This is a very interesting read. The main character could very easily be a stereotyped, facile character. The author demonstrated a knowledge of the social class and the available options the main character had in life. It is a sympathetic but honest view of the choices that she makes. This first book in the series is setting up relationships for further development in future books. In spite of this, the author has a character that is real and the reader learns to care about her, even if her choices are not ones we might make.

The themes are mature and the sex is kinky. The realistic portrayal of a power exchange relationship is far better than the Fifty Shades of Gray books. There are choices and a dynamic that could be argued is, if not an abuse of power, at least taking advantage of a young women's difficult start in life. This is handled honestly and it adds a layer of complexity to a story that could of been very one sided.

Taffi escapes from her abusive family and runs to the big city, only to find more trouble. Sullivan is more than happy to help her with an Arrangement of his own. This is a fast paced read with a great story and plenty of steam. I really liked it and am looking forward to reading more in the series.

This was super HOT! The steamy scenes were off the charts sexy and the chemistry between these characters was fantastic!! I can't wait to read the next book!

The premise and flow and character development was keen and made for an enjoyable read. Though some of Sullivan's tendencies and reasonings were cop outs, backed by some event that happened to him in his past. All I can is that, after the cliffhanger ending, I couldn't be happier that Taffi left Sullivan. Sorry, I'm not a fan of cheating, or since they were not actually a thing then whatever it is that Sullivan did is called, I did not like nor understand how could do such a thing. Wish I could say that her leaving him is the end of their story, I understand that there's a next book and she takes him back but I hope she makes him suffer and grovel first. Needing to know how their story ends, of course I'll end up reading the next book.

This was my first Jenna Fox book and I was pretty impressed. I'll definitely be reading Book 2 pretty soon. It did have a Fifty Shades feel to it, but with a man who appears to be 20+ years older than the heroine.

Taffeta is 18 years old high school dropout working at a convenience store in a podunk town. She's had enough of her weak mom and alcoholic boyfriend and decides to leave home and make her escape into the world unknown. Before leaving, she apparently signed a "modeling" contract, but she failed to read the fine print. She found herself in a very vulnerable and bad situation that nearly had her thrown in jail.

But in comes her knight in shining armor, Sullivan Cooper. He's been fascinated with her since he first met her in the gas station she worked. He's been a bit of a stalker though, which is how he knows she's in trouble. Sullivan is a wealthy older man who is also a Dom and knows exactly what he wants. He goes after what he wants and that's Taffi.

Part of his arrangement with Taffi is that she'll get her GED first and then, she'll be his sexually. Because Taffi had nothing going for her in life, she agrees to his conditions. The sex scenes weren't very descriptive, so if you hate reading books where those scenes go on for many pages, you won't have to worry about that with this one. But what we do get is pretty hot!

Now, Sullivan was definitely not my favorite hero. In fact, I thought he was pretty much an emotionless jerk. And what he did in the last page proved that (geez, is he addicted to sex?). And his stalker tendencies were a bit creepy. BUT, he did have some redeeming qualities. He really cared about Taffi getting her GED and helped her study. He could have just sat her down in front of a computer and left her to her own, but he took the time to help her understand the math she was having problems with. So he had to care about her somewhat, right? He's the only reason why I couldn't give the book 5 stars.

I liked Taffi. Yes, she was lacking book smarts, but she was a feisty little thing. She grew up in a loveless home, so she was hoping Sullivan would be the man to love her. She didn't get her HEA in this book, but at least she took a stand in the end, made sure Sullivan knew his money and materials things meant nothing to her and decided she was no longer going to be his plaything.

I couldn't believe that it ended in a cliffhanger! Seriously! Oh my goodness, knowing that Sullivan had studied Taffi long before he approaches her had me wondering just how far he'll go to keep her by his side all the while pushing her limits. She's far from being a virgin and although she doesn't have much experience (her only time being in the back of a car that was all about his pleasure and not hers), I loved how she still took the reign in what she wanted. Together, their chemistry is incredible and how the story unfolded had my jaw dropping in surprise.

I'm wildly curious to find out how Jenna Fox is going to finish off this series because that cliffhanger left me frustrated and oh so impatient to find out what happens. With Sullivan's domineering and possessive ways had me questioning how long this could would last and even more when emotions got tangled up into the mixture considering that their arrangement specified that it was purely physical between them. I can't wait to find out what's to become of this couple and look forward to reading more from Jenna Fox.

