This is my second time reading the book and I love just as much as the first time. It has lots of action and gets hot in the bedroom. And that is before she finds out he is a tiger shifter. But she has her own secrets that might just end this new relationship. He is definitely a geek, but a handsome tiger shifter geek. She is a kickass and ask questions later type of woman. What could they possibly have in common.

Great story for anyone that reads paranormal romance.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

Before you go any further, this book was previously published in the anthology “Wild”, which the author has kindly informed, readers about in the description on Amazon. I like that she has done that for the readers, I have purchased books before (not by this author) and have found I already own it but under a different book title, yes, one-click is my frenemy.
Now moving on to the good stuff; I love shifters! This author gives you a great story with action, sass and a steamy shower scene all rolled up into one short story. Broderick is a tiger shifter/geek with a job to do, audit the books to a gentlemen’s club, he also has some seriously bad pick up lines; they are so bad you find yourself laughing out a little too loud. I used one of his lines on my husband, you know just for fun and if you could have seen the look on his face, it would have sent you running for the bathroom too. Lulu is the manager to the gentleman’s club and she has a secret. Will her secret put her in more danger? I don’t want to give too much of the story away so guess you will have to get the book and read for yourself. If you love shifter stories with action, geeky lines that make you laugh, than this is a book for you. This is a great book for when out at the beach, that is if you don't mind people giving you a funny look every time you laugh. I look forward to more from this author and can’t wait for Fabian’s story to be told.

To Catch A Tiger is a fun book, with drama, adventure, romance. It was super funny, with Brody being a mushy male trying to court a tough female, and an ending that I did not expect at all. The story is set in a modern world like ours in which humans don't know about the existence of shifters, and the shifters have jobs and generally live like regular people It was well written and I read straight through, unable to put it down. I absolutely loved it, and can't wait to read the next story!

If you are looking for a story with drama, excitement, adventure, and romance plus one that is funny and silly, then this is it. Well written, most entertaining and a read that will take you away into a whole new world. Brody is one tiger who's tale you do not want to pull. Eve Langlais has not disappointed with this story.

Not too bad. Storyline was good. The characters were well developed, yet they held lots of secrets from each other.

This author of romantic shifter novels normally has at least cute and catchy dialogue to entertain the reader. Typical subject matter, but nice for fans of the genre. However, I felt that this was a particularly subpar offering. It felt unusually flat and the characters not as sympathetic as in some of her other books. Mildly entertaining, but nothing new or riveting. A bit boring in fact and I didn't really care enough to finish reading it..

I’m a huge Eve Langlais fan. Her shifter tales are the perfect guilty pleasure escape. Catch a Tiger by the Tail is a novella – the perfect length for a quick trip to fantasy land to escape the drudgery of daily life. I actually felt like this story could have been longer. There was plenty of background, excitement, and suspense to make this tale into novel-length – not to mention a surprising twist at the end of the story. I loved Broderick and Lulu. Broderick was a bit of a geek but too cute for words. I did think his innuendos were over the top. Lulu’s surprise wasn’t what I expected, and I do so love a good twist. Overall, a fun and quick read for a short escape from reality.

Warning: I am not a robot! I have feelings, thoughts, likes and dislikes and this review is based on that. You should read the book to form your own opinion/thoughts. Read on!

Rating: 3.5 Meow Stars!

The cover, it needs work. Also I know this is an ARC and it sure looks like it needs editing, there are a lot of broken words, i.e. “carry ing”. It bothered me a bit.

The story, someone is stealing money from a supposed lord, so he sends he most trusted accountant who happens to be a tiger shifter, he meets the person handling the books, but she happens to be his true mate, he knows that right away. The problem? She has secrets and she is not a shifter and doesn’t know they exist. I really enjoyed the book except for one thing, Broderick came up as a dominant male, but every so often he would think the word “Meow”, I don’t know, I couldn’t think of him as a powerful feline, every time I read that word I thought of a tiny, playful, fluffy, cute cat, not a Siberian tiger.

It ended on a cliffhanger, which made me want to get the next book ASAP, because Garoux is someone I would like to know and see how big of a man he is and what he will do when he meets his true mate.

The romance, i believed Broderick, her not so much and then she accepted rather easy the fact that shifters existed. I would have panicked at first and then find out that my true mate is one, even more.

Lulu, I couldn’t relate to her…

Broderick, he was funny, determined, geek, and hot.

Overall, did I like the book? Yes, I did. Would I recommend the book? Yes.

CATCH A TIGER BY THE TAIL takes place in the same world as LEGAL WOLF’S MATE, and with such a dramatic twist in the first book, I was still surprised by the twist in this one. These novellas are not necessarily a series; they were both released in shifter themed paranormal romance anthologies, so they’re made to be read individually. They are funny, sexy bites of paranormal romance that can be read in one sitting.

