Title: Tease Me, Baby
Series: O’Connor Family Book #2
Author: Katie Reus
Genre: Romance
Blurb: She never wanted perfection, but that’s what she finds.

Pastry chef, Fallon O’Connor is torn between her dreams and her obligations. Right before she reluctantly sets off for a degree she doesn’t want, she’s reeling from a mind-blowing encounter with Mr. Perfect. But one sexy, toe-curling kiss isn’t nearly enough when a Boy Scout like Sheriff Fulton lights her fire.

After one delectable taste, he’s never letting her go.

Brad Fulton would do anything for more time with Fallon. After all, he’s wanted a chance with her ever since she moved back to town. And just when things start to heat up, Fallon starts packing her bags—for a future without him. Now, it’s up to Brad to show Fallon that everything she’s ever wanted is right in Holly, North Carolina. But can Fallon trust her heart enough to stay?
Thoughts: Katie Reus just writes magic – period. Pretty much every book she writes is 5 star ratings from me. I particularly like the O’Connor family books, although each is stand alone. I was a little bit leery about Fallon at first, since I felt like the book would focus a lot on her pushing Brad away, however Reus made it work. It was actually a sweet romantic story and another hit for this series.

She wanted this man with an intensity that defied logic. Which was part of the reason she’d been ignoring him. A girl only had so much self-control when faced with all this deliciousness.

Tease Me, Baby by Katie Reus is the second installment in Katie’s O’Connor Family series and a wonderful low-angst romance. As with all of Katie’s books, it works well as a stand alone read, if that is your preference. The story takes place in the small town of Holly, North Carolina, where it is Christmas year-round. Tease Me, Baby is the story of baker Fallon O’Connor and Sheriff Brad Fulton.

Fallon is a darn good pastry chef. Her delectable creations are to die for. Actually, Fallon already has a business degree but she feels that she would please her Mom by obtaining a culinary degree also and Fallon has always strived to please her Mom. To that end, she has enrolled in culinary school. However, she is having a hard time forgetting a heated encounter -including a scorching Christmas Eve kiss - with hot alpha Brad Fulton, Holly’s Sheriff. Brad is a respected, responsible, Captain America type and Fallon believes she’s not good enough for him.

Brad knows that Fallon is the woman for him but she’s avoiding him like the plague. He thinks she and her career can thrive in Holly with him and that she doesn’t need a culinary degree as she’s already an accomplished chef and can be successful without it. But, not only does he have to convince Fallon that her future is in Holly with him, but he has to get her overprotective brothers to accept him too.

Fallon and Brad have great chemistry. Even though their story is a short one, Katie does a great job developing their characters into totally believable and likable entities and packing their fully-plotted story into a novella.

Following please find a few favorite quotes from Tease Me, Baby:

"Maybe I’m not the Boy Scout you think I am."
---

Mr. Boy Scout was not for her. He was exactly the type of man her family would expect her to settle down with. Freaking perfect.
---

“Well, are you?”
“Am I what?”
“Dating people?”
Her lips quirked up at the corners. “Are you?”
“Nope.”
“Neither am I.”
“Good. You’re mine until you leave.”

One of my favorite cute slightly naughty scenes involved a family dinner after Brad had been coerced into playing a brutal game of hockey with Fallon’s safeguarding brothers. Here’s a short excerpt from that sweet and steamy scene which took place in Fallon’s family’s guest bathroom:

Laughing, she stood and held out a hand, “You need any first aid?”
“Nah. Your kisses did the trick.”

Sophie Eastlake is the very capable narrator for Tease Me, Baby. She has capably voiced many of Katie’s audios and does another excellent job with Tease Me, Baby. She consistently differentiated between the characters’ voices and exuded the appropriate emotions making for an easy, pleasurable listening experience. Sophie’s performance positively enhanced an already enjoyable read. If you enjoy listening to audio books, I’d highly recommend that you check out the audio edition.

Tease Me, Baby is the perfect read for an entertaining, quick escape. It features charming and genuine characters in a light romance with a highly satisfying HEA. If you are looking for a fun, fast-paced, intriguing and sexy romance, you won’t go wrong with Tease Me, Baby!

The perfect sexy story. Brad cant get enough of Fallon and just when he thinks she's going to leave town - he finds a way to get her to stay. I absolutely loved the hero and heroine in this book!