I love delicious little books that are quick to spice things up and yet leave you wanting more. This May-September romance is part of a series so you will have no HEA or closure at all in this part.

Loaded with hot scenes sparked by jealously, control, and a spicy, demanding and successful businessman named Sullivan, you start to see the submission he requires from Taffi. While it should frighten her away, she loves the attention... until she realizes the truth in what he can give.

Jenna Fox crafted a heated story that has the ability to wind up your senses and even cause you to blot your brow a time or two. Cannot wait for part 2!

Taffi is 18 and comes from a broken family and just wants a chance to escape and do something better for herself. Taffi wants to be loved and feel stronger. Sullivan is an older wealthy billionaire who has a flair for BDSM and knows what he wants. Sullivan has pretty much been stalking Taffi and he wants her on his terms he is just biding his time. His time comes and he comes to Taffi's rescue after pretty much stalking her over a period of time.

After Sullivan rescues Taffi an arrangement is made. He provides all her needs and she is able to finish school. After she finishes school then the arrangement changes more to what he wants which is the sex. Sullivan has to have control and I mean ALL OF IT!!!! Taffi and Sullivan chemistry is hot and some of the sex scenes wow will have you fanning yourself. Taffi starts to develop feelings for Sullivan but hold them in because if she tells him how she feels she will have to leave. 50 SHADES RIGHT!!! Taffi finally offer an ultimatum she needs more or she leaves. will Sullivan cave to her you will have to read and find out. This book does end on a cliffhanger but book 2 is already out!

The Arrangement is hot! Taffeta (Taffi) is a young 18 year old who lives a life filled with despair. When she finally gets up enough money and nerve to get away from her useless mother she gets sucked into a bad situation and lands in jail. But, lo and behold, a good Samaritan rescues her. He comes in a hot package of older, experienced manhood named Sullivan Cooper. He hires a lawyer to get her out of jail and all he asks in return is that she study for and get her GED. He doesn't come right out and state any other things he might expect in payment but Taffi isn't stupid. She may be young, but she's not stupid, she knows exactly what he wants from her, and she doesn't mind, in fact, she wants the same thing. Who wouldn't? He's hot, he's obviously really experienced, and he's given her a roof over her head, help studying, and even a makeover.

That Taffi and Sullivan's relationship evolves into something other than just sex, though, comes at the expense of Taffi's heart, though, because Sullivan has repeatedly told her he doesn't do love or commitment, that he's not capable of either of those things. I wasn't surprised at the end, because I knew it was coming, it was rather predictable in that sense, but just because I knew it was coming doesn't mean that I hurt any less for Taffi.

The Arrangement is well written, well paced, and super steamy. I wouldn't have minded a bit more of development of Sullivan's character, but I suspect that might be coming in future installments. I hope so, because Taffi is not the only one who needs to do a lot of growing and evolving.

Taffi is ab 18 year innocent. Her family life is a mess. She leaves and finds herself in a bad situation. Sullivan comes to her rescue. Little does she know that he has been watching her. He was waiting to make her his. Her actions made it very easy for him. they start and arrangement that quickly escalates from help with her education to sex. The story is of course full of sex and BDSM situations. The characters are strong. Sullivan is kind of stand offish and intimidating. Each scene reveals a little more of him. Taffi is young and kind of sweet. She realizes her place quickly. We see her innocence disappear and she gains some strength. Taffi develops feelings and things come to a head. We are left with a cliffhanger that will probably make you shake your head or anger you. Will Sullivan and Taffi get their HEA?

'The Arrangement" by Jenna Fox is book One in the "Pleasing the Manwhore" series. This is the story of Taffi and Sullivan. Their story doesn't end with this book so be aware that you will have to continue their story in "Bound Forever" which is book Two out Feb 14, 2017. Taffi came from an abusive home and comes to the big city but it doesn't take long for her to fall into trouble. Enter Sullivan who is there to help her but he has his own 'Arrangement' for her. This was one really hot read! The previews reads that it has a 'Fifty Shades' feel and for me it did. This is my first book by Ms. Fox and I am so glad I have found her. Can't wait for the next installment of Taffi and Sullivan!
