I remember reading L.A. Fiore for the first time with her last book, Collecting The Pieces (Read My Review) and I remember falling in love; in love with the characters she wrote and in love with her talent.

So, remember the echo of the love, I ended up requesting review the next book – the blurb was just a bonus.

And I was done for. The “Prologue” where we are introduced into the life of Damien Tate – and everything in me broke. He was five years at that time. And I didn’t know how Damien (and I!) would repair ourselves.

He was a teenager when he was given a semblance of a life by Cam Ahern, who took him home and shared his family with him. But it was his sister Thea Ahern who gave him light, even if it was for a little while.

This is Damien and Thea’s story from 2003 till present date; it is a story of first love, second chances and soul mates.

From the first moment Damien and Thea met, I had been rooting for them; through everything they both went through I still rooted for them! You want know why? Because unlike other characters, they did not make stupid decisions, they weren’t impulsive nor were they reactionary! They were humans, and I abs-freaking-lutely LOVED that Ms. Fiore was able to get that across!!

“I will move heaven and earth to keep you right where I’ve always wanted you, at my side. I will walk in the rain so you stay dry, I will forgo food so you can eat, I will take the pain so you won’t feel any and I will absolutely step in front of danger to keep you safe.”

Damien Tate was broken; there were absolutely no two ways about it – his early life, his father abandoning him and his mother being a superlative biatch; there was no way he would ever escape unscathed, but even through all that he never lost his goodness; he may have lost his way, but never his goodness. And that’s why I fell in love with him, even with all the decisions he took through the years!

Thea Ahern was the girl who saw the good in the boy who felt invisible. She had eyes for him, and the best for him in her heart and that made her special to me. The fact that she wasn’t a drama queen and knew how to be rational just upped her in my eyes as well. But I fell for her, when I got to know the woman she had become; a strong confident sassy girl, who could still make Damien smile and laugh when nothing else could.

I loved Damien and Thea as teenagers, but that’s what they were children; but when they come together as adults; that’s when you realise that sometimes first loves aren’t lost, they just grow into forever love even when you have lost all hope.

Pick this book up – I am not gonna lie, IT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL – and that’s the best recommendation I can ever give to any book!

“To offer her a blanket and my body when she watches a scary movie. To hold her hair when she is sick and to supply the water when she drinks. To keep the house stocked with cookie ingredients and working fire extinguishers. To make her eggs and bacon and two cups of black coffee with two sugars every morning. To fall asleep next to her every night and to wake to her beautiful face every morning. To plant my babies in her, to build a life and family with her, to grow old with her…watching as life etches itself on her face. My intention, Cam, is to spend the rest of my life with her.”

Another Exciting Series!

This is the second book I have read by L.A. Fiore and am growing to like her writing style. She is big on the set up, then changes gear and takes you on a totally different ride, with the original set up still playing in the background. Very clever!

As in the previous book, the first half, or just about, is the ins and outs of the relationship between Thea and Damian. We start when they are seventeen and span years with them, going back and forth with whatever the so called relationship was and thier current lives. Thirteen years is a long time to pine after someone and if I had any complaints about this story, that would be it.

Damian is awesome. Sure he has a troubled past to say the least, but boy did he come out right side up when it was all said and done. I liked that he was a man of few words and used actions instead. There was no question that he loved Thea, no matter how many years went by. He was loyal and protective and sexy as hell.

When Damian finally plants his roots back home for the long haul, that's when everything goes to hell in a handbasket quickly. Secrets are uncovered as the ugly truth is told. Thea had no idea what actually surrounded her and her family.

The book is well written from dual points of view and like the previous one, is full of supporting characters you care about as much as the main characters. Everybody has an opinion and gets thier two cents in the story that starts to unfold. I would say Devil You Know is a bit of a romance/mystery read that really worked out well for me. A little bit of everything and it all seemed to fit perfectly in the end.

I am sorry to say that this is my first L.A. Fiore book but it WILL NOT be my last. Holy cannoli! What a powerhouse story! I was hooked from the very beginning and incredibly sad that it was over at the end.

The story of Damian and Thea is lovely yet thoroughly heart-wrenching. I normally don't cry but definitely shed more then one tear while reading. I loved that we got the back story AND the conclusion all in one book. L.A. Fiore took the time to write a finely crafted story with well thought-out characters and free of plot holes. I was so wrapped up in the book I actually lost track of all time, completely immersed and unwilling to let go.

