When the excitement and glamor fades, what is walking with Jesus like? Do I even see Him, feel Him, or hear Him? Is He a familiar presence in my life, or merely an abstract idea used for comfort? Where is Jesus when the messy stuff in life happens? Why is it so hard to measure up to His standards? No matter how hard I try, the devotionals, readings, meditations and other works aren't always helpful in keeping me connected. If Jesus is so great, why do I feel empty?

These questions are all addressed in this exceptional little book. I haven't read the first two. I only heard of this book because Andrew Farley recommended it in one of his tweets. Needless to say, it does not skip around any of the questions I listed above. It touches your heart, and leaves you in awe of the one we call Jesus. It does not take long to read, but you will savor its message long after.
