I got lost in Lara Adrian's writing! I loved every page, chapter, and word that I read. I can't wait to read more in this series in the future!

After struggling throughout her life, Avery Ross is living a dream life, at least for the next 100 nights. She has been staying with her billionaire lover Dominic “Nick” Baine. After agreeing to stay for another 100 days, her past is coming up to haunt her. She must decide if she can trust Nick with her dark secrets.
This was a pretty good story. It was short, but filled with plenty of well-written erotic scenes and a full story. I enjoyed reading it. I highly recommend.

The the second story in the series is smartly written with characters who draw you into their lives from the onset. They are real and relatable, driving the story, giving it dimension and drama. The push/pull dynamics between Avery and Nick brings so much chemistry to their relationship. Avery turning controls over to Nick has been inevitable as their story evolves throughout the series.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Me previous experience with this Author has been mixed ....... some of her books have been really enjoyable , well written with great characters , but some I have found to very lightweight .
Unfortunately this is one such .....the story was almost similar to previous plots , as though it incorporated parts that had been taken out of other more successful books .
It is almost a hit and miss as to whether the book will good or poor ........ but I will probably persist in reading her books - as when she is good , she is very good

I enjoyed part one, For 100 Days, in this series better than this one but maybe part 3 will help make the story more coherent. Avery and Nick's romance continues and Avery finally tells Nick about things that happened in her past. Waiting for the 3rd book in the series.

The end of this book has a crazy twist and I'm still on the fence if I'm going to read the last book and see if it come back from that shocker!

I voluntarily read an advanced review copy of this book

While at times predictable this book was still great. I loved the couple...I loved the story... and I love where it is going. Lara Adrian is doing a great job with this series, she gives a full book and somehow throws a little cliffhanger in there that keeps you wanting more. Very good book, great series, can't wait to see what is next.

So deliciously good! I loved the first book and I love this second one more! We end on a cliffhanger that is going to have me completely impatient for the the next book in the series.

"One hundred nights. For each day I deceived him, he demanded a night in return. He wanted all of me. In his bed. On his terms. At his total mercy."

In the first book, you learn that both Avery and Dominick, are hiding from their past.

"the broken parts of me recognize the fractures in him"

Part of Avery's secrets don't stay hidden and the first book ends with Nick demanding a 100 nights from here for lying to him. A hundred nights, completely at his mercy.

"Nick and I came through some of my worst secrets together, but there is more he doesn't know. Things I don't dare tell him. A truth I intend to take to my grave."

The last of Avery's secrets are haunting her ever step in book 2. She's desperate to make it go away all the while she learns more of Nick's secrets that may tear them apart.

Despite seeing how cold and distant Nick can be, he isn't able to stay that way with Avery.

"Tell me you're mine, baby. Whenever and however I want you."

We don't get Nick's POV, but if you look close enough, you see that Avery means more to him than a temporary destraction.

I wasn't expecting the revelation at the end, but while it pushed Avery away, it pulled me in even more. I can't wait to see how Nick goes after Avery in book 3! ARC provided by NetGalley.

Avery Ross is living in a dream. She meets powerful billionaire Dominic Baine and she wants no one else. She knows one day her past is going to come back to haunt her and she is going to lose Nick. But will it be her secrets or his that tear them apart?

The love story between these is to is deep, meaningful and really shows the growth of the two characters as time moves on. The story ends on a cliffhanger with her walking through the streets of Paris. I can't wait for the third and final book of this series to see what happens between them and their ending.

I kind of love Lara Adrian books, and her new erotic series is no exception. For 100 Days introduced us to Avery and Dominic and turning the last page left us all hanging to see what would happen next for this steamy couple.

And let’s just say that For 100 Nights does not waste any time getting to that steam. Nick is powerful and has the world at his fingers and as Avery quickly learns, nothing is off limits. The relationship between these two is all-consuming and wild and he will do anything and everything to make her happy. That said, it’s not all fancy parties and stunning penthouses… both Avery and Nick have secrets and they are both trying to figure out a way to trust each other enough to share them. As things come to light, Avery has to decide if she can forgive Nick for a betrayal she never could have imagined.