I realize that this is a review free of details about the actual book. There is no way that I can get into the story without giving something away. Suffice it to say, Devil You Know is a book more then worth your time. One of the very best books I have read in years!

This is my first read by LA Fiore and I absolutely loved it. It is def one that will pull at your heart strings. A great second chances read with great story and character development! I can't wait to see what comes in future reads involving side characters. But most importantly Thea & Damian...loved their story!

A total MUST-READ!!!!

Where do I even start with how much I absolutely enjoyed and LOVED this book!! All of the characters are strong, the story is strong, there is romance, mystery, thrills, and edge of your seat movement throughout the entire story. This is book one in what I can only hope to be a series of standalone books and I CAN'T WAIT for the next one!!

One of the things that really drew me into this story was how the characters had an instant, almost unspoken connection. They just knew what the other needed and no questions asked, gave it. You know the saying, “like recognizes like“, and how some people relate that to their sounds finding one another? To me, it felt like that with these two main characters.

“Three words and I was a goner. I didn’t understand what I felt for this boy nor did I appreciate the uniqueness of it at the time, but I did know that little smile and those three words was all it took for Damian Tate to claim a piece of me that I would never get back.”
So the beginning of the book is set in their teenage years, and the ending is when they are in their early thirties, but that doesn’t mean that they didn’t see each other during this time. Small, stolen moments, kisses, touches and glances were what kept these two going for all of those years. The hope and love for what they could be, and even if they couldn’t, just having the other safe and close. There were definitely harboured feelings and these moments didn’t help the characters to move on whatsoever, I think they actually strengthened their relationship. But with this, while the situation was heartbreaking, it was also hopeful. I always had hope for these two finding their way back to one another, that fate would make it happen. It’s almost romantic, in a twisted way. Never being able to give someone up but only ever getting small pieces of them in return.

“He didn’t say anything and neither did I. We had already said everything we needed to. He just held me for a really long time and when he walked away he took my heart with him.”
Have you ever started a book and known right away that you were going to fall in love with it? That was me while reading Devil You Know. But before I get to that, one of the first pages had a drawing of Damian’s tattoo. HOLY CRAP I needed a warning, LOL! I started this book late at night while sitting in the dark. I was a little scared for a second. I was hooked by the prologue. Enamoured by chapter one. Heartbroken by chapter two. Aching by chapter three. Crying by chapter four. Shall I go on? Angst is my thing. I love it. But for those who aren’t huge angst lovers, don’t fret, because you do get a reprieve. It’s more so just the beginning which is heavy laden, but with good reason. After the first few chapters it gets easier. But all in all, beginning, middle and end, it was as good, if not better, than I had hoped for.

Now, let’s talk about POV, and this is going into two parts. My first thought was that I really liked how it was not only dual POV, but how it changed rather frequently. You didn’t have to sit through an entire chapter before you got back to the other character. I think this was not only important but an extremely strategic decision given how many years there two spent apart and how they lead two different lives for so long. This way, you got to see what was happening with both of them and how their relationship effected the other. On the flip side to this, readers, be sure to pay attention at the begging of the chapters! The graphic will indicate which character’s POV is starting. Coffee cup for Thea, dog tags for Damian.

“Wherever you are, the places you go, the horrors you’ll see, the people you’ll befriend, please remember me…remember the girl with the crazy hair who is thinking about you every day. You’re not alone, Damian.”
At first, I just assumed that this was going to be a military book that focused on PTSD when the hero finally came home. I mean, I kind of have a right to expect that, do I not? Most of the military or military inspired books that I’ve read are sort of along those lines. But it’s so completely different that I was both floored and super excited. The hero is haunted because of what he believes he is, not because of what he’s done. The military was his solace, his place to belong and become a leader. It truly shaped him into the protective, observant, alpha, swoony package that he is. The military was a way for him to find himself and give him purpose. He became harder, stronger, and created a skill set to be rivalled by the best. The military was more so to explain and show how he became the man he is, rather than be the focus of the book which was a different take than normal but one that I really enjoyed.

One of the main things to tug at (*cough* rip out *cough*) my heart strings were the letters that Thea and Damian exchanged. Now I need to emphasize this. It is no where near the same as Dear John. Yes, he’s in the military. That’s about the only similarity. They are few and far between, but each letter broke my heart more and more. I couldn’t believe all of the pain these two had while trying to let go of each other. So incredibly sad.

