Everyone who gave this 4+ stars should be sent straight to jail.
I didn't feel any connection to the characters, or with them together. All of the dialogue was weird, we were supposed to think Brody was a super-hot, sex god musician who plays the guitar (?) in one scene.
Also, I guess this came out in 2017 so I should give her the benefit of the doubt but hey, author, gay men don't have to be caricatures!

Somehow somewhere I have become jaded with rockstar romances – booze, indiscriminate hookups, unnecessary drama are only few of the reasons why this genre of romance tends to give me the heebee – jeebies.

So, the only reason why I signed up to review this particular rockstar romance is the author – J.T. Geissinger. This author became one of my favorite authors with her Wicked Sexy book ( Read My Review); and even though I had really not read any of the previous books in the Bad Habits Series, I still picked it up and once I did, there was no going back.

The book itself starts off on a very heavy note, and having absolutely no previous idea (went in blind into the series!) – and so it absolutely hooked me in. With heavy tone set at the start, I did go in expecting a heavy hand, what I did not expect (but should have) that the book would be a perfect blend of angst, banter and chemistry that ran to the side of passionate, hot with incredible connection.

Brody is the epitome of a broody alpha; but I promise the reason why is not only just but pretty much made sure that I wanted to coddle him for everything that life could ever throw at him. But this broodiness did not mean that he wasn’t intelligent, witty and all out amazing character to have this beautiful connection with, like I did right from the start.

Grace was, on the other hand, an enigma. I did not know how to handle a woman who was strong and independent in her own right, especially about her sexual choices (Isn’t that the way we always are with such amazing women?). Yes, it took me a while to warm up to her (couple of chapters at the most!) but once I did, once I understood that the prickly exterior held a heart of gold, I couldn’t help but fall for this remarkable woman.

Both Brody and Grace have their issues, and I most certainly enjoyed not only their journey, but their intense connection with each other; just when I thought there could be heavy hand with only the plot twists, the author made sure to counteract with another, just to keep things interesting for the reader.

I honestly do not like diving into books that are a part of series, even if they are standalone, but Ms. Geissinger, pretty much demonstrated WHY she became one of my favorite authors with just one single book!

Advisory: While this a standalone in the Bad Habits Series, it is advisable that one reads the first two books in the series as there are slight spoilers regarding the first two couples in this installment.

Loved it. A new fantastic author for me. I've recently received her next release to. Can't wait to start.

I’ve SO enjoyed this series. The characters were so lively. The men were alpha, sweet and über sexy; the women were sassy, spunky and bold. Though these girls fall for rockstars, each story is very character oriented, so “life in the road” doesn’t really exist for these couples. The rockstar lifestyle isn’t overwhelming, so it doesn’t detract from what’s going on within their budding relationships and their amazing backstories.

Grace and Brody share an amazing story with an incredible, multi-faceted connection. What I loved and adored most about these two was their banter. In order to avoid scaring Grace off, Brody uses movie quotes and cute, funny insults to express his attraction and growing affections. And they worked. They were just adorable.

This was the perfect blend of comical, emotional and sexy!

Title: Sin With Me
Series: Romance
Stand Alone Title: yes
Author: J.T. Geissinger
Genre: Romance
Blurb: The past she can’t remember. The secret he hides. And a love that’s worth risking it all.

After a devastating car crash stole both her family and her memory, Grace Stanton was left with no past and an uncertain future. Now Grace likes to keep things simple. No sleepovers, never date a guy more than a month, and never, ever fall in love. Which is exactly why Grace avoids Bad Habit’s lead guitarist, Brody Scott, at all costs. The green-eyed, sexy-as-hell musician has “trouble” tattooed all over him, and Grace isn’t taking any chances with her heart.

Brody knows he doesn’t deserve an amazing woman like Grace—her creamy skin, red hair, or that smart mouth that fuels his every fantasy—but there’s something between them that’s more than chemistry. Something real. He’ll just have to convince Grace that he’s worth the risk—and hide the secret that haunts his worst dreams. But when fate plays a cruel hand, Brody’s darkest sin suddenly threatens his last chance at redemption…and the life of the woman he loves.
Favorite quotes: “No, Gace,” he whispers with quiet intensity, closing the distance between us. “I don’t care. I don’t care if we only get one amazing night together and you don’t remember a f*@king thing tomorrow, because I’ll remember.” He grabs my arm and drags me against him. “And I know it’ll be worth it.”
“Ha. No, your boyfriend ate my nerves for lunch. This is just to get me through the next few hours until I can pass out at a respectable time. Hopefully black out so I won’t have to relive the joyous moment when I was completely emasculated in front of this girl that I’ve kinda sorta had a huge crush on since the dawn of time.”
Thoughts: Geissinger is one of my favorite authors, and she does not write a bad book. Period. This book had me giggling at some of the lines, and I had a hard time picking out favorite quotes – I just had so MANY! The emotional pull, the sexual chemistry – this whole book I just fell in love with! Grace is classy, sexy, and bold. Brody knows how to throw some words out there that, as he would say, melt your panties off. And how can you go wrong with that? ;)
Definitely an A+!
Rating: A+