This story is the second in a series set in the year-round-Christmas town known as Holly, NC. I didn’t realize when I read the first story that it would be turned into a series, but I’m thrilled to be able to see a return of these characters and this special town. The story kicks off with a serious bang, but then simmers nicely as Brad and Fallon get to know each other a little better. I enjoyed the story very much and can see that the H/H were meant to be and just need a little timeline to give them both a push towards their destinies and their new life together. Brad is an alpha male to the core, but even when he is being commanding and macho he is still sweet and considerate to his woman and what woman wouldn’t melt for that. Fallon is at a crossroads in her life and can’t decide which direction to take in her life. Starting a relationship with Brad is not making her decision any more clear, but thankfully she begins to believe in herself and her dreams in time for Brad to have a chance to steal her heart. I loved seeing these two circling one another and losing their minds in the passionate chemistry they shared. It is obvious that these two will be together for a long time to come and the passion won’t be dying anytime soon. If you like a good steamy romance with a lot of sweetness and love thrown in, then Tease Me, Baby is just the story to read on a lonely evening. I am looking forward to the next story in the series and seeing more of Fallon’s family falling in love. This series is one that surprised me, but with the chemistry and strength of characters I have come to expect from Katie, this story is magic and I have no regrets about jumping into another series with both feet.

For a novella, this story packs a lot of emotion with its pages. I'm happy that there were no controversies or drama to the story...there was just Fallon and Brad finding their way to each other, and their HEA...with no obnoxious barriers to get in their way...as so many other authors tend to do just for the drama factor.

I love the town of Holly and its many residents...the author has created such a real to life town that draws you in, wishing that it was a place you could actually visit...who wouldn't want to live with Christmas 24/7.

I've really enjoyed the series and can't wait for the next installment.

Katie Reus had me at hello with her gripping paranormal “Darkness” series, so I just couldn’t resist trying one of her “O’Connor Family” novella series. It doesn’t hurt I’m a sucker for cooking and sheriff themed romantic reads. Mix them together, and I was pretty certain I was going to be served up an entertaining literary treat before I even turned a page.

Fallon couldn’t help but fall for Brad, the handsome good guy sheriff, and vice versa. We meet them about a year after Fallon has returned to their hometown. Folks, these two simply couldn’t keep their hands and lips to themselves. This ended up being a sugary sweet, uncomplicated, very graphically smexy, low angst read. There really isn’t any major drama to mull over in this review.

If you are looking for a very short, hometown backdrop romantic tale with lots of steaminess, you might want to consider this one and the other books in the series, as well.

Title: Tease Me Baby, Series: O’Connor Family (Book 2), Author: Katie Reus, Pages: 89, stand-alone novella that is part of a series, pastry chef heroine, sheriff hero, nonvirgin main couple, no cheating, no love triangle, no OW/OM drama, VERY smexy scenes, not a manho, both have not been with anyone in quite awhile, sweet main couple, HEA

Katie Reus has a signature style. that's a fun mix of actiony adventures, original characters, and steamy romance. Her style is enjoyable and smooth, even in a novella length. This was a bite of contemporary romance, that was heartwarming and sexy at the same time. Recommend!

I've enjoyed so many new books by new to me authors & this one is no different. Katie Reus has written a great book in the story of Fallon & Brad. She's getting ready to leave town for culinary school across the country that she's not really sure she wants to go to & Brad has decided that he's going to finally give her a reason to stay. Sherif Brad is one hot & wonderful guy, Fallon calls him Boy Scout because he's perfect & always prepared. Fallon has a few ideas that might keep her in town but she feels she needs to go to get the approval of her parents & starting something with Brad wouldn't be smart but who said she was smart. Brad is determined to prove to her that they have something special & that either way he's in it for the long run. Definitely recommend & I will be looking for more books by this author.

Tease Me, Baby is the second novella in Katie Reus' O'Connor Family series and gives us the chance to find the only girl in the family find love. Fallon has always dreamed of running her own business, she's a wonderful baker and already has freelance work making wedding cakes for a friend but she feels like she'll be letting her family down if she follows her dream without getting her qualifications so she's leaving town soon to start her degree on the other side of the country. The last thing she expects to derail her plans is a sexy encounter with the local sheriff. Brad is everything she didn't know she wanted in a man, on the outside he's Mr. Perfect but she soon discovers he has a wild side that drives her insane with lust.

Brad has waited a long time to make a move on Fallon but now he's had a taste of her he's going to show her just how perfect they could be together. He wants her more than he's ever wanted anyone and if that means they'll have to do the long distance thing while she gets her degree then he's willing to do whatever it takes. What they have is worth fighting for and he's going to prove that to Fallon.

This was such a sweet novella, I loved being back in Holly and catching a glimpse of a few familiar faces but more than anything I loved seeing Fallon and Brad together. This is a novella so things happen fairly quickly but their relationship never felt rushed and I was totally on board them getting a happily ever after. The romance was sweet, the sex was hot and I enjoyed the added dynamics of Fallon's over protective brothers. Future books in this series are definitely on my auto buy list and I'm looking forward to getting to know the rest of the O'Connor family.

