This was a fun book. The illustrations are cute and attracts my inner child. As much as the ebook was enjoyable, I must get my hands on the paperback. The book has exercises such as doodling, lists and coloring to help discover your self love. I read each day during my work lunch break or sime me time on the weekends. It was definite always a little pick me up during my day, and always helped me out a little positivity toward myself instead of always reflecting on faults. I’ll be purchasing copies as gifts for friends and family to enjoy.

Find Your Awesome is an entertaining step by step instruction workbook that will help you introspect and learn to love yourself. This book is in the form of a 30 day challenge, but you can shorten or lengthen the period according to your need. I took more than 30 days to do some and I didn’t even do those challenges in that order (which probably is not how you should do).

If you are looking for a life changing piece of advice, then Find Your Awesome may not be your book. But you will definitely love it if you are up for fun and encouraging challenge to do. The book has place for you to write your lists and goals (like a journal) but I ended up using the good ol’ pen and paper.

Final thought: Entertaining way to introspect and accept self love.
Recommended to: Self help lovers who are looking for a monthly challenge.

I am enjoying the digital version of “Find Your Awesome,” but to enjoy it to the fullest, a print copy would be ideal. Since it is digital, I find myself forgetting to do the next days activities. If it were a print copy, I believe I would see book on my desk and remember to fulfill that days project. Often when we set out on a kindness quest, we focus solely on others. “Find Your Awesome” reminds us that we need to show that same love to ourselves. That isn’t as easy!! Maybe that’s why I “forget” to do the next days activity! Instead of vague “go find a way to love yourself” and “live you life to the fullest” propaganda, the author gives you actual activities to practice. Which is amazing, because honestly- sometimes we don’t know where to start. Most of us aren’t going to read a book one day and wake up the next morning feeling overwhelming self-love. We build our self love one day at a time.

Whether you pick up this book and open to a random page or dedicate a month or more of your life to increasing self appreciation, you won't be sorry you started this adventure.
While I would have preferred reading this in a print format, so I could doodle along with the artist's brilliant sketches, the ecopy I received from Netgalley for review purposes was very inspiring. It was a joy to read and I know I will revisit this book from time to time.

The ideas are simple to implement. Some seem silly, others are heart touching and all will inspire you be kinder to others as well as to yourself. Following through on any activity will bring a smile to your face.

Have fun with it!

What a wonderful book! Very inspirational and I love the idea that you can do it in 30 days or even do each one for 30 days, whatever suits your lifestyle. I can't wait to put more of it into practice, though I'm never sure if i'll be brave enough to hug a stranger!

I found this book pretty cool, this book make you do things that should be habits, because self love is something that everyone deserve to experiment, self appreciation, happiness with our own body, with our life, with the people who loves us. This book make you think about things that are easy to do but we never do

Now, this book right here is: Awesome!
I love how the author involved art to make the daily challenges fun and even though I suck at drawing a Mandala, I can safely say that after five tries I managed to stick to a beautiful pattern.
I received a digital copy of the book from NetGalley in exchange for a review.

Cute book which gets you to stretch yourself every day. Some experiments are quick and easy and others take time. Highly recommend it.

At the moment I will only give a rating to the book and I hope it is possible for me to write down my reviews on Amazon. Barnes and Noble and Goodreads. I am very grateful to you because your publications are great, especially in the topics that interest me most. Thanks and blessings.

Sadly, I DNF'd this book.

I feel that it would be an amazing self-help book for someone who is, perhaps, not a self-help advocate like me. I have read so many self-help and happiness books - which is why I requested this one - and I just felt like this one didn't quite match up to my expectations.

I was really hoping that it'd give me some practical, awesome tips - unlike "make a mandala", which I believe is day 7 of this 30 day challenge.

I think that this would be a great book for someone who is struggling, particularly someone who is perhaps older than myself (as some of these I was really rolling my eyes at). DNF'd, but I could see some people enjoying it.

This is a cute little book to help be positive and help others be positive too. You should buy the actual book instead of the Kindle because there are times to doodle and jot down some things also.. Cute gift to uplift someone.

