Karev brothers number 3. Dmitry left the mob long ago and became a rare bookstore owner. He is drawn back into the drama due to his father's death and fear for his family's lives. Enter Harper, a computer hacker, who has clues for Dmitry to follow to solve the crime before it is too late. These 2 must find the answers to find a future together. Excellent mystery and characters for this story that the author delivers.
Ebook from netgalley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.

I loved seeing the always-in-control Dmitry lose a little of himself with Harper. My favorite romances always seem to be complete opposites attract type books and this was definitely one of those. Harper was such a free spirit with wild clothing and hair coloring compared to Dmitry's buttoned up professor look. I liked their relationship. I loved the fact we finally found out who killed the guys' dad. It wasn't that big a secret, but it played out perfectly in this conclusion of the ARC. Looking forward to reading more by this author.
Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

At only barely over a 100 pages each, I breezed right through all three of these books. Each book focuses on a different main couple’s HEA but are all connected to the same unfolding drama, trying to figure out who brutally killed the father of these three Russian brothers. Well, I wish I could say it was a surprise, folks. But my first guess way back in book 1 was right. I’d like to take credit for being exceptionally smart, but, frankly, it’s more like I’m not stupid. There wasn’t really a whole lot of other people it could have been.
For the most part I enjoyed seeing this outgoing, sexy, colorful computer hacker, who always seems to have a plan, draw quiet, reserved former mobster Dmitry out of his shut off existence following the death of his wife three years ago. Surprisingly, there were no sinister mob ties or Dmitry blamed linked to her demise, btw.
This unusual Bonnie and Clyde dual do end up flushing out the killer with a very predictable showdown. But once again I felt the best portion was the back and forth banter, build up to completely losing their control and reason, and, of course, falling for each other. As other reviewers have pointed out, this isn’t a heavily entrenched mafia series. The majority of the time in all three books it felt like they were on the outside looking in regards to mob activity.
I think this author could pull off an in-depth, complex one book mafia read, but she choose here to write three very short novellas where you have to buy all three to get the final conclusion. It’s up to you if you find that marketing strategy appealing and or acceptable.
Romance Safety Gang: <spoiler>Dmitry still kept a lot of his deceased wife’s clothes in his home, which Maxim pointed out just wasn’t normal. He didn’t seem that hung up on her memory though, so I’m not sure what was up with that. If anything, he just came across as quiet and sad. The heroine knew, from stalking I presume, he only had one night stands since her death, no relationships. Once again, there was no condom used in their first, lost control of themselves smexy encounter. </spoiler>

I enjoyed all three books in this series. Although the first two are continuations of one story, the can be read separately but it is also nice that the 3 books were available within a week of each other.
Good, quick reads.

I want my bookstore owner to be Dmitry. Loved the chemistry between Dmitry and Harper – totally hot! And we finally find out who killed the Karev father. A great ending to the series.

I read the other books and couldn't wait to read this one. She definitely didn't disappoint me. If you like to read about the Karevs, you'll like this book.

Woah, okay, I need a minute to get the steam off my Kindle screen. That was H-O-T, with sexy times galore and a hunky guy with bulging muscles to make your mind go wild with the possibilities. While I had a hard time pinning down the specific sub-genre - is it erotica, romance, crime fiction, etc. - I enjoyed it nonetheless. It was packed solid with action, comedy, and sex to last me for the rest of the week.
Dmitry Kalev is the son of a murdered mafia boss, and he is on a mission to figure out who killed his father. When he discovers a hacker associated with the mob lurking at his favorite coffee shop, he corners her to find out what she's up to. A rainbow-haired part-time burlesque dancer, Harper Allen thrives on the thrill of hacking into unhackable systems. And when she sees Dmitry, she can't resist offering up her services - all of her services. Working together, they risk their lives, and ultimately, their hearts.
I loved the chemistry between Dmitry and Harper! While I didn't really relate to either of them, nor did I want to crawl into the book to be their friend, I thoroughly enjoyed their unique personalities. Harper, in particular, was a hoot. She is spunky, free-spirited, and wholly aware of herself, who she is and what she wants. She was a bit more promiscuous than I'm used to in most of the books I read, but it was lovely reading something different from my norm. It ended really well, and I liked seeing them together as a couple.
Definitely a book to read on a lonely night, when you need to live vicariously through a book boyfriend. Go read about Dmitry - you'll be glad you did.

I have really enjoyed this series about these Russians brothers. Dmitry falls for a hacker named Harper. She helps him find his father's murderer.

3*. Not a bad read, but it was too rushed to reach its potential.
This is well-written and can be read as a standalone, which I had no trouble getting into despite not reading anything else in the series. It's a tale of a female hacker and a bookstore owner, whose late father she owes a debt to, and they team up to find out who his killer was.
It is a short read and it's rather rushed, and tbh, I didn't fully believe in the connection between the leads, due to this and the fact that they never really had much real time together, just collab time.

This was an action packed, steamy quick read that was a great conclusion to this series. I enjoyed Dmitry and Harper's characters as they worked to find Sergey's killer. I felt the plot was fast moving so that it was just right and suspenseful enough to keep me guessing until the end. I enjoyed this book from start to finish and would recommend it to others.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
