Tess Newell is a journalist who finds herself held captive by the same terrorist group she is investigating. Flynn, a handsome French Foreign Legion soldiers has also been captured and joins her as a prisoner. Tess has no choice but to trust Flynn even tho she knows he is keeping secrets. Their only hope for survival is to work together. Tess needs to get her story of a potentially deadly conspiracy out to save lives.

This book had you sitting on the edge of your seat waiting to see what would happen next. Tess was a very strong female character and there was great chemistry between her and Flynn.

Holy Smokes this is a phenomenal book! It's like reading 3 action movies morphed into one story.

Tess is a journalist, captured in Somalia (maybe). She is joined by a captured French soldier (or is he?), but they make their escape and the action is non-stop from there. Conspiracy theory, horrific background, betrayal, and more, with some sweet chemistry between Tess and Flynn making the book even better.

I can't wait to read more from this author.

This is a very fast paced suspense novel. The plot has much government intrigue and takes a hard look at the role of the press. The two main characters are idealistic and flawed, you quickly begin to understand and engage with them. I hope the series will continue!
