It sucks when your life is a stereotype. Agnes’s professor husband has left her for the hot, local Pilates instructor. Left with a lot of time and pent-up anger on her hands, she gladly accepts her great-aunt Effie’s request for hep restoring the Stagecoach Inn. Unfortunately, they barely have time to het their hands dirty, when the body of local trouble maker Kathleen Todd turns up on the premises. Both Effie and Agnes had had very vocal disagreements with Kathleen before her death and they become the police’s prime suspects. Neither one of them considers themselves to be a Jessica Fletcher or a Miss Marple, but if they’re going to get out of this mess, they’re going to have to do some sleuthing on their own. For fans of modern cozy mysteries with snarky, erudite heroines
