Forbidden darkness by Alec John Belle.
I really enjoyed this book. Lots of action. Some great characters. Liked the story. I hope there is more to come. 4*.

Heather Hawkins finds out she is a Monster Hunter and will become nearly invincible on her 16th birthday (with the help of a handsome trainer to boot).
I honestly didn't expect to enjoy this book as much as I did. I like YA fiction but I can be picky sometimes. It is a fast read but is enthralling and I was left wanting more after the book was done. Thank goodness it was book one so I can look forward to reading more in this series.

"Monsters and romance, I was hooked before I even started reading. This is the type of story likelt to be picked up by a director and made into a movie. It vaguely reminded me of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and that is not a bad thing. I found it to be a completely creative work of art! I absolutely loved it!

There was plenty of action and the storyline was fast paced. I couldn't stop reading it kept me sitting on the edge of my seat and turning the pages continuously.

Wasn't a big fan of this book, it seemed really childish and be on a middle school level. It was fast paced.
