This is the first of this author's books that I have read. It was a good read. It kept me interested throughout. Additionally, some of the twists at the end left me surprised. However, I thought that the final twists could have been drawn out a little more. This is a book I would recommend to all.

Very good book. A lot of suspense. I wasn't sure who was the evil one until all most the end! I would recommend this book.

What a fun, suspenseful read! I don't want to say too much to give the plot points away, but it was wonderful! I didn't know until the very end what had happened!

A story with many twists and turns and an ending that was truly unpredictable. Excellent writing ensuring the reader becomes engrossed In Anna's story willing her to be innocent of the terrible murders of young boys happening all around her.

Tracy Buchanan is a new author to me and after reading the synopsis I was very interested in this story. Having to resort to violence to protect ourselves or our family is something that we all hope we will never have to do, and Anna is forced to deal with the backlash from her community after protecting her daughter from an attack during a walk on the beach. This book really shows how the media has such a huge impact on our lives and how easily people believe what they are told, without searching for the truth themselves. I thought No Turning Back was full of suspense and it left me guessing throughout the whole book as to who the killer was. I absolutely loved the ending and I never saw it coming.

Brilliant. Totally gripping. I read this book in one sitting. I had to know who the Ophelia Killer was. Wonderfully written. The suspense keeps building throughout the book. The ending is brilliant and totally unexpected. I will definitely be recommending and talking about this book for a long time.

First, thanks to NetGalley for an e-book ARC of this book for my enjoyment and review. This is a very-well written story of Anna, a radio commentator, who becomes involved in a murder done in self-protection of herself and her baby. The story moves at a very rapid pace, lots of little plots and characters, with super development. I am not usually a psychological thriller reader, but this book really got me – look forward to more from Tracy Buchanan.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Crooked Lane Books for the e-ARC of this title in exchange for an honest review. We all say we'd do anything to protect our child...but would we, if it came down to it? A mother protects her daughter, but in the process the past comes back to haunt her, family secrets are brought back to the forefront and she has to cope with it all. It was very well plotted out and the characters were well developed. I kept reading long into the night. Highly recommended.

Thank you to Net Galley and Crooked Lane Books for giving me the chance to read and review No Turning Back by Tracy Buchanan.
I found the beginning of this book a little confusing and hard to get into. It was probably once I had read the first third of the book that I was totally hooked. At this point I found the book came alive, to the extent that I felt like I was actually watching it on TV! The story was sinister and the plot was as twisty as they come! I found myself holding my breath whilst sitting on the edge of my seat right to the last couple of pages.

Anna Graves, is a newly divorced, single mother. She enjoys the beach where she grew up and wants her daughter to experience it also. One day while taking a walk on the beach, a teenage boy attacks her for no reason, other than he isn't acting quite right. Anna kills him protecting her daughter. Almost everyone is supporting her actions except of course the boy's family and friends. Later on Anna gets a text message from TOK.....The Ophelia Killer. It said that she took away his chance of finishing the job he started. The Ophelia Killer, hasn't been active for over twenty years. Why start now? It it the same one that her father was trying to find before he killed himself? Then things start happening with Anna and her talk radio show, the community turns against her, everyone thinks she might of killed the boy on purpose without cause. Everyone but the boy's older brother. There are many, many things that happen in this story that will keep you guessing until the ending. To which I NEVER dreamed would happen! Great story!!!!! Will be posting my review when it is time on Amazon and Goodreads.

I started this but did not finish it because I thought the writing was poor.

I really enjoyed this novel. Lots of suspense and mystery. I felt empathy for the main character Anna Graves. There were a few parts where I was angry at some of the other characters, but after you read it you will understand why. A huge twist at the end that I did not see coming.

New mother Anna Graves is exhausted. Separated from her husband and back to work at her radio station, the stress of being a single mother is beginning to get to her. One day, while walking on the beach, a berserk teenager pulls a knife on Anna. All she has is a comb, but she will do anything to protect her baby. When the teen falls on the comb and dies, it appears that Anna acted in self-defense and that the whole thing was a terrible accident. Then the autopsy results show something unexpected, and Anna is vilified in the media. Just when she can’t imagine things can get any worse, she gets a phone call from someone claiming to be the serial killer that terrorized the area twenty years ago. Everyone assumed the killer was dead – the murders stopped after Ann’s father committed suicide. This is a complex story with a lot going on, but it boils down to one question – what would you do to protect your child? A white knuckle read
