An honest review thanks to NetGalley. I would highly recommend reading the first two books in this series before starting this one. I liked the first book, the second I really did not like so I came into reading the third with very low expectations. Surprisingly I liked it the best out of the first two. I felt that Luce was more devoted to Brooke and the family dynamics coming out to play made the plot very worthwhile to read. It will be confusing and not as great if you have not read the first two books.

'Razor's Edge' is edge of the seat stuff and it had me hooked from the start. Luce Potter is head of the Yakuza and is hell bent on revenge after her lover Brooke was almost killed by a traitor in their midst. Throw in some Russian mobsters and a tight-paced story that pulls the reader right into the shady underworld inhabited by Luce and her compatriots and you won't want to put this book down. Isabella has written a tense and addictive thriller that still manages to show the softer and intensely passionate side of Luce and Brooke's relationship. I loved it and highly recommend this 5 Star read.

I was given this ARC by Netgalley and Sapphire Books Publishing in return for an honest review .

A fitting, absorbing third entry in the Yakuza series, still imbued with the intrigue and sexiness that made the preceding volumes so good. The author continues to add the necessary depth and conflict to the Brooke/Luce relationship to keep readers absorbed. I enjoyed the work thoroughly.

Razor’s Edge was the third book in the American Yakuza Series. I was initially intrigued to read this book by its description of the code of honor. I thought it might have an interesting plot, with complicated characters, and maybe even pay back for a wronged committed. This novel had all that…and much more.
I did not read the first two books of this series, but I was able to follow without any problem. However, now that I did read this book, I will read the others. It was interesting and entertaining!

I rec'd an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. No synopsis needed. This story in the 3rd in the American Yakuza Series featuring Luce and Brooke. To really appreciate and follow the storyline, you should read the books in sequence. As a fan of the author, I found this book somewhat lightweight, however Brooke showed a newly displayed steeliness and as a result, I eagerly anticipate further books in the series. 3.5 stars.
