The Rawley Family Romance
Olivia Hardin
3⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a bundle of books about the Rawley Family. It includes All for Hope, Justice for All, All for the Family, and All for a Little Christmas. I enjoy reading bundles so that I don't forget what happens previously.
Cute romance stories in each. Nothing that is hot and steamy. Wasn't as much of a pager turner as I normally enjoy.
Thanks to NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

This was an anthology about the Rawley family, how each member found love.
I got through most of the first story. I liked the characters and the premise and got vested into the story. What set me off was actually the terms the author used to describe heavy people. I didn’t really care for it and when it occurred a second time, particularly to describe a character I was starting to like, I decided to not finish the book.

All for Hope

Enjoyed reading this emotional read filled with a little action and suspense. Hope is on the run with a baby that's not hers. Brennan and Hope have been friends for years and have disappointed Hope numerical times. He decides to help her and along the way falls in love and discovers his past and future. Recommended read.

Justice for all

Enjoyed ready this story filled with suspense. Can have always been interested in Jay from the time she was a law student to when she became an intern at his law firm. As they spend time together feelings for each other grow but someone is determined to end their relationship. Recommended read

All for family
Jeremy and Meg are mentioned in the previous books and I'm am so glad their story is told in this book. Meg and Jeremy met at her best friend's wedding. There's an instant attraction between the two but family obligations and insecurities kept them apart. When they finally find their way back to each other they both learn to trust in their love for each other.

All for a little Christmas

A very quick read about detective Guillory from the first book "All for Hope". It follows his retirement and his budding romance with police officer Eva. I wish the story was a little longer.

Greatly written storylines with well developed characters kept me totally hooked into each story from the very beginning until the very end!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This is romantic, dramatic, suspenseful, engrossing and entertaining. All of the characters are captivating, each special in their own way. I didn't like Jeremy immediately, he was a snob. Brennan's adventure with Hope is heartwarming and suspenseful. Kay and Van took forever to get together. Jeremy turned into very sweet, sensitive and romantic guy while courting Meg. I enjoyed reading all of the stories, loved the characters and was very happy with the outcomes of all involved.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley. This is my honest opinion of it.

I had never heard of this author before reading this anthology, but I wasn't that impressed with it overall. I honestly doubt I'd read the author again, as I just couldn't get into the stories at all.

The premise of the stories were good but I struggled hard to get into each one, and often felt that I really wasn't emotionally invested in the story. The first book's beginning was slightly confusing, the story drawn out too much to keep my interest in the long run. The main characters really didn't make much sense to me either. Yes, they have a past, and there's something obviously major there, but what is it? Random flashbacks of memories thrown in here and there only served to frustrate and confuse me further, rather than actually explaining anything. The motivations for their actions were also equally vague and confusing to me, and it made for very boring reading.

The other books weren't much better to me. I couldn't connect with the characters and the plots felt slow moving at best, even with the "catch up" story! They also weren't all that suspenseful and felt pretentious more so than anything else. Definitely will be avoiding the author in the future!

All for Hope - 4* This is an engrossing tale about a woman who decides to break the law and go on the run with a baby in order to protect her from an abusive grandfather who has been granted custody. Luckily for her she has friends who are prepared to help out but how long will it be until the law catches up with her?
I was surprised that this was the first book in a series as I sometimes felt I was missing nuances and there was backstory to Hope and Brennan's relationship that was alluded to but not fully explained, almost as if the book started off a third of the way into the story (perhaps this book was once longer and edited?). Having said that, I enjoyed the book and looked forward to reading about other members of the Rawley family.

Justice for All - 4* Set in the same timeframe as Book 1, with some overlap of story, this book focuses on Kay Rawley, her law career and her attraction to her professor/boss Van. You get to learn a bit more about the Rawley family and a glimpse at the intriguing country of Durma. Throw in a stalker and you get a book that holds your attention for the duration.

All for Family - 4* Sweet story looking back on the romance of Meg and Jeremy Rawley.

All for a Little Christmas - 3* This is a short Christmas story involving the detective who arrested Hope (from Bk 1) for kidnapping. Felt like a magazine story.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.