This book is a quick read and a fun book. Fallon O’Connor is looking forward to going to California to a culinary school to be a pastry chef. Her friends are telling her she does not need to leave because she is already doing good business with what she is baking and she could not learn anything else from the school that she doesn’t already know. Having those same thoughts she just feels that this is what she needs to do. That is until the night that sheriff Brad Fulton walks her to her truck and gives her a kiss that rocks her world. She is wondering why now? Here she is planning on leaving and now he is showing interest in her. Brad aka the Boy Scout has been wanting to make a play for her since he moved back into town but could never pick the right time, so he figured if he didn’t do it then he would never do it. Now he has to talk her into going out with him on a date and as much as she does not want to she does. After a moment in a storage closet at her place of work, maybe longer than a moment she is left with a dilemma. To leave or to stay? She wants to be with him but she also wants pastry school. Read this fun loving story to find out.

Tease Me Baby is a great romance about a sheriff and a baker. It's hot and sexy. Brad and Fallon can't keep their hands off each other. Fallon has a major decision to make. Does she go to culinary school on the West coast or open up her own food truck business at home in Holly, NC and stay with Brad. It's a fairly fast read and I really enjoyed this book.

Tease me baby is by Katie Reus who I have been reading for years and have loved her Red Stone Security series as well as many of her other series in the romantic suspense category. This book and I guess this whole series is more sweet contemporary and I guess I was a little disappointed because I didn't know about this series. It really was too NA, a little too shallow for my taste. I kept wanting more of a plot that this book offered. The writing is was great and it was a cute plot, but just not what I thought I was getting. If I were judging just for me, it would be a 3 star book but if you are looking for a simple sweet story that can be read quickly, this is definitely a 4 star book. Thanks as always to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this book for an honest review.

3.5 stars--TEASE ME, BABY is the second installment (and novella) in Katie Reus’s contemporary, adult O’CONNOR FAMILY erotic, small-town romance series focusing on the O’Connor Family of Holly, North Carolina. This is sheriff Brad Fulton, and pastry chef Fallon O’Connor’s story line. TEASE ME, BABY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Fallon and Brad) TEASE ME, BABY focuses on the building romance between Holly, North Carolina’s sheriff Brad Fulton, and pastry chef Fallon O’Connor. A drunken New Year’s Eve kiss from Fallon O’Connor had Brad Fulton thinking about a future with the woman that has starred in his fantasies for close to one year. One year earlier Fallon O’Connor returned to her hometown of Holly, North Carolina, set up business but has struggled with her place in the family and back in town. Her attraction to sheriff Brad Fulton found our heroine lusting after a man she believes is too perfect for the likes of her but a commitment to attend culinary school out West finds Fallon preparing to leave Holly just as things start heating up between her and the sexy sheriff next door. What ensues is the quick building relationship from lust to love for two people who have danced around one another for close to a year.

TEASE ME, BABY is a quick read; a fast paced story of insta-love between a successful pastry chef and the town’s resident boy scout-Sheriff Fulton. There is no major story line conflict but the heroine’s decision whether to head out West or stay in Holly and pursue a relationship with the man that she loves. The premise is entertaining and lighthearted; the romance is spicy and sexy; the characters are passionate.

For a very short book this has a lot of story and a fun and steamy romance. I love books about small town sheriff’s so I was already on board with Brad. I was a little worried that there would be too much push/pull for a really short book when I first started but it turned out there wasn’t. Yes Fallon isn’t sure she wants to get involved with Brad but it doesn’t take long before their chemistry between them takes over! Both Fallon and Brad were very likable characters and I really enjoyed this quick and fun story. Looking forward to the next book in the series!

Tease Me, Baby is the second novella in the O’Connor Family series and can be read as a stand-alone.
Both Fallon and Brad were very likable, and although this was a short read, the romance was believable.
I loved the small-town setting of Holly, North Carolina where it’s Christmas the whole year round.
Highly recommended if you’re in the mood for a sweet, lighthearted and sexy read!

Loved it! What a great feel-good story that is a quick read and will leave you with a smile.

Fallon is going to go to culinary school. She has found and apartment and everything. The problem is that her hearts just not into leaving and flying across the country from her family and friends. Her real dream is to open her own business but she feels she needs the culinary school not to fail despite her success already.

Brad Fulton, Sheriff, of the town and all around boy scout really likes Fallon and has for a year. When they shared a kiss or two at Christmas he thought she might finally like him but she hasn't shown interest in him. That is until he finds her walking home on Valentine's Day and walks her to he brother's truck.

Now, Fallon has to decide whether or not she really wants to go to school or chose between a long distance relationship with Brad or a relationship at all with Brad, or finally if she wants to stay in Holly and be with Brad.

When she gets a call that turns her world upside down it helps make her mind up.
