I really enjoyed reading this well researched well written history of Nova Scotia and Acadia. The author follows the British, The French and Indigenous peoples as they settle and war over Northeastern North America. I liked the way the author showed how maps and geography shaped the boundaries and public perception of the new empires. The text is accompanied by illustrations of these early maps. Enjoy this fascinating history