This volume includes 3 stories and a novella. They were well-written and sweet. Each story can be read as a standalone, though they are part of a series with related characters. All for Hope: Hope is on the run, when Brennan, her high school sweetheart and best friend, sees her. He offers to help her. She cautions herself that it is only temporary, but the flames spark and the situation becomes ever more complicated. This was a sweet, touching, heartwarming story. Justice for All: Kay is the second child of an earl, but her goal is to become a lawyer. She has completed all the classes and just needs to pass the bar to be hired permanently at the firm where she has been interning. Audrick noticed Kay when she entered his classroom two years before. His admiration has increased in the time since she joined his firm. He is determined to keep his distance, but it is more and more difficult to resist her. Especially when he and Kay start to spend time together and discover they share the attraction. These were fun characters, and I enjoyed this story. All for Family: Meg married Jeremy, the earl's son, but helping with his sister Kay's wedding is bringing up old insecurities for Meg. Then she learns her ex-husband is ill and asking to see her, and she realizes she needs to face her painful memories. Family means everything to Jeremy, and Meg is the core of his family. Can she come to see herself the way Jeremy always has? This was a very moving, sweet story. All for a Little Christmas, A Rawley Family Story: Police Officer Eva Lipton has been trying to get former Police Officer Robert to see her as more than a friend ever since he retired, and she calls on him to help her investigate a church theft. I liked this novella and enjoyed seeing a couple of characters from another book in the series. I would recommend this volume to others. I enjoyed this volume and look forward to reading more books in this series as well as other books by this author.

This was a great story. Hope Sheffield was helping a young prostitute Justine Taggert that was pregnant to change her life. Hope helped her get a place to live and change her life. Unfortunately someone from Justine's past came after her, when he attacked her, she hit him with an object, and killed him. She was sentenced to prison, but asked Hope to make sure her parents didn't get her daughter as her father had molested her and that was why she ran away from home. I don't want to give anything away, so you will need to read the book. The story was exciting and there was love found.

Hope was a wonderful person and did something she shouldn't to help Justine's baby. Her old friend who she used to love, Brennan Rawley came through and helped her. There was so much growing up for both characters in this story. Brennan found a family he didn't know he had. At first I wasn't sure about his family, but grew to love them. It was a good book.

Justice For All (The Rawley Family Romances 2)
This book is about Kay Rawley. She has been in college working on her law degree. Her hardest and most favorite professor is Audrick Van Burren or Van. He is also a partner in he law firm Kay is interning. She is dedicated and a great student. Kay is interested in Van, but hasn't done anything about it since she works for him. Van has also been attracted to Kay. Kay has a friend, Thomas, who lives in her apartment building and goes to college too. Thomas likes Kay too much even though she has told him numerous times she is not interested. There are some scary things that happen to Kay. The love story of Kay and Van is heart warming. This is another good book in the series that I thoroughly enjoyed.

All for Family (The Rawley Family Romances -3)
This book is broke into three parts. Part one is Kay Rawley getting ready for her marriage to Audrick Van Burren. Then part two is Meg Rawley, Kay's sister in law remembering her old friends Ray and Rhonda who she grew up with and then married Ray. This tells us about Meg's childhood, her marriage to Ray, and Ray's betrayal. I was glad to see what had molded Meg into the sweet and caring person she is. It broke my heart to hear what some people said about her behind her back. It was so sad what Ray ended up doing to her. Luckily she met Jeremy who was so wonderful to Meg. Part three we get to see what has happened to Ray and Rhonda years after Jeremy and Meg have been married. This was a great story also.

All for a Little Christmas (Rawley Family Romances Short)
The last is a sort, sweet story. Baby Jesus is missing from the Catholic Church. Eva is called (she took Guillory's place at the station after he retired. His last case was finding Hope Sheffield who had kidnapped Michelle to keep her away from her grandfather who had molested the baby's mother.) and told about the theft. She calls Guillory to meet her there as Hope is with the priest. I liked seeing that Eva and Guillory were attracted to each other. I also loved the scene of when the baby Jesus is returned.
This is a great set to read. I strongly encourage you to read these stories. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of these books.

This is a wonderful bundle of romance stories about love, friendship, family and hope.

While each story is enjoyable and their own, the set is a fabulous way to get to know the Rawleys, see life through their eyes, laugh and cry with them, and have your heart sore as they each find their HEA.

If you’re looking for some down home, romantic magic, this is the set for you.