Broderick is a tiger-shifter accountant. He’s a wiz with numbers and making the correct sums appear. His mentor is the wolf-shifter alpha who has quite a few shady businesses under his control, so Broderick helps out with that. He’s smooth, but a bit dorky, and was instantly likeable.

Lulu is also interesting. She is obviously hiding something from the start, and Broderick cannot help but keep pulling at the thread like a kitten with a ball of yarn. I’m not typically a fan of lovers who keep big secrets from each other, but in novellas it works because they can’t keep the secret for long.

With lots of sexy action, scary shifter fights and dramatic reveals, CATCH A TIGER BY THE TAIL has just enough of everything to please those who like their paranormal romances more or less cheesy. I adore the cheese, personally.

A fun, sexy romp

Wow! Eve Langlais is at the top of her game with this short novella (121 pages). The author's snarky, fun, out-there sense of humor may be an acquired taste, but her legion of fans are sure to love this shifter tale. I sure do love it. Beware: Only buy this if you want a silly, sexy book. Also, if you already own the shifter anthology "Wild", then don't buy this novel because it was previously published in there.

The story is set in a modern world like ours in which humans don't know about the existence of shifters, and the shifters have jobs and generally live like regular people.

I love the sassy characters. Broderick is a hot, funny accountant who also happens to be a tiger shifter. He has the most charming cat-like behavioral traits. I absolutely love his character because he is so adorable and hot. I love how he courts his human mate Lulu, who is totally awesome. She is a modern woman, but she can kick butt like an Amazonian warrior. She valiantly tries to resist Broderick and his gift of chocolate, but no sane woman could hold out long against that romantic campaign.

Eve Langlais is quite good at writing action scenes. There is also a decent little mystery in the plotline.

I received a free advanced reading copy from the publisher via Netgalley, and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

I’ve liked several of Eve Langlais’ stories, so I snagged an arc of this one when it came up on Netgalley without really looking at what it was about. Once I started reading it, it sounded really familiar. It actually was part of the Wild Anthology, of which I’ve already reviewed. The good news is Catch A Tiger By The Tail was my favorite of the bunch and I liked it the second time around just as much as the first.

Broderick is a geeky accountant who’s far too sexy for his own good. He is hiding more than one secret, including who his real boss is, well, one of them at least. His super cheesy come-on lines had me in hysterics more than once, as did his hilarious inner thoughts.

Lulu is a badass little strip club manager also who has some huge secrets of her very own. Money is coming up missing from the club and the owner, a suspected mobster, wants to know who is stealing from him. Lulu is clueless as to who it is, other than the fact she knows it’s not her. The last thing she needed at this point is Broderick all up in her business, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t shake the pesky cat.

The banter between these two was interesting and quite funny. Broderick was hilarious enough for both of them, with Lulu’s seriousness playing well against all his chaos. The chemistry between them was a super hot bonus. Even with all the danger swirling around, neither could keep their mind off the other for very long. Those shifter soul mate bonds can be quite the bitch that way sometimes.

There were a couple twists at the end I did not see coming especially the truth about Lulu. I really enjoyed this quick little story that kept me laughing and interested from start to finish.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

Brody and Lulu are so great together! This book is full of romance, drama, mystery, and mostly humor, as Brody tries to find out who is behind the theft at the gentleman’s club. He meets the manager, Lulu, and realizes that she is his mate and also a suspect that he needs to check into.

I don’t want to give away the spoilers for this story so I will just say that Brody and Lulu seem to be the most mis-matched couple you could imagine and yet they work together. I love that she is so tough and when the guy tried to rob her, she smacked him down and he was in tears, loved that part! Brody seems like a mild mannered geek to Lulu and when trouble comes, she sees that he can handle trouble and his is not just a “pussycat” like he seemed.

When Lulu’s father met Brody and he didn’t think Brody could keep his daughter safe, I loved when Brody disarmed him and showed him just how strong and deadly he could be! Good thing there was no one around while I read this book as it kept me laughing all throughout the book- out loud!

There are several twists in this story that keep you guessing and really keeps your interest until you get to the end and find that Brody and Lulu find their HEA but Fabian’s story is just beginning.

