Stacey Kennedy is becoming one of my must read authors. This is my second series I've read of hers and I've loved everything I've read so far. Restrained Under His Duty is book three in a set of standalone series that focus on each couple but connect all books in a bigger plot. I would recommend starting with book 1.

The bigger plot is about a group of friends and secret business partners in a sex club that have been targeted. They've discovered that someone is spying on them and feeding personal information about them to the tabloids. They need to find this person before their involvement or the member of the sex club gets exposed.

In this book, Ryder and the Senator's daughter, Hadley are being targeted. Ryder is the Senators head of security and in love with Hadley but will not give in to his attraction due to his sense of honor. When Ryder is threatened with a leak of a video of her to ruin her fathers career, Ryder can no longer stay away.

Ryder might have just become my favorite in this series. He's very honorable and his need to protect Hadley showed how much he really loves her. Hadley, despite putting herself in compromising situations (Senator's daughter, hello???) is a heroine I enjoyed reading about. She was upfront and honest about what she wanted from Ryder. Dealing with his constant rejection and pain from a past trauma is how she got her self in these compromising situations.

The plot was fast paced and had me hooked. I really enjoy a good suspense storyline when you can't predict what's going to happen next. I'm really looking forward to Gabes book next. ARC provided by Netgalley.

Let me start by saying I think I just read a book that had everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. The book is written in dual POV my personal favorite and flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it.

This is book three in the Dirty little secret series and you will see all the players starting with book one Bound beneath his pain and book two Tied to His Betrayal. I'll be honest I didn't look to see how the author has this classified but in my opinion it's not a stand alone. Yes each couple has their own story but a story continuation that so far goes on in each book that includes every member of the DC which is four men that are billionaires that own BDSM clubs however the identity of who own the clubs is private and not known to the public.

Ryder and Hadley are who we meet in this story and OMG let me tell you they are so believable I'm totally swooning. This isn't insta love it's been built over time but denied because of Ryder's loyalty to Hadley's father the senator. Ryder owner of BLACKBURN SECURITY takes his job seriously he's personally taken on the job of head security and doesn't take it lightly. Although these two have known each other for years a seven year age difference and his job has allowed Ryder to keep Hadley at arms length. Hadley has been relentlessly pursuing Ryder for the last year with only rejection and hurt to show for it. What happens when blackmail, corruption, and treats push these two together. Will fire meet ice or will they discover what feels so wrong might be what each one needs.

I'm not a person who gives away the story but my poor kindle may have gone flying out of pure frustration but hey that's a good book when an author makes you mad as far as I'm concerned.

I love this Dirty Little Secret series from Stacy Kennedy. Each one of these books are dripping hot and this one new one I was able to review is no different.

Ryder has his work cut out for him when it comes to protecting his client, the Senator, because along with that comes the woman he's been lusting for for many years.

Complications, threats, crimes, spilled secrets, naughty ménages, trouble with the sex clubs, and many more issues are laid at his feet. But the biggest complication of all is how to deal with his growing lust and feelings for Hadley. He is so sexy and steamy!

Stacy Kennedy knows how to dish it up it comes to hot and heavy romance. A little bit of erotica to keep things spicy, a little bit of suspense to keep your interest going, and some wonderful writing to keep those pages turning.

I've read many of Stacy Kennedy's books and she never disappoints. This one is another solid hit and thankfully there's one more coming in the series. I just can't wait.

I have read the,two previous books in this series, and this was by far my least favorite. For me there was way too much going on. PTSD, kidnapping, blackmail, assassination attempts, tabloid scandals....just too much! This book seemed more like trying to force,the storyline of the series to fit the idea of the book. And besides the sexy scenes there was very little relationship between the H/h. And although I didn't care for this one, I am still looking foreward to Gabe's story in the next book.

I have to admit that I didn't get very far into this one. Honestly, the author kept describing "corruption" but did not seem to know the meaning of the word. Political romance is one of my favorite sub-genres but not even the promise of that could keep me reading this one. If you are just in it for the romance and sex but not more of an explanation or plot, this one might just work for you.. A great action-packed story that keeps you thinking and turning the pages. Ryder and his band of security experts (I would like to see stories on them in the future) are fantastic characters. I liked Hadley but I cannot say I loved her. I was more interested in the suspense in this book. I really want to read Gabe’s story…why are these friends being spied upon and sold to the tabloids?