This story had me smiling and teary eyed from beginning to end. The main characters were great. Initially many people may be put off by Grace, but I actually liked her. Some people are put off by a female who loves sex and enjoys playing the field. Once you get her story and all that she continued to go through, you have a better understanding of her. She had a lot of lovers, but she was not slutty. She had her reasons for not getting attached. Once you hear it, it was heartbreaking. Brodie challenged and changed her rules. I loved the dialogue between them. It was both funny and sweet. In the middle of their teasing, Brodie would say some of the sweetest things. Their chemistry was off the charts with just a little kink. The angst and tension was strong the entire read. You knew their stories were connected just not how it would all play out . This is a very good book added to a very good series. I am anxious to hear Barney's story.

Book Review- Sin with Me by J.T. Geissinger

Chloe and AJ are having their baby. The band and family are waiting in the waiting room. The whole gang is there, Kenji, Kat, Nico, Grace and Brody. Grace is trying to fight her attraction to Brody. It isn’t going as she had hoped. She has to keep a distance from everyone she could fall for. Her issues with her memory are her greatest fear. What if she loses it again? She will forget everything, everyone, and even herself. It scares her that she could one day wake up and not remember her husband or her kids if she had them. So she has set her course to be alone. Brody refuses to let her do it. He is determined to be with her for the long haul.
Things change when her condo is destroyed. Everything she owns is destroyed and she has nowhere to go. She is devastated. Brody offers her a place to stay and comfort. Then he comes up with a plan for them both. Grace starts to fall hard. Brody is keeping a secret. He is the biggest enemy to what he ultimately wants, Grace.
I had a really hard time getting into this book. I could not relate to the character at all. I didn’t like Grace from the beginning. As the story progressed I hope to change my mind. It didn’t. Brody was interesting in the beginning. When he became the puppy that followed her around made me like him less. It was almost nauseating to read.
In fact I just quit reading it. I was hoping for edgier personalities with the band members. I was disappointed in the characters. If I can’t relate in some way I am not vested in the story. I have read this author before but not this particular series. So I was a bit surprised as I began reading it, but I tried my best to stay with it. I finally gave up.
So I didn’t like this book at all and don’t see myself reading other books from the series either. I give it a 2 out of 5.

While I found the book enjoyable I liked the second book in the series the best. In the beginning Grace was hard for me to like, and while I came to understand where her issues stem from, I still never fully connected with her. The same with Brody. I came to understand him but I never fully connected with him either.

Fun, witty banter, true love, sexy guys, and dark secrets, what more could a girl ask for? Grace isn't exactly your typical heroine. She is neither a damsel in distress nor a cold, only-career focused woman. She embraces and enjoys her sexuality in a chain of one-month no-strings-attached sexcapades. It's refreshing to see a heroine who is both successful and in charge of her sexuality. Grace is a strong, independent woman with close bonds to her friends, and she isn't afraid to go after what she wants...until she finds herself catching feelings for Brody.

In Sin With Me we pick up right where we left off in Make Me Sin. Sin With Me kept me hooked and flipping pages to see what was going to happen next. Grace and Brody had amazing sexual chemistry between them and I loved Grace, but she doesn’t do relationships. Once everything starts to heat up between Grace and Brody her reasons for not getting involved start to fall away.

5 Stars!

Are you ready to be seduced? Because Brody is on the scene and he is totally gonna steal your heart like a thief in the night... he sure did mine ;)

J.T. Geissinger is killing it with this brilliant Bad Habit series and now she's back on the scene with with third standalone installment. Packed with heart, heat, secrets, passion, and undeniable chemistry.... Grace and Brody are here to tell their story... and what a journey it is.

These two were so amazing, fresh, enticing, real, and beautifully broken... but together they were perfect. I got lost between the pages, rooting for these two... knowing that it was all going to be worth it.... every fear and every moment.

Seriously y'all, her rock stars are so addictive, incredibly sexy, sensual, and always give you the time of your life. Witty banter. Great friendships. Spectacular love stories. I'm so glad I ran across these guys because they quickly became a very top favorite of mine.

If you like sexy, angsty, and incredible in a lot of ways, then give the Bad Habit guys a try.

I highly recommend this book.

***4 "Knight in Shining Denim!!!" stars***

By now, most of my friends know that I am a sucker for rock stars and this series is very like of my taste...
I liked very much the first book, i adored the second one and i had a good time with the third installment of the "Bad Habit" series... even though there were some things that had made my eyes rolling several times....
But except that, it was a very good story and the author managed to surprise us in a way...

