Quiet Love was a beautiful and sweet story about two best friends who were destined to be together. Daniel and Rose were best friends literally forever, since they were in their hospital cribs. Daniel fell madly in love with Rose when they were teens but he had never enough courage to say a word about it, so he decided to move on, move away, live his dream of being a photojournalist. When he came back home, he moved in with his best friend, Rose and this is where their journey started.

I loved their relationship, when they were friends and when they finally became lovers. All of it was beautiful and sweet and romantic and sexy. There was a moment when I felt frustrated because Rose was so blind and Daniel was so quiet, but everything came in the right time, and when love was finally added to the equation, their story was perfect.

This is my first book by Helena Rac, I loved her writing style, it was fun and fluid and sexy. I loved all the characters, the main and secondary, and every plot twist was amazing. I LOL and screamed—out of frustration but everything was fine, don't worry—and I was left with a huge smile with how this book ended. It was amazing.

100% recommended. Now you go and fall in love with Daniel and Rose.

Love this sweet story about crushes turned in to adult love, best friends turn to lovers. Rose and Daniel have been friends since they were babies. Daniel is in love with Rose but she only sees him as a best friend until he moves in as a roommate. As the muddle through insecurities and awkwardness their relationship evolved to more than friendship. Recommended read

Daniel has been in love with his best friend Rose for some years and has even left for a trip around the world to get over her. But returning after two years has not made a difference and being her new roommate makes it more difficult. However, Rose is starting to have feelings for Daniel as well....

Sweet (but not innocent) friends-to-lovers story. I liked the writing, but it took ages for the story to take off. Told from alternating POV and in a slow pace the couple gets their happy ending. Daniel was a great character, Rose was a bit naive and slow to comprehend. It should not have taken those two - friends from the cradle - that long!

I really wanted to like this book more than I did. I love the premise of best friends become something more. I think this happens more likely than people realize.

I really loved Daniel from the beginning. The first chapter where Rose rips his heart out immediately drew me in. Daniel loves her and here is his big chance to tell her, and everything goes south. When he makes the decision to leave, my heart was breaking for him.

Enter Rose, two years later. Daniel has moved in with her, and she still doesn't see that she is feeling anything for him. This is where I felt it became forced. The two of them end up in some situations that should make her open her eyes - and she is still blind! Poor Daniel is still tied up in her and she is still not thinking of him that way. It just seemed odd to me after such a long absence.

I do think the book was well-written and like I said, I really loved Daniel. I just kind of think he deserved someone better than Rose.

I love friends to lover romance novels, so when I read the description of this it sounded fun and right up my alley. This is the first book I've read by this author and it won't be my last.

Oh Daniel!!! I loved him! He is what heroes are supposed to be! He was so smart and sexy in that nerdy type way. He was the best kind of awkward.

I wish rose would have seen Daniels love sooner. She had such bad luck with men but her perfect guy was right there in front of her. She was funny and quick witted.

This book was so sweet! Right from the start we know these characters are meant to be together, fate works in different ways and I loved it! The plot is a friends to lovers read but it was so much more then that. As stated above, they where always meant to be together they just had to work out all the kinks.

Overall I loved everything about this story it was sweet, it had some drama (light drama) and was a super feel good story! I hope to see more from the secondary characters in the future and maybe catch up with Rose and Daniel. I can't wait to read more from this author! 5 stars #2OCCJD

3.5/5. Unrequited love sucks. Daniel knows that better than anyone. He left town and country for 2.5 years to find himself and to escape his love and lust for best-friend-since-cradle, Rose. Though he couldn't outrun his love for her, he did manage to find greater self-confidence during his time abroad. Rose is a bit more flighty, less attentive as a friend to Daniel's unspoken cues. She is more concerned with satisfying her physical needs than her emotional needs. An enjoyable quick read.