Third book in the series and it just gets better and better. It's about Hadley who's dad is a politician who's career could be ruined by a pic of Hadley having sex in a underground sex club. Ryder is sent this pic of Hadley and he can't help finding pics of Hadley arousing. He's known her since she was a kid and can't help but wanting her now. Hadley has been waiting for a man like Ryder an they can't help falling for each other in between the dangerous game the blackmailers is player an it comes down to Ryder protecting Hadley life at any cost. Love this story and this series so much that I can't wait for more by this author. Have read her books before and will again and will be telling everyone to pick up her books you won't be disappointed at all. Of course I would recommend this book an author.

Restrained Under His Duty is a delicious read full of suspense, forbidden romance and intense chemistry.

While this book is the third in a series you definitely don't need to read the first two and this can be read as a complete standalone.

This book is full of suspense moments, with elements of danger mixed in along with the undeniable sexual chemistry between Hadley and Ryder. Ryder is strong, confident and his protectiveness towards Hadley and the Senator is SWOON WORTHY. There is great push and pull between Hadley and Ryder as they try to navigate their relationship between Ryder needing to be professional in his job to protect her and her father as well as their desire for one another. When the need for desire can't be contained it's quite explosive and Ryder's dominance will have you fanning yourself. There are also elements of BDSM in this book that I think are just the right amount to have your pulse racing but not overdone.

As Ryder and Hadley try to figure out who is blackmailing them you are kept on your toes almost trying to figure it out with them. However the Author throws some twists and turns your way. Just when you think that it might be over and it's all figured out you get another huge incident that will have your breath stop for a minute and you will find you can't take your eyes of the pages finding out what happens next.

I will definitely be wanting to read the first two books in this series and look foward to more to come.

This is a great series! The book had everything, suspense, romance-hot sex, and murder. Ryder is who is head of security for the senator has tough decision's to make. He has fought his feeling for the senator's daughter for years and now has come the time to either go for it or not. Hadley has wanted Ryder since she was a little girl and no matter what she has done or how much she trys he won't budge. But when things start happening to her and her family he can no longer fight it. Ryder and Hadley's chemistry is over the top when they finally meet up. This book has secerts exposed regarding the happening of his four friends and decisions made that will change everyones life all around. This book kept me on my toes looking for answers making it hard to put down. I can't wait for Gabe's book to get more answers and see what happens with his story. Honest review in exchange for ARC.

I enjoyed book, did not know it was a part of a series before hand, but intend to read the two previous books. Ryder is Hadley's dad, the Senator's bodyguard. So he sees a relationship with Hadley as forbidden, she teases him, because she is in love with him. Ryder constantly pushes her away, so Hadley does reckless things, such as going to a sex club, .because she feels rejected. Hadley gets a blackmail email, and Ryder promises to find out who is sending it, before it comes out. That is when he realizes, the reason why she is so reckless, and decides he is not going to push her away anymore. They start there love affair, but they are still being blackmailed, now is it because of Politics or someone trying to get the secrets of Ryder and his friends? Can't wait for next book.

I LOVED this one. Extremely well written. Nicely paced. Full of twists and turns. It had some hot sex scenes. It had interesting side characters. Both main characters were likable. In fact, this book had a nice change of pace, and it was the heroine who slept with OM because even though they both wanted each other, the hero kept rejecting her. I appreciate the author deviating from the overused cliché of it being the hero sleeping around while the heroine pines away.

This is the third book in the series, and since I haven't read the first two books, I can safely say this can be read as a standalone with no issues. That said I enjoyed this one so much I definitely will be going back to read the other books soon. All in all, this was a fabulous way to spend a couple of hours so two HUGE thumbs up from yours truly.

Since she was a little girl, she has said she was going to marry him. Life, obstacles, and him fighting them have gotten in the way, until fate brings a threat and them together. Their path to happiness is not an easy one.When they finally come together though, steam comes off the pages. There is danger, enemies, and a few other roadblocks their road to a happy ending.This was a good read. This book kept my interest and the mystery kept me guessing until the end. I cannot wait to read the next stay and find out why this person is selling their secrets. A good series.

RESTRAINED UNDER HIS DUTY is the third book in the Dirty Little Secrets series and each book is a stand-alone. This is the first book I have read in this series and now I want to read the first two books, too. This story is full of intrigue, mystery, nonstop action and lots of steamy scenes.

Hadley Winters’s father is a senator and Ryder Blackwood, a multi millionaire who owns his own security company, heads up security for the senator. The senator is like a surrogate father to Ryder and he will do whatever it takes to keep the senator and his family safe. Ryder is in love with Hadley, the senator's daughter but feels it is best to keep his distance from her. Ryder and Hadley have a few things going against them, including their ten year age difference.

Hadley is easy to like but she is also full of contradictions. Even though her family is wealthy and her father is a senator, she is down to earth and a nice person. Hadley is dealing with some issues and she continues to feel guilty for things that happened in her past.