3.5 stars---CATCH A TIGER BY THE TAIL by Eve Langlais is a stand alone, paranormal romance story line first released in the October 2016 anthology WILD. Eve adds CATCH A TIGER BY THE TAIL as her installment in the second, multi-authored anthology release. This is Siberian tiger shifter Brody (Broderick) Frederickson, and night club manager Lulu Lamontaine’s story line.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Brody and Lulu) CATCH A TIGER BY THE TAIL is a novella length paranormal romance that sees tiger shifter Brody Frederickson find his mate. Wolf shifter and pack alpha Fabian Garoux is desperate to uncover the source of some missing money from his Tail Waggers gentlemens club and sends tiger shifter Brody Frederickson undercover to ferret out the person(s) responsible for the theft. Enter Lulu Lamontaine-the club’s new bookkeeper-and the woman that calls to Brody’s inner feline. What ensues is the fast paced, quick building relationship between Brody and Lulu, and the ongoing struggle to uncover the truth.

CATCH A TIGER BY THE TAIL is a quick read; a humorous and fun story about secrets, lies, hidden agendas, and shifters. The premise is entertaining; the romance is fated and sexy; the characters are colorful and energizing. CATCH A TIGER BY THE TAIL is a spirited and lighthearted story of fated mates.

I expect 2 things with Eve Langlais - steaminess and laughter. I was not disappointed at all with this novella!

Broderick meets his mate, but she is the bar manager for a "gentleman's club" that he has to investigate for his mob boss. He has to audit the books to see who is stealing from them. When he realizes they are mated he is annoyed to realize she wants nothing to do with him, but can't stay away from her.

Lulu has her own secrets that she is keeping from Broderick, but can't seem to resist the instantaneous attraction between.

A read that was a perfect Sunday afternoon read. Lots of giggling at the banter between Lulu and Broderick and also Broderick and his tiger.

Lulu is one tough chick and Brody an accountant falls for her immediately. He wears a suit and works in a cubicle for the city, an admitted numbers geek. He’s also a Siberian tiger shifter and he’s just discovered that Lulu is his mate. When bad guys are popping up everywhere and shifting into bears, Brody is out to save her from danger despite her ability to save herself.

This was a fun, cute read with lots of humor – some of it a little immature but most of it spot on. Brody and Lulu’s interactions were so entertaining that my only complaint is this wasn’t long enough. While their story ends, it does lead into the next story with a little cliffhanger. A quick read told in dual points of view it’s perfect for those times when you’re struggling with a book hangover or can’t decide what to read. Of course, it’s also perfect to read just because.

Catch a Tiger by the Tail was a short but silly story about a tiger shifter, Brody, posing as an auditor to review the books for his mob boss and wolf shifter Fabian. Fabian believes someone is skimming off the books from his Gentlemen's club that Lulu manages. When Brody starts his investigation, he finds out that Lulu is his mate and there is all sorts of hidden dangers he needs to protect her from. He soon learns Lulu isn't a woman that needs protecting.

I couldn't really take this story serious with how silly it was, but it sure was entertaining. There were so many over the top references to his animal within, I couldn't help but bust out laughing. The Epilogue leads into the next book featuring Fabian and I'm looking forward to his book. If your looking for a fun, easy read, this is it. ARC provided by NetGalley.

Brody is an accountant that has been assigned to determine if the books are being cooked at a local strip club. When he gets there, he's thrown to find that Lulu, the club manager is none other than his fated mate!

As Brody tries to woo Lulu into liking him, they soon find that there are people after her. Brody has a secret - not only is he a shifter, but he works for the city's Alpha, who is considered to be a mob boss. Lulu's got a secret of her own, but she's too busy trying to stay alive.

Eve Langlais is always good for a laugh. I consistently enjoy her writing and the story lines she creates. Light and humorous, Catch a Tiger by the Tail was a quick, fun read. Brody and Lulu made a good couple and the epilogue created a nice intro for a sequel!

A big thanks to NetGalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Catch a Tiger by the tail is the story of Brody and Lulu. Each hold a profession you wouldn't expect and a secret you couldn't imagine quite either. Brody is an accountant, a shifter tiger, and well a geek. He is part of a pack who's alpha took him in after he survived a bite. When someone is trying to steal from his boss...things are gonna get crazy.

Lulu is the manager at brody's boss's business. Things aren't quite what they seem with her. She's tough as nails, can care for herself, and well her secret you just are gonna have to read about to find. She trys to fight the attraction to Brody but when things get heated seh wont be able to resist.

It was short but good. Sometimes you need a story that just moves along and doesn't spend a lot of time outside the story.

This book starts off almost with a bang! We meet Broderick as he’s being held at gun point. LuLu has caught a thief or so she thinks. He had a key and is there to do an audit of Tail Waggers, which is a gentleman’s club. Brody is a tiger who has just met his mate even if she doesn’t know anything about shifters or mates. The story goes at a fast pace and there’s all kinds of excitement throughout the book. We have bad guys who have a soft side and bad guys who are just plain evil! I really enjoyed reading it because Eve Langlais always writes a good paranormal book. I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
