and belabored you? Here's how to find out if it's true. This book will bring out the playful self.

I recommend it if
You're not sure what to journal about.
You want to do Morning Pages but can't think of anything to write.
You'd like simple art projects to get your creativity unlocked.

Yeah, and if you just want to ramp up your sense of humor - that too.

Grab a copy and enjoy the next 30 days.

In a perfect world, maybe you wouldn't need a 30-day challenge to find and fall in love with your most playful, imaginative, and colorful self, but we don't live in a perfect world.

These kind of books all start to look pretty much the same after a while, and this one doesn’t really bring any new ideas to the table.
I cant help but feel that anyone who would be happy following the kind of challenges in this book probably doesn’t really need the book in the first place, unless its just to pass a bit of time in a mildly amusing way.
I got the feeling the book was aimed someone completely different to me, a teenage girl perhaps. Whilst I fully admit to being a child at heart, I couldn’t help but feel that some of the challenges were simply immature, akin to something to entertain children on rainy days.
As someone who has suffered from physical and mental illness for many years I couldn’t help but roll my eyes at many of the tasks…. ‘Write a bucket list‘… oh yes …lets see a list of all the things that I will have absolutely no chance of ever doing, because that will make me feel simply awesome I don’t think.
If you’re the kind of person who would feel awesome writing in lipstick on a mirror, finger painting, making things with popsicle sticks and hugging everyone, then this book is possibly for you.
Unfortunately I don’t think my awesome is quite so easily found.

This is a wonderful small book to work with for at least 30 days. It offers ideas and lots of creative space to find back to your awesome - and we are all awesome, we're just hiding it well.

Some of the ideas were not new to me, like writing a letter to yourself, but with the added bonus of a creative project to go with it, I think I might be more tempted to explore them.

Thanks to Judy Clement Wall and NetGalley for allowing me to read and review this book. I thought that it was cute and fun, and I wish that I had it in paper copy. Passing the title along to friends!

Interesting and motivational! Has some of the same information many other books have, but does have enough new insights to keep your interest.

This book is adorable, and I would absolutely buy it for our library, except that its journal/workbook format (perfect for the individual reader) will cause it to be written in by the first person who checks it out. But I am considering getting my own copy for personal use!

I really enjoyed this little book of tips and tricks! We used it as a self discovery tool in my middle school classroom after. I decided to utilize this as a mindfulness tool in my classroom after using it myself. It is a quick, easy to follow, fun adventure that I think anyone would benefit from - young and old! It forces you to carve out some me time, which is key to mental health!

If you have a friend who needs a boost, there may be no better gift to give her than this book. It’s a grown-up activity book giving thirty days of pick-me-up activities with integrated fun worksheets.
Two things that I really liked about it are:
- It’s not too ‘spiritual’. There’s no mumbo-jumbo. Yoga and meditation hardly feature. (Not dissing yoga/meditation but they don’t work for all.) It’s a very practical book.
- There’s not just a focus on the self, but also on making others feel good. I loved that aspect.
The tone is friendly, the illustrations are bright and fun.
One thought - I hope the publishers will offer a download for the worksheets,( essential for the Kindle edition) , so don’t feel inhibited by worrying about ‘spoiling’ their book. (Or others seeing it on the shelf and having a nosy.)
Finally, you might have noticed that in the first line of this review I called your friend ‘her’. This book is clearly aimed at women – the illustrations see the reader as female. However, if your friend is a man who’s secure enough to live with that, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for him too.
Thanks to Net Galley and HCI books for this uncorrected reader’s copy.
PS – This book is already on sale at Amazon UK and I just went on there and bought a couple of copies to give as gifts!