So I completely enjoyed this installment of the story… I like that there is some underlying story to this that at least moves a plot along. That said, I would say about 75% of this book is sex, sex, sex. I’m not a prude by any means… seriously. But these two were like rabbits on meth. I don’t even know if it’s possible to have as much sex as they did…I feel like even after Nick just had sex, he was raring to go in less than 5. I’m all for endurance and staying power, but seriously.

We also get some deepening of the relationship between Avery & Nick – not just because of the sex, but you see growth in the relationship between them and I really enjoyed that.

The focus of this book though seems to be Avery. We delve into her past a bit more and learn more about her mom, why she’s in jail, and who from her past is now reappearing. We see her grow more as a character and come into herself, becoming more secure in not only her sexuality, but her painting and what she wants to do with her future. I anticipate the next book will provide us with more of Nick’s history and the things that have influenced who he is today.

There is a bit of a cliffhanger at the end of this story (I know some of you hate that) but it truly didn’t bother me. It made sense to have it end where it did, and I for sure, am looking forward to book 3.

Would you agree to spend 100 Nights with a man so tempting you knew you would loose yourself deep in your soul? It’s what Nick asks of Avery. A passion filled time that has an expiration date. Or does it?

For Nick, Avery is the obsession that he just can’t get enough of. A desire that consumes them both. For Avery – her time with Nick is surreal. Luxury knows no bounds where Nick is concerned. If fact – he loves to shower Avery with all of the luxuries that she has done without most of her life. There is just one problem in this arrangement that the two have casually fallen into….Avery hasn’t told Nick everything about her past. A mistake that is coming to haunt her in the middle of her life with Nick.

When will Nick discover all of the ‘facts’ that Avery has kept from him about her past? Time is quickly running out for this pair of lovers….

Let me start out by saying….if you haven’t read For 100 Days you need to read it quickly. All of the events that happened in the first book of the series are important in setting the scene for this novel – For 100 Nights. As the book begins, we find that Avery and Nick are enjoying their bargain to spend 100 nights together. The rush of lust and sexual energy rushes off the pages of the book with gusto. Definitely an erotic adventure that I am lucky to be privy to (well…you can be too if you grab the book)!!

As the time that Avery and Nick spend together lingers, secrets begin to unravel about Avery’s past. The twists will leave you anticipating Nick’s reaction with each moment. I am a little picky with plot twists. Over the years, I have learned to unravel them pretty early on in a book. This book wasn’t hard to figure out, but it still was a great journey getting to the revelations.

The story wraps up with a cliffhanger. No surprise there since there is another book coming in the series. Some readers do find them annoying, but I have found they do not sway me one way or another in this series. Why? Well – that means I get more of the notoriously sexy Nick!! Seriously – he is one hot Alpha that goes down like a cool, clean drink of water. I cannot wait to see how the repercussions of Avery’s past collide with her future. Now – seriously…..go click Nick and Avery’s saga today.

I am a huuuge fan of Lara Adrian's vampire fiction romance novels. This was my first non paranormal novel from Adrian and I am not surprised she shines in this genre as well.

ARC received for review

4.5 stars

We think that all the secrets are reveled, but then a cliffy with the biggest one of all. Lots of sexy moments and plenty of drama. Nick was still alpha and bossy. Avery isn't afraid to go find answers for her questions.

Lara Adrian does it again with this second book of the 100 series trilogy! Having read the first book, For 100 Days I dived straight on into the story but you could have just as easily pick up this book if you haven't, its written with lots snippets of the first book to either help remind you of what happened previously or to inform you of what is going on in the background of the lives of Avery Ross and Dominic Baine.
The story tells us more about the why's and ways of the characters behaviour than the first book and of how the chance meeting between two people in the lobby of a very expensive apartment building turns into a full on steamy and erotic love affair that neither one was expecting and for it to go as far as it does. You get a lot more of a feel of the sexual tension and passion across the pages of this book as they become more intense and entangled with every encounter that happens between them.
Without revealing any spoilers just when you think that all you need to know about Avery and Nick is written in this second part of their story don't ever underestimate the power of this author's writing as "Bam" she dropped a bombshell on me just when I thought it was safe to breathe again! this was a very clever move and totally unexpected, it left me absolutely gobsmacked.
This book is so angsty and full of tension that it thrilled me as well as excited me, it will totally rock your socks off! I am loving this series so much I cant wait for the final installment to see where this amazing story will take us.