“The only thing worse than a life without you, is a world without you in it. Remember me like this. Just like this and know I’m remembering you.”
In the same thought, can I please just give a round of applause to our service men and women? And besides them, the family that are waiting for them at home. I can’t imagine what these would be like. I don’t think I’d be a strong enough person to handle all of this pressure and worry all the time, so I have that much more respect for these people and their families for what they go through.

So while this book covers a lot of ground over the years while the characters are separated, there is still a majority of it set in the present day, so don’t worry, you see plenty of these characters interacting. When they’re finally in the same place at the same time again, my heart basically sighed. I was so excited for them to have a chance together.

This is the type of story that shows a large portion of the characters lives, so sit back and prepare for over a decade with these two. I love how it started as a young adult age group. I have a huge soft spot for YA and it’s one of my biggest guilty pleasures. There’s an innocence and a charm to it. Damian, while still quite and controlled, absolutely had this charm on display. Like Thea, I couldn’t help but to be drawn to him. Even at a young age, there was always a tension and an energy between these two. I FREAKING LOVED seeing this as a constant when they got older. Sparks and tempers flew because there was so much energy. Because of this, Damian at times goes from hot to cold. At first, I was a bit confused and couldn’t really understand why. But when the pieces fell together, wow. He was still that vulnerable boy that Thea first met. He was still battling his past everyday. He was trying to be a protector to those who he loved.

“I love you, but sometimes love isn’t enough. Be happy. Live your life, Thea, and know there’s a man out there who remembers you…will always remember you.”
Along those same lines, I want to touch in a bit of an underlying theme. Family doesn’t always mean blood. You don’t get to choose your family, they’re just there. They could be the best, or most miserable people in your life, and we saw both sides of that coin in this story. What the important part is, is that you can create your own family from those of your own choosing. Even without meaning to, Damian created his own family, and the one of Thea and Cam grew exponentially. Family is everything. Blood is not. It was truly spectacular seeing everyone come together and their love for one another. From the main characters to Anton, Cam, Kimber and Ryder, Mic and Razor, Rosalie, the list goes on.

Thea was such a fantastic character. Not only was she honest, smart and kind, but she was extremely charming, witty, and at times, sarcastic. I loved her sense of humour! I feel like she would be the type of girl I would normally hang out with. Plus she was so understanding, levelheaded, and smart about everything that was going on.

“Have you ever thought about following in your old man’s footsteps? You have a knack for reading people.”
“Becoming a cop? There are a couple of problems with that idea. First, you know my feelings about running, so chasing down a suspect is not going to happen. And blue is not a good color on me.”
I have always loved romantic suspense novels and I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t read enough of them. But then I remembered why. I’m a stickler for plot. I sniff out holes, obvious answers and slip ups like a bloodhound, so it has to be a well thought out and meticulously executed plot to keep me guessing while trying to fit all the pieces together. Considering I loved this book, I sure you can deduce quite quickly that the author did just that. So bravo, LA! I’m giving a standing ovation to you. It was complex but easy to follow. The reader never has to guess where the characters are drawing their ideas or conclusions from and the entire dynamic makes sense.

“I cracked the door to my bedroom and smelled coffee. Someone broke into my apartment and started brewing coffee? There was a part of me that had to give the home invader points for having their priorities straight, but that was my coffee. Damn it. I smelled bacon and that was the last straw. Fear gave way to anger. It was one thing to break into someone’s home and kill them, but you were stepping over the fucking line eating their bacon and drinking their coffee.”
There were a few scenes (in particular, the more intense ones) that I think could’ve benefitted from some more detail. Nothing major, but they moved fast and I found myself having to reread to make sure I understood all that was happening.

“Who’s your friend, Thea?”
Seriously? Her too?
“Who? Him? I don’t know. We just left the bank at the same time.”
As I hoped, her attention snapped to me and she glared. “And that’s why he’s standing here with you now.”
“I think he’s a little slow,” I whispered then added, “I didn’t want to be rude.”
“I’m sorry for my daughter, Damian. I really did try to teach her manners, but she is just so damn stubborn.”
For me, the perfect (Ha! See what I did there?) song to emulate this book is Perfect by Ed Sheeran. Between starting out young and the love spanning ages, to an unsure hero, his angel and a soul sweeping, dive in head first kind of love, I really get a Damian and Thea vibe from this song. I’ve only included the first verse, but really, each verse is amazing for them.