I was so curious about Brody's story because I was wondering what Mrs. Geissinger could hold against this guy!!! Brody was always so easygoing and carefree guy... He was very funny and the more approachable guy in the band, but Brody was keeping something inside of him that was a burden for his soul and the guilts were eating him alive...
His only ray of hope was tough Grace and he was determined to make her realize that she belong with him...

Grace was a very tough woman... She was acting like usually guys are acting...
She was refusing to involve emotionally with a man, she was preffering to see a man top to a month and she wasn't allowing anyone to spend a night in her condo... She was guarding her heart very well, because she was afraid of tomorrow...

You see, Grace was involved in a car accident when she was eighteen years old and she had lost not only her family, but her entire past...
And her greatest fear if she will fall in love with someone was that maybe one day, she will wake up and she won't remember him... and that unintentionally will hurt him...

Grace's plan was going well, even though that Brody Scott had a made his mission to tear down her walls and find his way inside her heart... and that was the reason why she was trying so hard to stay away from him... Because she was feeling in her bones that this man could ruin her!!!
Brody was very persisted and lately, he wasn't taking no for answer...

So what will happen with those two???
There is a future for them to be together???
Will Grace take the risk to allow Brody inside her heart???
Will Brody succeed to make Grace his??? For the right or wrong reasons???
And what will happen when their secrets will come out and realize that their instant connection had deeper roots???
Can they survive the truth and heal each other from the ghosts of their pasts???

I really liked Brody and Grace together....
There was attraction there, even though that sometimes it was too much corny, especially from Brody's side... At some point, he was acting like a lovestruck puppy and it was a little bit tiring... I would prefer him to act less like that!!!
But I really love how good he was for Grace...

Grace from the other hand was a tough chic... She had used to have the reigns of her life in her strong hands and she was refusing to let go and leave another person to help her carry her burden...
I liked when she let go a little bit in Brody's presence... It was refreshing in a way...
Also, I really understand her reasons why she was guarding her heart so much!!!!

Before I close my review, I would like to say that i really liked that for once again we saw the previous two couples and how their lives were moving on...
And I'm very curious about the last two guys in the band... Something they were hiding and I'm wondering what was that!!!

This is absolute kindle crack! My favorite of the series! It's nearly perfect. This is my absolute favorite book of the series. Wanna know why? Brody!! He's sexy, sweet, funny, charming, witty, and a bit of a nutter. I'm adding him to my list of BBFs!

Here's the breakdown:Grace is a ballbuster who's determined not to fall in love. She's a serial dater and refuses to date longer than 1 month. Brody has secretly been carrying a torch for her since the moment they met. They have major issues and baggage, but decide to give love a try.

What I loved: Umm....Brody. You caught that right? He hit all my sweet spots! I'm usually a read 'em and leave 'em kind of girl, but Brody just stuck!

The setup, story, and plot effin rocked!! It wasn't mind-blowingly complicated or something I've never seen, but it just worked for me.

The religious undertones of the story - this ties in to the plot and execution I noted above. I'm a huge fan of religion themes in literature and the authors weaves them in beautifully. It's a very cohesive book.

Overall, I enjoyed this very much! There were only a couple very minute issues near the end that threw me off. I highly recommend this series to readers who enjoy Rockstar romances.

I rate it 4.75 stars!

4,5 stars.
I liked this book so much. I haven't read the previous books, nor any other book by this author, but I enjoyed it so much. It was a little confussing at the beggining (the hospital scene) with all the characters without any introduction, but I got to know them very quickly.
The book has it all: romance, drama and a few hints of sarcasm (which I loved). The relationship between Brody and Grace is almost perfect, with the ugly names and all the confidence.
There are a lot of OMG-I-Cant-Believe-It scenes and unexpected turns (but with a satisfying end)
I gave it 4,5 stars and not all the 5 stars because when Brody started saying that he "regrets" and that he's a monster, it wasn't very difficult to "add 2 plus 2", I supposed it was something related with Grace because everyhting couldn't be so "perfect".
I can't wait to read the previous Bad Habit books (Kat's and Chloe's) , although I "already" know the end but I liked how the author writes.

This book took me way longer to read than most typically do. This was the first book by J.T. Geissinger I've read, so I didn't have the insights into the personalities of previous characters until I began this one. I started reading it more than a month ago and couldn't get past the prologue without becoming bored. Picked it back up a week later, read the first chapter and thought 'these characters are crazy and way too snobby for me to enjoy this book.' I then saw all the high reviews and thought that I was surely missing something great. So a few weeks later, I picked it up again, re-read the first two chapters and said 'yeah, still not doing it for me.' Fast forward about 6 weeks and I FINALLY finished the book and boy am I glad I gave it a chance. If you can get past the personality of some of the characters in the beginning, then you're in for a great read that makes you laugh, cry and cheer for Grace & Brody.