3.75 stars--- FOR 100 NIGHTS is the second installment in Lara Adrian’s contemporary, adult 100 SERIES erotic, romance trilogy focusing on billionaire businessman Dominic ‘Nick’ Baine, and artist Avery Ross. FOR 100 NIGHTS should not be read as a stand alone as the story line picks up immediately upon the events of book one-FOR 100 DAYS.

Told from first person point of view (Avery Ross) FOR 100 NIGHTS continues to follow the building relationship between billionaire businessman Nick Baine and artist Avery Ross. For three months Avery kept secret her background and circumstance from the man with whom she was falling in love, and at the end of book one Dominic Baine demanded 100 nights of full access to our story line heroine in return for her dishonesty and lies. What ensues is a highly, sexualized relationship between Avery and the man whose secrets run deeper than Avery could ever have imagined. While Avery struggles to keep one step ahead of her past, the reality of Nick’s relationship with our heroine begins to unravel before her eyes.

For fans of the erotic, romance genre the 100 SERIES trilogy is a familiar trope with many similarities to another popular trilogy-the broken, billionaire alpha male with issues of trust, relationship phobic, a history with a woman who destroyed his heart, and too many secrets and a hidden agenda he hides from the story line heroine. Dominic Baine’s attraction to and need for Avery borders on the obsessive resulting in an unsettling build up between Nick and the woman with whom he is falling in love. The $ex scenes are intimate, intense, numerous and graphic.

FOR 100 NIGHTS does suffer somewhat with ‘middle book syndrome’ in that the slow build skirted many of the issues without answering all of our questions. The premise is intriguing; the romance is erotic and intense; the characters are passionate and playful.

Since this was Book 2, I decided I had better go and read Book 1 first, which I did. And I enjoyed Book 1. But Book 2 - well let me just describe my experience:

Hmmmm....this is sexy, sexy, sexy
Wow - this is really sexy writing
Arggghhhh - why do people have to keep secrets? This is so cliche. She's afraid to tell her secret because it's so awful and could possibly destroy his life. And he has secrets - but he's dark and brooding and isn't going to tell them, other than he's not a good man.
Ahhhhh - finally the secrets come to light. His and hers. And they get past them.
Sigh - All is good.
Crap - There's a Book 3. So what could possibly happen now?
BAM - Out of left field comes the ending/cliffhanger and I was completely taken by surprise.

For most of this book, I thought it was going to be a 3-3.5 star read. Same story, done a zillion times over. Don't get me wrong. It had great writing, great editing (thank goodness), an engaging story line, lots of hotness between the characters, secrets, intrigue. But that ending, I didn't see it...and I loved it. And I need Book 3.

For 100 Nights
100 Series, Book 2

I Picked Up This Book Because: I’ve been exploring Lara Adrian’s books for a while now. I really enjoyed book 1 (For 100 Days) so when book 2 became available on Netgalley I dropped everything

The Characters:

Avery Ross:
Dominic “Nick” Baine:

The Story:

It’s been whirlwind 5 months for Avery and Nick. Avery seems to have secret after secret, starting with her mom serving time in jail for killing her step-father (the bastard deserved worse than death) and ending with the doozy we find out in this book. I won’t spoil it for you. Unfortunately we don’t exactly get a HEA at the end of this book but the situation is not hopeless. I think all will be reconciled in For 100 Reasons.

Overall I enjoyed this book. I did begin to only skim the sex scenes, they are a highly sexual couple so the scenes are numerous. But I liked where the story went and I am very interested in the conclusion of the series.

The Random Thoughts:

Read With Me: For 100 Nights

The Score Card:

In the second book in this saga, Avery and Nick are falling deeper in love despite the lies and secrets that they both are hiding behind. Once Avery's secrets are revealed, Nick's love for her is but to the test but it only makes him realize his true feelings for her and he admits he loves her. Avery can deal with the secrets that she learns about Nick's past but it is the lies that brought them together that tears them apart. All of the twists and turns make this a great read. I cannot wait until the next book in the saga to see how these two work out their issues.

I very much enjoyed this second installment in the series. The main characters make me want to grab them and shake them and tell them to talk to each other. They don't seem to learn from previous mistakes at all. Having said that - I find them to be engaging characters and I'm looking forward to the conclusion of the story