I found a love for me
Darling, just dive right in and follow my lead
Well, I found a girl, beautiful and sweet
Oh, I never knew you were the someone waiting for me
‘Cause we were just kids when we fell in love
Not knowing what it was I will not give you up this time
But darling, just kiss me slow
Your heart is all I own
And in your eyes you’re holding mine

I LOVE Anton! Seriously! What’s not to like? Even early on he reminded me so much of Lucien Black, then I was thrilled to see the connection between them. This guy is such an enigma and I’m so enchanted by him, I can’t wait to see what his character will bring to the table when he gets his own book! I feel like I need to start a countdown now.

Everyone loves different things about books and that’s freaking fantastic. Some want an alpha. Others like swoony and charming. Kick ass heroines, rockstar, sports romance, etc. But if I could pick my favourite thing to read, it’s angst. I LOVE having my heart ripped out of my chest. Tear it to shreds, stomp it in the dirt. When an author makes me feel an ache this strong, that’s my favourite part.

“I want a lifetime, Thea.”
“We’ll start with that.”
I was only a quarter of the way into Devil You Know and I’d already had tears. My heart hurt. I was so insanely crazy about this story that I wanted to press a big ‘pause’ button on my life so I could do nothing but read about Thea and Damian. And wow, what a journey they had. LA Fiore put her heart on the pages and it shows – it’s her best work yet! Devil You Know is heartbreaking, yet hopeful. Beautiful, yet scarring. This is not a story to miss. Buy it. Buy now!

This book was heartbreaking from the off and I  just loved the way the story evolved from them being young and carefree to a point to the stresses and strains that life throws at you. I love the writing and the way the story was told it was a dual point of view and the way the two meshed together was brilliant.

Damien, God did he have a hell of a life. Mental abuse and hatred filled is young days and he had no one until the Aherns stepped in and rescue him. Cam and Thea were twins that barrelled into Damien's life and Thea stole his heart. This story is about there painful journey of having almost having it all but circumstances stopped them and this is there battle to be as one.

A great read that is so much more than just a love story. It's a story of hope, of longing and finally becoming something, realising you are someone and that your past doesn't shape the man you become. I completely recommend this book. It made me laugh and cry so so much.

So, this was my first book by LA Fiore, and I have to say it was a good read. There are some things that didn't convince me 100%, but in general I liked it!

Damian and Thea are one of these couples that make you swoon and sigh in happiness, because their love for each other is so deep and special, and nothing can really stop them from trying to be together.

The book is divided in two parts, one long prologue, where we read about the first part of Damian and Thea's love story, and the real focus of the book, so the period after Damian's deployment.

One thing that I really liked about this book was the presence of great secondary characters, that gave even more to the story and played a huge part in the book.

Even though I liked the story, there are two small things that made lose a little interest, if i can say so:
- I felt like the narration was a little too fragmented, especially in the first part. I think it was because sometimes there were sequences of really short scenes, with also change of point of views, that as a whole I appreciated because they gave me insight of both Damian and Thea's thoughts, but that didn't help with my "problem". It is probably a feeling of mine, but sometimes it felt like a movie because of the several short scenes one after another.
- unfortunately I didn't appreciate at 100% the suspence part of the book because I got the "culprit" around the middle of the book :(

Neverthless, this was a good structured book, with well developed characters and a good storyline :)

4 Stars

I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I was kept interested. The story has pain, abuse, suspense, friends to lovers, love, and heartbreak.

This is Thea and Damian’s story. Damian was left with his abusive and uncaring mother when his father walked out. He becomes friends with Cam who is Thea’s twin sister. He spends time at their house and becomes almost a part of their family. As love develops between Thea and Damian they both understand their future goals are different. He enlists and she goes off to school. Over the next thirteen years they are apart but they have never forgotten each other. When he moves back home things get a little crazy. Secrets are exposed. Things are not what they seem. People are out to make sure these two are not together. But can they fight through all the obstacles and end up together no matter what?

I loved both characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.

An EPIC love story!

Devil You Know is a truly epic story of young love that withstands the test of time. Years apart did nothing to quell the love and desire that stirred between Thea and Damian.

With the off to college and Damian serving his country in the military, their longing for each other only intensified and once they were back in the same zip code...years later, the desire only sparked more desire. They had amazing chemistry and those feeling they had for each other were so strong, it brought it all to life for me with each word.

Throw in a dash of suspense and a sprinkle of intrigue and Devil You Know had the recipe for an amazing love story. I can't wait to see what's in store for Anton in his story.

