In theory, this is an awesome book. Girl power! Being kind to those around you! Asking for help when you need it! But I just didn't feel this book. The concept is that a little girl is being dropped off at daycare by her father (yes!) and throughout she sort of imagines herself as her own hero, Wonder Woman. Each challenge that comes her way has a counterpart with the traditional looking Wonder Woman. I think I might have enjoyed the book more if they had left out grown-up Wonder Woman and just left it at the little girl.

I love superheroine-themed children's books. I would definitely recommend this.

Adorable little book for a pre-schooler. The protagonist appears to be Latina which is a nice bit of diversity in a children's book and her classmates are just as diverse as she is. The story goes back and forth between the little girl and Wonder Woman and her friends, which is a great way to introduce your kid to your favorite DC characters. Checklist in the back of the book is a good way to remind your little one the ways to keep being a hero.

This was a cute, delightful book. Recommended for ages 3-5 (though I think it would be good for beginner readers as well), it's the story of a young girl heading off to school and the trials she might face. What would a hero like Wonder Woman do? How would she face her own challenges? This little girl, taking her favorite hero to heart, meets each challenge head on: sharing with classmates, fear on the playground, and spelling in the classroom. With heroic traits she changes what could have been a bad day into an amazingly great day. The illustrations mirror and compare this young girl's world with Wonder Woman's universe. Bright and colorful, short and sweet, this book would be a great read for new and early readers. This book would be a great addition for any child's library.

Positive book for girls to know they are strong, bold, & confident. The illustrations were colorful and adorable. Highly Recommended!

Another adorable superhero book for little ones! What a great way to talk about dealing with issues that arise at school.

The sun has risen, and now it is time to get ready for school. The little girl in the story book uses her superpowers of being prepared, kind, brave, honest, and strong to make the day a great one! Just as with Batman and Superman, this little girl’s day mirrors a day in the life of Wonder Woman. As Wonder Woman fights off monsters, the little girl uses problem solving skills to master monster situations.

Just like in Dahl’s other two superhero books, the illustrations are bright and colorful. In addition, they show a wide range of ethnicities in the children.

I appreciate the father-daughter dynamic in the story. It is the father who assists his daughter in getting ready for school, and it is the father who picks her from school. And I appreciate having a superhero book in this series that focuses on a little girl. I’m hoping that Dahl will continue these books, and to continue including girls.

I had gotten the exciting chance to read the batman bedtime book when it came out awhile back and it was an instant hit with my nephews whom are being raised as proper little nerds are.
I am very excited to have gotten the chance to see this book. I can't wait to share it with my niece who spends most of her time despondent that there aren't enough Wonder Woman things for her to have. The artwork is fun, colorful, adorable and easy to follow, the story reflecting the characteristics that make Wonder Woman so great and a reason to look up to as the child emulates her in day to day play is beautiful and perfect. Since this book is released after my niece's birthday she's definitely getting it for Christmas. I can't wait to share this with her, because I know she's going to love it just as much as I have.

Liked: When I started Be a Star, Wonder Woman! I thought I am loving that the superhero love is coming to the kids (especially girls). I like that they are taking everyday things and making it super.
Dislike: My only complaints is there is a weird body distortion of Bumblebees body on one of the pages and there was a point in the book that I felt this moment felt too on the nose about girl power (but it is for kids so yeah I would give a somewhat pass but still no to body distortion. I am happy Bumblebee was included though).
Overall, I enjoyed it. I cannot wait to see more superhero picture books.

This is my favorite one yet in the series. I love the can-do message, the values of teamwork and the diversity in the cast. My daughter is almost 4 and Wonder Woman is her favorite princess, this was a hit with her too.

Adorable but it may be more of a picturebook than a graphic novel. The theme of what a hero does and how a little girl can be a hero, too, is wonderful. I like the diversity of the children in the book. The contrast between DC Animated Universe style (think of the Justice League cartoons) or the superhero part and the warm broad illustrations for the kid's real life is a charming contrast.

It's Wonder Woman, er, Wonder little girl. Told side-by-side, a little girl tackles many obstacles and challenges similar to what Wonder Woman goes through. The graphics are stellar and very nice to look at with vibrant colors and solid artwork. This is a definite purchase for our children's area collection and one that many parents will appreciate for its straightforward reminder of good values.

Fantastic young approach to super hero literature! I loved the split pages with former Wonder Woman and young Wonder Woman and the challenges they face. The diversity present is excellent and will work perfectly as a #ReadingWithoutWalls choice for the month of April. I hope to see more books like this in the future.

I liked books with message. This is one fine book which shows how a value driven upbringing can bring a better character in our children. It is story of a small girl, who was taught by her parents/teachers how to tackle challenges and how to help others. She is compared with "Wonder Woman" - DC Comic Character.

Message of the book is "Hero doesn't born, they are made". Its not extraordinary power which make someone special, its their value system which make them hero.

Wonderful graphics with wonderful message. A definite book for small kids.

Oh, I'm in love with this series! After "Bedtime for Batman" and "Good Morning, Superman", here we have a little girl modeling her day after Wonder Woman. As always, the minimal text perfectly ties together the little girl facing a day at kindergarten against the "real" Wonder Woman fighting off monsters and villains. I especially loved the lessons in this one - getting along, helping each other, and persevering - as well as the diversity in the background characters! Another must read for comics fans with little ones, especially girls (gotta start 'em young!)

After reading Bedtime for Batman I asked for a companion book for little girls who want to be superheroes and here it is. It is time for school and this little girl is ready to be a superhero. I love that dad takes her in the morning and picks her up at night. Throughout the day she uses her superpowers to make it a positive one. Her powers included being prepared, kind, brave, honest and strong. She demonstrates these skills while participating in normal school activities. The story shows Wonder Woman fighting against monsters with a sentence beginning on her page and ending on the page with the little girl solving a problem of working on a situation. The illustrations are large, colourful and detailed. The children are all quite cute, and portray various ethnicities. A really cute book that could become a little girl's favourite.

This was adorable! I'm always on the lookout for books I can read to my future kids and this one seemed like such a cute one I couldn't pass it up when I saw it on NetGalley.

The book follows an unnamed character as she faces challenges throughout her school day and how her day reflects Wonder Woman's.

There were a lot of things to love about this book. The lack of name for the main character really drove the point that anyone can be Wonder Woman home. I also enjoyed how the book pointed out that heroes can't always do it all on their own and sometimes need a hand. Other wonderful things about this book: the beautiful art, the girl power message, the diversity of the characters, and the Dad being the one to drop off and pick up his little girl from school.

A delightful read all around!