Grace doesn't remember anything that happened before an accident she was in 13 years ago. She also knows that at any moment, she could lose her memory again and not even remember her name or her friends. So she pretty much only goes for one-month stands and avoids long-term relationships. I found it ironic that she's a marriage counselor, yet can't see how she's avoid relationships because she's afraid...

Brody is a member of the popular band, Bad Habit. He's had his eyes set on Grace for a long time, but she avoids getting involved with him like the plague. He's hiding a dark secret though and feels as though he doesn't deserve to be in a happy relationship, so he too avoids commitment. But that won't stop him from continuing to pursue Grace until she finally breaks down.

When these two finally get together, you can feel the chemistry between them and just know that they have something special. It's hard to connect with characters sometimes, but I felt as though I really got them. Brody was incredibly sweet and I absolutely adored him. He wore his heart on his sleeve and was so in love with Grace from the start. It took me a while to warm up to Grace. I didn't like how she brushed Brody off at first, especially when it meant she flaunted another guy in front of him (although he was super hot and sweet himself). But when she fell, she fell hard, but still guarded her heart.

The suspense in this was pretty good as well. I honestly had no clue what the actual secret Brody kept was. Yes, it was a bit obvious what it had to do with, but I didn't know the parties involved and the full story until he told it, so it definitely kept me reading and intrigued. Both Grace & Brody went through a lot as teens, but fate brought them together in a big way and helped them heal.

Even though I didn't read the previous books, hearing about the lives of the hero/heroine of those books made me want to pick them up and begin them soon. I was cheering for them, feeling heartbroken when certain things were troubling them and wanted to learn more about them.

Overall, a great read that I'm glad I finally gave a fighting chance because it was one of the best reads in a long time.

Sin With Me is the Bad Habit series' third installment and is about Grace and Brody. I had not read the first two books in this series but luckily, this story stands completely on it own. I can say that I will definitely be backing up and reading books one and two.

J.T. Geissinger has gained a new fan as I found I absolutely love her writing style. The story of Grace, a man-eating therapist who doesn't believe in love and Brody, the charming rock star hiding a troubling secret is deftly woven with intense moments, hilarious moments and heart stopping moments. Her characters are intricately created people who reveal deep wells of emotions both good and bad. Grace and Brody are both complicated people who through a well paced and told story open up and divulge their hearts, minds and souls to each other. J.T. balance between intense scenes and light-hearted ones keeps the angst from being too much and gives the reader a much needed laugh between the heartbreaking times. J.T. has a great touch with sex scenes that are scorching hot and added just the right amount of side story from past characters.

I look forward to going to the start of the series and reading what led up to Sin With Me as the glimpses of backstory are as highly intriguing as this book is.

This was my first book by JT Geissinger, and I really enjoyed it. At the time I wasn't aware it was part of a series of books, not having read the first two, but even so I thoroughly enjoyed this read, and will definitely go back and read these!!

I loved the array of characters in this book!! So much more going on than just the main two!! I supposed I will learn more of these when I've read the first two books.

Grace is a spit-fire. She doesn't do relationships - she has her reasons why, and the men in her life are always told upfront there will be no relationship, in fact after a month that's usually it!! But Brody is her downfall, attracted to him like no other, but she is determined not to fall for him, her for own sanity.

Brody is a hotter than hell lead guitarist in a major band. He craves Grace in a way he doesn't understand, and she always pushes him away. Until his control snaps and he kisses her.... stand back and watch the fireworks explode!! There are some hotter than hot sexy scenes in here!!

I loved the story, it was a huge roller coaster of a ride, full of guilt, secrets, hope, despair and traumatic pasts. I thoroughly understand why Grace is wired the way she is once you learn her secrets. And when you find out Brody's problematic past, I really felt for him too!!! Sheesh!!

The wit and banter had me laughing out loud in several parts throughout this book, I just loved the humour in it!!

I truly enjoyed this and can't wait to go back and start at the beginning of the series.

Grace Stanton doesn't do relationships, it doesn't mean she doesn't spend time with men she finds attractive she just doesn't want anything more than a physical entanglement and she makes sure it is a short one, no more than thirty days.

Brody is the guitarist for Bad Habit he is also a man who holds a secret that directly involves Grace. The chemistry between Brody and Grace begins to heat up and neither can deny and it is beginning to break down the carefully structured reasons Grace has for not getting involved. However the past is about to catch up to both of them and it threatens to tear them apart for good.

I give this a 3.5, I found Grace a bit detached initially and it was hard to warm up to his character. I need to go back and read from beginning because I was trying to wrap my head around all the characters and the story starts off action packed with the other characters involved. Interesting story will probably start from beginning and see if I change my mind on this one.