Again – LA Fiore has given us a book that is full of suspense, twists and a story that was unpredictable. I absolutely loved this second chance romance, it’s characters were easy to fall in love with even when your heart was breaking.

Damien Tate and Thea Adrenaline are complete and utter opposites, it’s hard to believe they are even friends. Damien is friends with Thea’s twin brother.

This story about love and friendship. We see the growing pains from teenager to adulthood. During those years we don't always make the right decisions, even when we think we are making the correct one.

LA Foire delivers their thoughts and feelings with every word she wrote.
I was so engrossed her words, they flowed over every page. I loved the suspense of this book, and just like I expect from LA Fiore I kept wondering what bomb she was going to throw next. This is the type of book that you will try and process it even when you’re done. Absolute book hangover!

*BRB…. I just have to re-read the last chapter AND Epilogue again to get my last fix of DamianCavemanAlphaMaleHottie*

*****
Where have you been all this time, L.A. Fiore?
No. Let me rephrase this…
Where have I been living all this time, without knowing nothing about your books?

Well, DEVIL YOU KNOW was my first book of this author and I know two things:
It will not be my last of hers
And definitely it will be the first of all the books she plans on writing in the series.

But…. Back to this book.
My review will probably suck compare with all the great ones that have already been shared here (my English sucks a little so excuse me), so I will simply say why I LOVED this story so much.

L.A. Fiore’s writing is just perfect.
When each page of a book has you enjoying so much, wanting so much to know what’s coming in the next, FEELING EVERY MINUTE with Damian and Thea, like YOU are the one who’s’ falling in love, who’s hurting, who’s struggling, hoping, getting frustrated, or hot, etc., it really means the author knows a job!
Romance genre is so full of “empty” books… I’m a huge fan of Adult Romance, but I’m also very demanding, I put the bar very high, because, of course I love the steamy stuff, but if I don’t get a solid plot, consistency and characters I completely connect with, the sex part is useless, and if you try to wrap a bunch of steamy scenes (even the hottest ones) with some action stuff, it doesn’t matter, I won’t like the book. I’m saying this because I’ve been very disappointed lately picking some books, because the blurb looked so great, and rating where really high. And beside the explicit sex description, they really lack of consistency and were full of clichés.
But again, reading is a very personal and subjective experience

So, what did I love about DEVIL YOU KNOW? Everything:

- The characters: You just cannot NOT fall in love with Damian. I mean, I was totally in love with him by 4% of the book. His childhood, his silence, his big heart, his strength, his loyalty, his love for Thea…
And Thea…. She is so smart and funny, brave, honest… and she cannot bake at all.
Damian and Thea are so PERFECT together, and for each other… They are so different, yet, they just fall for each other. Damian is horribly quite. And Thea is all verbal and mental diarrhea. He’s dark, when Thea is like a sunlight in his darkness. She is so funny, and even if Damian isn’t a clown, he LOVES her humor. He rarely smiles… but when he does….Damn….

- The importance of Family: and I’m not talking about the blood related one, but one you CHOOSE, or the family who choose you. They are so many characters here to love, the father, the mother, the brother, the girlfriends, the neighbors, Razor AND ANTOOOOOOOON.

- Yes I’ve already said it, but…. The writing!!!!: fabulous, from the first page. I’ve never got bored, I’ve always FELT. EACH FEELING, bad or good, sad or happy, a total rollercoaster, till the end. And the best part: this book NEVER felt rushed, it has the PERFECT length, the perfect pace, a double POV (I’m a fan of double POV, and of course of male POV).
And what about the plot? There are tons of romance books out there with “similar” plots: danger lurking, alpha male wanting to protect the female he lusts/loves, very bad people with very bad intentions, mafia plots, blablabla…But DEVIL YOU KNOW is a wonderful mix of romance, suspense, angst and humor.

I’m gabbling so I’ll just say why you must grab this book: you’ll feel a lot of emotions. The deep ones.
You’ll go from sadness to laughs, tenderness, passion, tears, angst, devastation, hope, loss, anger, understanding, regret, and every time, you’ll be bracing for something more to happen, but you’ll always have this little hope whispering in your head.
And when you’ll close the book, you’ll be left wanting for more, and for the story of another character…. One in particular…. Which is fantastic, since it means L.A. Fiore did an excellent job, but it sucks too, because you’ll have to wait months until her next release.

So my advice? Grab A DEVIL YOU KNOW, enjoy it fully, and to make the wait more “bearable”, just read her previous books.