The “tasks”/ challenges in the book are positive, encouraging and creative. It contains many of the things popular self-help books dish out: gratitude, affirmation, taking a digital hiatus, but Find Your Awesome does it in creative, interactive ways. Design a T-shirt to tell the world (and yourself!) some truths about you, list your super-powers, commit random acts of beauty. I love the idea of making a Not-to-do list.

The bright colorful drawings are charming. My only gripe is that they are so clearly oriented towards female readers. While women probably buy most self-help/ journal books, making it appealing to both genders could encourage men to participate in the projects. It could be a fun couples or small group activity.

I like that the book does not have too much writing. The author gets to the point without complex data or endless repetition. Clement Wall concludes, “choosing love is an act of courage, and choosing to love yourself may be the most courageous act of all…There is no better gift you can give to the world than to bring into each day your best, most confident, most fully realized self – the person you become when you shower yourself with love.“

Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for granting access to an arc of this book for an honest review.

Imaginative self awareness book

Judy Clement Wall did a great job with this instructive journal.
More than a self-help book, it is a rather light hearted way to see yourself and the world. I loved the graphics. I read this in ebook form and definately needed another notebook for some of the activities. One of the things I liked is that you could move around the days, the activities did not have to be done daily or in order.

I received an Advance Reader copy of this book.

This was a neat book to read about a subject that few people want to talk about. The illustrations seem a little juvenile, but some made me laugh out loud (like imagining my impending marriage to a hamster). I could have really used this book as a teenager with little self-confidence, and it probably would have made an impact on me. A lot of the exercises are silly, like designing a shirt, and others more serious (making a life long dream list, or a self-portrait).
I would suggest this book for teens and adults to reflect on their own self-worth. The book itself probably isn't directly for children, but some of the tasks can be adapted for children, or for parents working through it to share with their kids. You can work through this at your own pace and there are few limits placed on this as a tool for self-discovery.

Thank you Netgalley for a free copy of this awesome book in exchange for an honest review!

Take a break! Consciously, deliciously, take a break today and fill it however you want to.

I absolutely LOVED this book! It is a mix of Arts, journal, collection of thoughts and quotes, drawings and tips to do a 30-day-challenge by yourself with yourself.

It is totally the kind of book I love. I even have a collection of journals like this one and I will see if I can find a paperback to buy as a gift for myself!

PS: Review from an introverted woman who loves spending some quiet time by herself.

I like how it's a challenge but in a fun way. I also like how there are activities where you draw stuff and color them which are so cute!

I like the idea of designing a book cover for my life story because according to the author, my life story is the one I'm writing every single day, from scratch, armed with nothing but my wits and big curious heart. She tells you to "Own it. Love it fiercely. And don't let anyone else try to write it for you. Oftentimes, we let others dictate our lives without realizing it."

Doing this activity made me realize and itconstantly reminds me that I am the boss of my life and the author of my own life.

It is a 30-day challenge and it won't take much of your time in a day. All you need to do is carve out a few minutes each day to fully engage with yourself; reflect, and unwind.

We all need a little help loving ourselves sometimes! And that's okay! This 30 Day Challenge journal is the perfect way to remind readers to care for yourself as well as others!
Some of my favorite challenges in this book are:
Celebrate Your Body
List 10 People You're Grateful For
Make a Songs-to-Belt List
Make a Not-to-Do List
and
Decide What Matters

As a mom, I give a lot of my "caring" energy to my kids and my husband. This is a great way to step back and remind myself that I am just as deserving of my love and care as they are!

I decided to try and find my awesome by following the 30 day challenge. I must admit I didn't always exactly do every one of the daily challenges and sometimes I did more than 1 in a day. I can't say that it completely changed my life but there were a few good tips which I want to try and keep up with, such a being unexpected. I also really enjoyed making my own t-shirt designs.

Love this book! Find your awesome does exactly that, it tells you to tap in to that love that you give to others everyday, and shove it your way also. Be your own cheerleader, and follow the 30 day challenge, you'll definitely be loving yourself a lot more, than when you started. Great mindful book, best suited for journal jotters, and those who want to get reacquainted with themselves.

As a beginner journal-er (well, beginner after YEARS), I found this book very enlightening. Especially since I a tend to be a bit of a pessimist. It's been an excellent read through and given me lots of ideas which I also plan to share with my oldest teen. I see myself going back to this book often and I am very glad I was given the chance to review it. Thank you.