Ryder Blackwood is a protective, alpha male, my favorite type of hero.
He takes his job seriously and he is loyal and always tries to do the right thing. Ryder is a former Army Ranger and has learned he can't trust anyone, except the few people close to him. He cares about Hadley, is protective of her and tries to stay away from her, but just can't seem to help himself from wanting her. They are a perfect match, Ryder likes to dominate and Hadley loves to submit to him. These two have explosive chemistry together.

I liked Ryder and Hadley together. Unfortunately, there are so many other things going on and there is little time for them to be together. Ryder is working hard trying to track down the person who is after Hadley. Time is running out they have to find the person who is threatening her. This is an intense story. Great fast moving plot with lots of interesting characters and sizzling chemistry.

This is the fourth book in Dirty Little Secrets series and once again Stacey Kennedy gave us a gorgeous Alpha Dominant male to enjoy.

Ryder Blackwood's feelings are certainly going to get him in trouble when he has to look out for Senator Winters daughter Hadley, a young lady who has always gotten his attention, a little more than he wants but secretly craves.

Hadley has always been in love with Ryder, even remembering when she was a little girl and first met him, telling him she was going to marry him some day.

This book is full of action, both in and out of the bedroom and with the approval of the parents, Ryder has to work twice as hard to try to keep Hadley at arms length while protecting her as well as his heart. Hadley is everything he has ever wanted but with danger around every corner, Ryder is not sure how he can keep everyone safe especially when the threats become more insistent towards the Senator and Hadley.

For a bodyguard who has been protecting this senator for a very long time, it did not come as a surprise to me that he had fallen in love with the senator’s daughter. I think the chemistry just jumped off the pages and I absolutely adored reading the chemistry and the passion that jumped off the page.

Hadley; I love you. The character was full of flaws but you know what that is what makes a book more real. People and their characters do not need to be perfect, they just need to be themselves. I am not here to persuade people to like her or to read this book but I am here to say that I loved every second of reading this book.

I did not put book down. I don't know how Stacey does it, but each new book in the series just keeps getting better. This one was the kicker. Book 3 of the series is about Ryder and Hadley.

I'll preface this by saying and I can't say it enough... read the first two books. They are outstanding.

Ryder Blackwood is the owner of Blackwood Securities, the ultra elite security firm charged with covering Senator Winters and his family. Daughter Hadley has had it bad for Ryder since she was young, but she's cranked up the heat the past year only to be shut down by Ryder. Ryder is hands off, despite their chemistry which is so obvious. Ryder and Hadley's father are close, as well as being his responsibly for security. Hadley's gotten herself into a bit of a mess and it now threatens her fathers Senate seat. This sets up the story which brings multiple dangers to not just the Senator but Hadley, Ryder and the Dominants Council. For a quick backstory on the DC; Ryder, Gabe (pub owner) Micah and Darius. They, along with being successful businessmen; quietly own very high end sex clubs. Lately they've found themselves in the tabloids for reasons unknown with stories that aren't true. That's a subplot thread that's run through each book. This book brings them closer to how this has been happening, we get the story by default through this one.

Someone is blackmailing Hadley to get her father to step down from office. The clock is ticking and they have 2 days to find out who it is. Meanwhile things heat up between Ryder and Hadley, thank god.... at long last. If anyone can write panty melting, smoking hot steam with a little side order of kink it's Stacey.

Between the suspense in this story, which was so well written and with some amazing twists and turns this is my favorite book thus far in the series.
The characters had depth, the dialogue was smooth, the sex was really well done and not tedious. And ladies you know what I'm saying... Ryder Blackwood has more than a few tricks up his amazing sex sleeve. No redundancy there. There is real emotion in this book and you can sense that when you read it. The plot was so well done and the twists... Read this book!!!

This is a must read. Leaves you with a nice book buzz when you finish reading it!! Bravo Stacey!

Book 3 of the series did not disappoint.

Hadley and Ryder's story is perfect for them. A good bodyguard to lovers story. While the love part was quick when it happened, It totally worked and even better a good bit of story left for these two.

I really thought I had the "who done it" figured out, and was pleasantly surprised that I was wrong. I did not see that turn of events take place, nor what happens after with Senator Winters.

Now for book 4 to find out about Gabe.

Every book in this series just gets better and better. Hadley & Ryder's story is not only packed with sexual tension and forbidden romance but it is also jam packed with action and suspense. Figuring out who's behind the leaks to the tabloids turns into a matter of live and death. There was never a dull moment. One might question what my complaint was? Not to disclose too much of the ending but it bothers me when certain milestones are met in a relationship but the MC don't even say ILY. I cannot wait for Gabe's book and how this all will turn out.