That’s what I’m going to do.
And of course, as a French/Spanish reader, I really hope her books will get translated one day (**winks to French/Spanish Publishers**)

"She was a beauty and I was sin."

Another heart-wrenching, mind-bending, adrenaline rush addition to my L.A. Fiore collection of masterpieces. I might as well buy a bookcase just for her books, there hasn't been one yet that I didn't love. She's a favored auto-click author for me at this point. She never fails to take me through every emotion in a single book. She doesn't just give it away either, she makes me work for it. She spreads clues and secrets throughout, weaving a trail of suspense that keeps me in it's clutches. She can make me laugh, cry, rage, melt and end up with a smile on my face... every single time.

Damian is broken. My favorite kind of bad boy. Full of pain and demons that rule his world. But in spite of the devil on his back, he is capable of love. He loves fiercely, but he feels unworthy to receive it. He's heard about his unworthiness so much that he's bought in to it. Choosing to deny himself rather than to claim what he truly desires... her.

Thea is perfection. She's adorable, sweet, funny and fierce. She loves hard and laughs loud. She's my new girl crush. I want to join her on girls night, and on family dinner night. I envy her the amazing yet unusual collection of blood and adopted family that she collects like stray puppies. I'm not the only one that can't resist her.

Damian and Thea met and fell in love when she was only seventeen years old. They wanted forever, but life had different plans for them. It was a struggle for them, and me, as obstacle after obstacle kept preventing them from being together. My heart broke time and again as events played out over the years, causing pain for them, and for me. I became so invested, feeling like part of their inner circle as they shared their thoughts and feelings with me as I read. And let me tell you, Damian thinks a whole lot more than he speaks. Every single word is a treasure.

"I had been devastated when Damian had left at eighteen, but he wouldn't be the man he was now if he hadn't gone."

Yeah, he sure did grow up. In more ways than one. He's always been dark, but now he's even darker. His eyes have always been sad, but now they're cold. He has even more secrets that he keeps hidden. His years in the military have changed him. But when Damian and Thea are together, the spark is still there. They still want each other. Will they finally give in to it? Is the time finally right? Or will they keep circling each other, and their feelings, again and again? Will the passion consume them or will they give in to it?

What? You expect me to give you the answers to those questions? Hell no! You need to read this masterpiece for yourself. But I'll give you a few treats...

"He was built like he had been airbrushed to perfection."

And... "During the harder parts of our separation I had contacted Yankee Candle hoping they could take his scent from a t-shirt of his I had and turn it into a candle. My very own Damian Tate scented candle."

Yeah, you guessed it, Thea is not the only one who felt like, "I might need more than a fan, maybe an ice suit." Damian is the only addiction stronger than her love for sweets and coffee. And trust me when I tell you that after you read Devil You Know, you'll feel the same.

I'm overjoyed that while this amazing read is a standalone, it is part of a series. There are more extremely sexy 'Lost Boys' that you will be panting over once you meet them in this book. I can't wait to spend more time with bad boy Anton...sigh. ♥ The line forms here...

I would most definitely recommend reading this book. Devil You Know was such a great debut for this all new series. I am looking forward to reading more about these highly addictive characters.

Sweet Jesus.  This book rocked. From the characters to the second chance love story - everything about L.A. Fiore's latest romance, Devil You Know is amazing. I LOVED Damian and Thea.

Their book is the first installment in the Lost Boys series and it is a great introduction to all of the characters.  As teenagers, a friendship forms between Damian, Thea and Cam which ties them together into adulthood.  Their relationships are enough to make you want to get into the series, but it is the connection between Damian and Thea that truly lures you into wanting more. Their bond will have you telling your best friends to read this book.

Because nothing about them finding solace and happiness together is easy. Start to finish, Damian and Thea share a crazy and intense uphill journey to be together.  However, when they find themselves finally in a place where they're able to give a relationship a try you'll find yourself practically cheering out loud.

I think it's because you experience so much of their lives that you're invested in them as individuals and as a couple.  You want their happiness.  You want them to be together.  You want them to get past their problems.

Not only is the book well written and thought out, the characters are incredible.  Addicting. They'll make you laugh, swoon and pant.  I was consumed by this duo and once I met them, I couldn't put their book down.

Basically, it's a great love story with a wicked sub-plot filled with drama and in my opinion, Devil You Know is a must read recommendation.  So get your copy as soon as possible.  You'll be psyched you did.
