These monthly Buzz Books really help me keep track of new books being released during the featured month. The excerpts are a great way to sample some new authors. I plan to feature several of these titles on my blog during the upcoming months.

I really look forward to getting this every month. I love that some of the publishers send these out so we can get information on new releases. It's one thing I miss about no longer working in a bookstore.

A collection of excerpts from upcoming April 2017 releases.

The seven excerpts were originally published in “Buzz Books 2017: Spring/Summer” or “Buzz Books 2017: Young Adult Spring/Summer.” This collection features two adult books and five young adult books. Each book section includes a book cover, a book summary, a lengthy excerpt, a short author bio, important publication details, as well as a Netgalley link when available. Buzz Books made it so easy to figure out what books to add to my list. The excerpts are long enough to give a good sense of writing style. I’m not adding any of the YA books to my list, but it's nice to be aware of them so I can recommend them to people who'd be interested. There is also a complete list of April releases. There are so many exciting new books coming out!

I’m excited about both adult releases, especially American War by Omar Al Akkad. I was already looking forward to this book’s release and now I’m even more anxious to read it. I love how the author seamlessly slipped into the minds of different characters! The Radium Girls: The Dark Story of America’s Shining Women by Kate Moore also sounds like a great read!

I recommend Buzz Books for anyone who wants to stay up-to-date on upcoming releases.

Having never heard of Buzz Books before I was really intrigued. Whilst previously they have provided bi yearly issues they are now also providing smaller monthly publications to provide information on the latest releases available.

The format is great starting with a long list of books that will be available in April. This is then followed by 2 more sections. One which has 2 excerpts from adults books and the other which has 5 excerpts from Young Adult books. The layout of the excerpts is particularly good and provides you with all the information would need in order to make an informed decision as to whether to purchase the book.

Overall this is a great publication and I will be on the lookout for them in future months before deciding what to buy!
